Miss Ladybugs Diary

Wow! Sounds like you've got a busy busy week ahead of you! Your weekend sounds oh so fun!

Don't worry about last weekend's indiscretions--I know you'll kick ass this weekend and drop that lb in no time at all.:):hug2::hug2:

WOW, I truly think my office water Screws me up!! I've been bringing water from home, but I only brought in two bottles today and I still wanted more, well I got some from our kitchen here, and I swear it smells like chlorine and tastes like it too, now my stomach feels like crap. I'm not drinking it again, it does this every time. DAMN that water!!

Ick that sucks!!! I don't dare drink the water straight from the faucet here in New York. It smells like crap. I've invested in one of those water purification thingy majiggers. You can always buy one of those filtered pitchers for work that way you can enjoy clean water without having to smell chlorine while drinking it. Can't go having my Sugar Butt getting ill over there, damnitt! ;) Love yas, doll.... you'll get rid of that pound plus some by the end of this week!

Hey There sweet TWIN!! I'm not worried AT ALL about the last week ummmm set back, actually it's not really a set back, I don't look any different in the mirror, everything is still in the same place, so I'm sure it's water retention. :) I really am looking forward to this week, and it should be a lot of fun and busy, that's the way I like to ROLL. LOL LOL HUGS Sweetness!

Hey hot sweet stuff!! Your right about the water purifier, I should think about getting that too, but instead I just fill up about 8 bottles and bring those in during the week, and keep recycling them it's cheaper and my water out in the sticks is YUMMY!! I love our well water, plus we have a water filtration system at home too, so it really is good. I'm not worried about that pound, actually I'm pretty sure it's gone today. :) HUGS!

Oh to answer Sweat Pea's question I'm 38 and holding strong sister!! HAHAHAH I actually feel 28, so I'm happy with my age for now!! And on the menstrual cycle thing, I've had that one month a year off thing for so long I can't remember how far back, I'm usually ever 28-29 days on the MARK, just for some reason once a year I have a month where it starts early, not sure exactly why, but no biggie, at least they are only 3 days long. LOL LOL

On a lighter note, I busted butt at the gym yesterday, I did my circuit training class, it also includes squats, so yeah!! after than I took my hour long Body Jam class, man oh man that class is kicking my butt. We have so many JIRO low squatting movements I'm surprised the next day I can move, REALLY I'm not kidding, it's high intense leg workouts that's for sure!

I just picked and nibbled on a few things last night for dinner, I was to busy watching the BRONCOS screw up a game again. What the hell were these guys thinking?? Come on, you don't do a running play when your 1 yrd from a first down and less than 10 from a TD, OMGOSH!! i could have reached through that screen and slapped them all!! Enough of that mess, moving on!!

I reached into my closet this morning and pulled out an "OLD" full length suede skirt I used to wear many, many years ago, it's a size 8 and chocolate brown, I LOVE IT!! I still looks in style it's got that A line to it and it looks fantastic with a pair of black leather boots that thank gosh I own, hahahaha, well needless to say, I haven't been able to zip that zipper all the way in many years and for kicks I put it on today, NO, NO I still couldn't get the zipper all the way up, ALMOST, I have about 1 1/2 inches to go, then it's there!! HALLELUJAH!! This is now my official determination and willpower skirt, I'm going to try it on at the end of each month, until I GET TO WEAR IT!! I SHOULD be able to zip it up by Christmas if I keep plugging away like I have been, I'm so totally stoked about that, I now have something new to motivate me, YEAH!!!
This is the freaky part, the last time I was able to zip that skirt up I was weighing in at 140 pounds, and today I'm 175, so that boggles me, because I'm sure if I lose another 15 pounds I no doubt will fit in the skirt, so it just amazes me how much fat I have converted to muscle, that's awesome. So the same skirt will fit me at 160, that used to fit me only at 140, DAMN our bodies are just a creation of mystery that's all I'm saying. OH and I PROMISE you I will post that picture once it fits. and you all know by now I NEVER break a promise on here. :) I can't wait!!!!

Well that's enough BLAH, BLAH about me today, I hope you all have a fantastic day!!! My boss is buying lunch again for everybody, I'm ordering in Quizino's subs, I'll have chicken on Wheat, MUSTARD ONLY and lots of loaded veggies. YEAH!!! and of course 4-5 bottles of water. YES!!! :rotflmao:
Chow babes!!

Oooo! What a yummy sounding lunch!

It's great to know that you are still attacking your exercise program with such gusto - and that you can see yourself fitting into that skirt so soon!!!

I'm trying!! Some days seem a little harder to get to the gym, but I think mainly it's due to my buddies not going anymore, and well they were my support, now it's totally up to me. I know I have to do it, so I do. Also I'm sure in the back of my mind, I'm thinking that soon I'll be looking pretty good, and they will wish they continued working out as well. And to me that's motivation. I'll be seeing one of them the first of December for our get together, I just want for once to take a decent holiday picture, without a darn double chin in the way and to not look like the heavier one of the whole bunch. I think I have at least part of that down, as my chin is about gone now, so it's just getting leaner that I need to continue on, I'm sure I'll be close by then. I can't wait!!!!

That is really great!! It's so good that you are keeping up your gym habit despite them not continuing! The sad truth is that not many people do manage to keep up their changes until they meet and master their goals so it's not likely that any of us will reach the finish with the exact same partners that helped us get going. Finishing counts more though!! :D

Yeah, that's the sad part, because one of them is the person that got me started doing my group classes, and now I can't stand missing those particular classes. I really wish I could find someone as gung ho as I am at going to the gym and really I wish I could find someone who likes to run or do weights because those are my weeknesses and I think if I had someone like that, I might be more inclined to do those more often. Ahhhh, maybe I'll find someone in the future!

Oh VBF, that's so great you have yet another form of motivation. I really think that you'll fit in that skirt VERY soon, and also, you're right, myself included, muscle does take up significantly less space on the body--you remember that purple and black chiffon corset top in one of my pictures? Let's see, I was about 153 lbs when I wore it back in 2005; in 2006 I was the same weight around that time, BUT I was more muscular. There are 2 settings: so it can be tight and then about a half inch tighter. When I was more muscular but the same weight, I could put it on the tighter setting, no problem. In 2005, I was DYING from the pressure and had to have it put on the larger setting. I thought it was weird there was so much of a difference--but there you go!

Yes, please keep going to the gym. I have barely EVER had the pleasure of an exercise buddy, just randomly throughout my life and ya know what? Most of my peers just don't put exercise as a priority, and I have since I was 21 (and before that, 18-20, but at the University school went first). And you're right, by Xmas your chin will be gone, you'll probably be in that skirt, and you'll be the hottest mama in the pictures of you and your girlfriends, so KEEP IT UP!!! :D

Seeing what you achieve will probably be motivating to your friends as well, of course. That might encourage some to rejoin you - or others to join!! Weight loss often works like that! :)

Hey mami,

I was reading the leather skirt post and it definitely raised a question in my mind... "Hmmm... I wonder if I can get away with weighing in at 140 and looking like I weigh less." This time around, my muscles are definitely looking much better. I really hope you get into that skirt by Christmas time, doll. If you keep up your workouts, you're going to get to the point it'll probably be too baggy. LOL!!! Wishing you a wonderful day, beauty. Ttyl!

Your right VBF!! I used to have an old aerobics instructor, she had the hottest body I had ever seen, and I could have sworn HANDS DOWN she wasn't any higher than 140 soak and wet as she was about my height, then one day I decided to ask her little skinny butt just what she weighed, I was in shock when she told me she was 160 lbs, WHAT????????? for real I said, and she said YEP, it's all muscle. So that in itself has kept me going, as maybe I can look just as good as she at 160. Ahhhh, man that would be fantastic!! And your right Feli, I have been so motivated by several people on here that have lost over 25 pounds and more that showed before/after shots, that really kept me going to the gym all these past 6 months, I figured if they can do it, then darn it so can I, WHY NOT?? I'm just like everyone else. Of course, I think with age, it just takes twice as long. LOL LOL Just seeing this from first hand experience. uggg! I used to drop 10 lbs in a month NO problem, now it takes me 4 months to lose 10. WOW!

As long as it is steady (not too bouncy), slow is good. Not in advance - but afterwards it is good. Because while you are losing slowly you are digging yourself in to all your good habits and making them a permanent part of your life, in the way that they need to be. You are doing great! :D

I have no exercise buddies, either. My friends like to talk about it--but they never DO it..lol. Just gotta find that support from within--and at WLF..lol

yeah, I was hoping the packers would lose, b/c I want the Lions at the top of their division...Brett Favre--retire already!!!..lol.

I LOVE YOU, DARLING!! Keep rocking it at the gym! :hug2::hug2:

Hey Kim, I'm finally checking in on you!! How's it going? It's awesome to have something to wear to motivate you. I do have another pair of jeans a size smaller, but I really should hang them on the wall so they can remind me of my goals, eh? LOL!

I'm doing pretty good these days, the weight loss is slow, BUT steady, so I'm not going to complain. I work out a lot, and enjoy it more than I used to. And yes, I can't wait to wear that skirt again, it's funny sometimes what you find in a spare closet or in the back of your room closet, I found so many old items I haven't been able to wear in years, I'm really motivated to work it out!! And look at you, ALL SLIM and trim, you must be very proud of yourself, that takes so much time, work, and determination, I look up to those like you!!! Thanks for stopping in>
