Miss Ladybugs Diary

That's a kick ass workout! You really torch the calories. I cannot understand why the weight isn't just melting off you.

I don't know why I'm not melting off weight, I thought that before when I hit my first plateau, I think for a month or two, my body just got used to my workouts and so I never lost much, but i think it's readjusting again, and I should start going back down. SHOULD being the operative word here. LOL LOL

Me either. Kim works her ass off. Although the inches are coming off. Maybe it's muscle??

Anyway, Twin, you will kick ass in the challenge this week with your exercise and bonus pts. I don't think there will be the big weight losses some of us had last week. I'll be lucky if I don't post a gain. :cuss:

YOU are NOT going to post a gain, so stop talking like that. I think I'm getting pretty muscular, or at least when I look in the mirror now, my legs look ten times better than they did, let's say this time last year, OIY they were starting to get a little jiggle on them and well my legs in my opinion were always my better feature, so I got a little worried, good to see all this cardio and circuit training is tightening them back up again. YEAH!!!

Wow Kim that's a killer workout day.

Yeah, You just have no idea how much that statement is TRUE, I am totally wiped out after my Monday workout and last night it was even worse, as we started a NEW routine in my Jam class, and holy smokes I swear it's getting harder and harder, I actually had to slow down the last 10 minutes and pace myself, I think I'll not run or do the elliptical before this class on Monday nights, it's getting really hard now.

Well you are still dropping inches and you manage 2 hours solid slog in the gym at the end of your working day.

To me this just says slimmer and busting with energy! How can that be wrong? :)

Yes I have to agree with you Feli, I feel and look much more healthier than I did a year ago, and as I noted above, my legs are looking firm again, and my hips and around my chest are shrinking too, so I'll take being a little higher in weight, if that's what it means to look healthy "for me" now.
Good Morning Kimberly~
:waving:
Just wanted to stop in real quick and see how you were doing.
I can't stay long.
Things to do and a killer headache to deal with.
Saw that you lost another inch.
That is AWESOME!
Who needs pounds gone when they can keep shrinking like you do? LOL
Pretty soon we'll have to start calling you the Incredible Shrinking Woman.
Have a great day!
Later~

Hmmm Incredible shrinking women, oh I hope so. But remember I didn't have much of a loss the whole month of December, so I have some catching up to do. Plus with Aunt flo coming, I hope it doesn't damper my weigh in on Friday, she hasn't shown up yet, DANG HER!

I have a feeling Kimmy's turning into an American Gladiator type with all of that muscle. Hot stuff! Anyone who can bust her ass off in an office all day, THEN find the time to not only take care of her family but also head to the gym to workout as hard as you do, deserves MEGA props! Pardon me, while I throw some green your way, sweet bum. Mrawl! :D Love yas, Kim. You're doing awesome as always.

-Sheryl

Hey Sweetness!! I doubt I'll ever look as CUT as those ladies on American Gladiator, HOLY SMOKES, they have to lift all the time, and quite frankly, I'm a CARDIO girl more than a weights person. I do my Circuit training a few days a week, but that's about it for weights, it bores me to tears!! But I thank you for the compliment, I would love to have the hard ass bodies like those chicks, maybe some day, one can dream. LOVE YA TOO HOTNESS

One hour of high impact cardio - i would have thought it would use more calories than that :O

My scale isnt going up either - i lost my measuring tape though so no idea if ive lost any lol.

GO find that measuring tape girl, I'm sure your still shrinking your amazing on that bike, and I'm totally jealous of you, I hope you know that!!! I love biking, but don't have a place close to home except for the lake that i can ride, but I would have to pack up my bike and haul it over there to do it, and I rarely have time once I am home. BLAH!!! that's why I kick my butt on the stationary bike at the gym, even though it can't hold water next to the REAL thing, but what can.

Hello Kim. :)

Hello Sweet Cheeks!!

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I think I'll lay low a little on my Monday night workouts before my Jam class, Instead of doing my 30 minute elliptical, I opted for a nice 1 mile run up on the track, in which I did in 15 minutes. It was more jogging and a few times around of walking very fast, but mostly jogging, and then I did my 30 minute circuit training, then Jam, OH MY WORD, I was totally wiped OUT! I over did it for sure! I wasn't sure what to expect in my Jam class, as we are starting a whole new routine, It's SUPER hard and very high intense moves, I learn quickly, so next Monday, only circuit training and maybe bike a little to warm up.

I ate really good yesterday, as you can see in my recent post. Today, is pretty much the exact same, even though I'll probably have a small salad tonight with my black beans.

I'm going to the gym and I'll run on the elliptical tonight for about 35 minutes then I'll jump on the bike for another 30-35 minutes, it's one of my favorite combos to do.

Aunt Flo still is a no show, even though I feel her creeping up on me, OIY just come already WILL YA!!! HAHAHAHA for people who don't know who Aunt Flo is, that's my time of the month, Okay, just wanted to clear that up.
When I put my slacks on this morning, I noticed that I could actually hold the button and little latch, out in front of me when I attached them. These pants have on the waistband a button that's further away than the little hook/latch thing which is closer to my zipper, I know it probably isn't making any sense right? Well, what I'm trying to say is I could actually pull out in front of me my button hole and latch, because my pants are loose now. LOL LOL before I had to look over my boobs to see if I was getting the button into the hole. Does that make sense? LOL LOL LMAO!! Oh my word, why did I even go into all this, I should have just said my pants are looser today. HAHAHHA:svengo:

I'm a little tired today as expected, I didn't sleep really good, because my puppy wanted to go in and out last night, not just for the bathroom, but I think to investigate, he gets into these moods every few weeks, thank gosh it's not every night!! He's a small indoor dog, so I wouldn't leave him out all night, he would have a spaz! HAHAHAHAHA

Sounds like you are getting in some great workouts! I agree with you, if you've got something strenuous coming up, but want to do a small workout beforehand, then do something light to save up your energy for the hardcore stuff.

Congrats on another inch down! :hurray:

Hey Sweatpea!! Yep, It only takes me once then I'm ready to do it right. LOL LOL I'm getting ready to change my clothes and head over to the gym right now, I hope I get a nice workout in tonight. NO classes, just some running and maybe circuit training tonight. Later Gator!

Well after reading all that I'm totally ashamed! What a great weight loss buddy and work out partner you'd be. I'm just shocked that nobody's utilizing you for motivation and discipline, I know I would if I lived nearby, I'd just stick with you and do what you do :D.

Twin, I totally knew what you were talking about with your waistband button, b/c I have lots of pants like that, too. :D Congrats on your shrinking waist!! :hurray:

That body jam class would kick my ass!! I have no doubt of that. :D You are the uber gym rat.

HAPPY TLD YOU SEXY THANG!!:drool5:

I took a while with the waistband but I do get it. You can pull it out quite a way now!! Fantastic!! :D

Hi Kim

Sorry that I havent been in for a while. I have been catching up on all your news. I am certainly pleased that the dog seems to be on the mend - you have quite an animal collection there!

I'm down 1/2 inch on my waist and 1/2 inch on my hips today, HOT DIGGIDY!

What excellent news. I am so pleased for you. I would love to see some reduction on my waist. It is better to lose inches than pounds any day because that is what the world sees. I find that it is much easier for me to get a reduction in pounds than inches.

No wonder your waistband is getting looser with your waist going down like that!

Take care
Love

Hey gorgeous!!!! Congrats on the inches. I have lost my measurement sheet for the past 1.5 years' results. My daughter may have shredded it! I really need to find it so I can update my measurements. My clothes are still getting looser, especially in the legs and waist, and (like you) no weight loss. Oh well, at least I'm getting smaller.

Great news on the pants fitting looser...that is a sure sign you are smaller, no matter what the scales say!

I believe the key to consistent loss is to always be changing your workout...your body does get used to the level you are at...and will adjust accordingly. And giving it a rest or slowing down is not a bad thing either...it will respond when you get back at it!

Kudos Kim! :)

Well I need to change things up then.

Congratulations on the shrinking waist Kim. You've really worked hard, done a stellar job and now you are close to your goal weight.

Hey Cita~
Don't be ashamed! I wish I could scoot one of my girlfriends to the gym with me, they are all so damn busy anymore, they rarely make time for themselves and I mean that! One of them told me a week ago she was going to start back at the gym, but I have yet to see her. I know I HAVE to go, because I just want to look and feel better, so regardless I go alone and get it done! I love going, and now have made a lot of "new" gym friends, so really I'm never alone when I go anymore. :coolgleamA:

AHHHH me a sexy thang, OH BOY!!! that's what my H says too. LOL LOL but of course I tell him he's blind by love, so what's your excuse??? LMAO!!:smilielol5:
I love those slacks, and now I'm going to need to find me another pair like them in a smaller size, YEAH!! I'll wait until Feb, then I'll purchase some new ones, by then all the shorts should be adding to the racks and the slacks will go on sale, my type of shopping. RUBBA DUB DUB my rack sister!!

I took a while with the waistband but I do get it. You can pull it out quite a way now!! Fantastic!! :D

Yeah, finally it takes so long to lose anything for me now, I have to practically live at the gym to lose a pound a month. That kind of stinks! Oh well, such is life some days right.

I'll take more and more inches too, if that's how my body wants to reward me for all my hard workouts. OH PLEASE let me drop another 2 inches in my waistline and I'll be ESTATIC, that's my goal right now! Thanks for dropping by to check in on me, I love the encouragement!!

Hey Sweet Thang! Your the gorgeous one by the way! Thanks for your props! It's weird how are bodies are reforming themselves right now, it's like my fat is just turning to muscle and it's slowly happening, but it is, and therefore my scale is boring me to tears since it keeps staying in the same little section forever!! I want to just go up to it and say "hey, you better friggen move downward today, or I'm going to bust your ass" but you know my H would have me locked up, and well we just can't have any of that now can we. LOL LOL

Ahhh Thanks Beth! I just wish my weight was dropping like yours is, man some months I just want to see some weight loss and maybe inches shortly thereafter. It's all about the numbers for us isn't it. LOL LOL I do slow down about every 4 weeks, I take a week break, so my body does get a lot of unstable activity, and I rarely do the same routine more than twice a week.

Well I need to change things up then.

Congratulations on the shrinking waist Kim. You've really worked hard, done a stellar job and now you are close to your goal weight.

oh Thank You Kelly!! I do work hard, but maybe I need to work a little harder, I'm not losing weight like I was before, I think it's all converting over to muscle or just playing with my head. LOL LOL maybe my body is trying to sabotage me and see if I'll give up and stop working out. Well, if it thinks that, it's in for a rude awakening, because I'm going to workout as long as I physically can, I deserve that much, and well my Body will just have to deal with it and eventually give me what I want, RESULTS!!! LOL LOL

I went to the gym last night, I did the stair climber for 20 minutes, then jumped right onto the Arc Trainer for another 34-40 minutes. I burned a total of 550 calories, not bad for a little under an hour. I went home quickly and made my Black bean tortilla, lettuce, tomato, onion, salsa wrap, MMMMM it was yummy! I also sliced up some cucumber that was really good too.

I watched my recording of American Idol, I'll continue until it starts boring me to tears, then I'll switch to something else, So far it's cracking me UP!!! I mean REALLY, are some of these people tone deaf or what?? Come on, be real!! And some of these people say that their friends and family told them to come audition, are their family and friends in LA LA Land or just MEAN??? Okay, I'm no music teacher or singer, but I know a good sound when I hear it, and I know a good note and a good pitch, I would NEVER tell a friend or family member I know to go on live tv and sing for all these people and make a fool out of yourself, if you can't swing a single note. I'm telling you, I think it has to be these people just want air time that's all there is to it. Enough ranting from me on this topic!

I'm going to the gym tonight, I have my ONE hour Body Jam (high impact hip-hop dancing) class. And then I'm going home. I'm not going to do anything else, as I about did myself in Monday when I worked out hard before this class and paid for it later. It's really hard this new season, WOW! love it still. LOL LOL anything that makes me sweat like a hog and still have me leaving with a smile on my face is a great workout in my book.

I had my oatmeal this morning, two cups of java
PB&J for lunch
Banana for morning snack, almost forgot
Orange for afternoon snack
Water, Water, Water
Tonight, BIG Salad, with Fat Free Italian dressing, and light turkey. Same menu pretty much as Monday, I'll post my calories and Fiber in a few minutes, I need to run to Fit day to get that done. Later Everyone!
Have a wonderful FANTABULOUS DAY everyone!

Kimmers

What's an ARC trainer?

I totally agree about American Idol. I like watching this part of it more than the voting anymore.
I am sure w/o the tone deaf people there wouldn't be much of a show. :p

Yeah, finally it takes so long to lose anything for me now, I have to practically live at the gym to lose a pound a month. That kind of stinks! Oh well, such is life some days right.

I meant I was slow to figure out what you meant (though I did love the way you put it - nice visual :))- not that you were slow to lose!!

Actually, anyone who is losing anything at all is achieving more than I have lately!! I say that not to knock myself - because I've at least learned a couple of things and I'm still here for the long haul. However, to observe someone else like yourself, losing slowly, and shrinking inches - is kind of like seeing someone else's kids grow up. From outside - it seems to me that almost no time has passed - yet you are smaller - and then again - smaller still. It's almost like an instant miracle. I know that all your achievements are due to hard slog not divine intervention. Yet they seem so much more speedy when they are happening to someone else. Perhaps they will seem more speedy to you when you look back in a couple of years and see the result all put together instead of strung out the way it is now. There's such a lot of difference between "very very slow" and "nothing at all". It just doesn't seem like it until later on.

WOW Feli,
WELL SAID!! I have to agree 100%, maybe in a year I WILL be at that nice fit spot where I know I just need to maintain. I just think in life anymore everyone is in such a rush. I guess it's the same way of thinking about weight loss, we want to see the loss NOW, we hate WAITING for anything and our patience grows thin as the passing months go by and little has happened. But, as with other BIG events in our past, they seem to happen to us quickly, because we were not thinking about them happening each day, once they were here, we celebrated and then went on to the next day. I think weight loss is going to be like that too, it will come one day, but when we least expect it, and we will celebrate that day, and then it will be over and the next day will come. Patience is the hardest part in life for me and I struggle with it more than food. LOL LOL We all want to see the fruits of our labors and sometimes we feel cheated when we labor out more than the fruit that comes in. LOL I'm working very strongly on this concept and trying to apply it each day, not just in weight loss, but in my business too. Some months I have to work extremely hard and make nothing from those efforts, then finally a few months down the road, all those cases and marketing pieces I worked so hard on finally pay, then it's a great month. I swear living means learning, and if your not learning something new each day, what's the sense of being alive right? I love learning and I still have a lot of it to do!! Thanks for the wonderful words!!
Kim

I can totally agree with you guys on the patience issue.
I just had a slap up side the head moment about 20 minutes ago!
Here I have been all week moaning and groaning how my scale is just not going where I want it to when I decided to check into the 75lbs in 2008 thread that I am on. I went back and looked at my original wt that I posted on New Years Day. It was 199.2! And I am now floating in the 194 range.
What the heck is wrong with me that I expect to lose more than 5 pounds in 17 days! LOL :ack2:
We all could use a bit more patience I think! Me especially!
Have a great day Kimmer!

I guess I'm blinded by TLD lust over your big boobs and pretty face. :D You ARE a sexy thang--and don't ever tell yourself otherwise!! Got it? Good.

I hope you enjoyed your rack rub down yesterday. :drool5:

Good luck with the weigh in Friday. If there is any justice in this world, you'll drop 3-4lbs from all your hard work. Oh, wouldn't that be wonderful if life was fair? :smilielol5:

*Big wet smooches*
