Miss Ladybugs Diary

First off, thank you everyone for stopping in to say HI, even though I haven't posted in my own diary in days! I have taken nearly two weeks off of the gym, and I feel fantastic. Believe it or not like Rho said in her diary, I think I've lost some weight, and probably needed the break to give my body a rest. It's not like I just sit home and do nothing, I wish I had a few days like that, instead it's rush here and rush there after work, as there is never a dull moment around my area. I finally got our pool all going, and this weekend, I'm going to bake in there, as my legs are sooooo damn white it's insane! I'm usually nice and golden brown by now. LOL LOL don't worry everyone, I will put on sunscreen, and I ALWAYS cover my face. I don't want any wrinkles or fine lines before I'm due, that's for sure! Age will help that out on it's own, and I'm not giving it any ammunition. LMAO!! I hope to take some pic's of me in my swimsuit, so you can all laugh at my pudge. LOL I don't care, I just want to see for myself if I'm looking better, that's all. I will have to confess that the last few weeks, I've been able to DVR (record) several NEW programs, that I'm really excited about, One is called "Burn Notice" and that guy is HOT!! has anyone seen this yet?? OH HUBBA HUBBA, love me those dark haired, mysterious types for sure! And then there is this show called "Saving Grace" really good, and "State of Mind" fricken FUNNY!! On occasion I'll tape Eureka on Sci-Fi or Ghost Hunters, got to love my ghost busting friends. LOL LOL I'm so far behind on watching them, I hope I still have room on my DVR to record more. OH yeah, my hubby went and bought a NEW ummmmmm, how do you say this. Projection/big screen tv, I think that damn screen is 100 inches, I'm not kidding, what the hell is he thinking?? And what is it with men and big screen tv's anyways?? I just don't get it, AT ALL!!! But he isn't the type that spends a lot of money, so I can say he works very, very hard at his job, so if that's what he wants, so be it. I just don't get it personally. On a different note, I'm still eating pretty good, sticking with my normal bowl of good cereal and 1% milk in the morning, and lately it's been oatmeal for lunch, I love that stuff. I've been consuming a lot of water, and for dinner. Just whatever I feel like, I actually grilled a burger the other night and ate it, can you believe that??? I hope you all have a great weekend, we are forecast to have another 4 straight days of 100 degree temps, so we got that pool done, JUST IN TIME!!!

Wow I found you!

Hi Kim, I just wanted to stick my head in here and say hello!

LOL on the big screen TV thing, my friends husband has one that you
can watch several channels at once on. Like 3 different football games.
Geez, did you get that one?

Have fun out at the pool

Sona

I'm back too! LOL.... I hope you enjoyed your time off from the gym! And hopefully when you go back you'll start going down again :) I've been away from exercise for far too long and need to get back into it, hehe.

Girl, when are you hopping on that scale? I'd like to know if the rest period had any impact. Sometimes the result isn't seen til you start back at the working out and stuff, so dont get discouraged, but I was hoping it HAD moved. Hope you're doing great Kim :).

Hello Everyone!! I'm BACK!!! YEAH!! I started my first workout session at the gym yesterday, it was so wonderful going back after my two weeks off. I think it did my body good. I ran nearly 4 miles on the elliptical that took about 33 minutes, then I took my 1 hour of Group Groove, OH THAT WAS A BLAST!!! Me and the Personal trainer get together tonight at 5:30 and I'm going to get some advise on two things, TONING my arms and working my abs. I'm really happy with my legs right now, and with all the cardio I have done in the past 6 months they are looking really nice. I must say I know I've lost some more inches as I have this size 8 skirt and today, I was able to zip it up all the way in the back, it's snug, but I can wear it and it's not going to tear down the seam. LMAO!!! I'm eating really well as always, this morning I had a small bowl of raisin bran/1% milk, and I made a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich for my lunch today, I love peanut butter and my aunt who is a fitness trainer in another state told me to eat it as it's a good source of protein, just don't GLOP it on, and I didn't I measured out about 2 TBSP, mmmm I love them!! I have water, water, water, and a nutri grain bar or those 100 calorie chex mix snacks if I need a snack later. My theory this time around is I need to up my calories, I think I was burning to many and not consuming enough, I'm going to try my best to eat more during the day, I PROMISE!! I want to fit in some nice Jeans this winter, that's my goal. Oh yeah, I'm burned to a crisp right now, because I worked out in the yard/pool all weekend and well, it didn't take long before that old sun scorched the backside of my legs, I'm in a little pain, but I'll get over it. I wore sunscreen on my face, so don't worry my face looks fine. hehehehe Well, I better get busy I have a lot of work to do today. I can't wait until tonight, I hope that trainer gives me some good advise. OH YEAH, I won a NEW GYM BAG!! on that spin deal. YEAH!! It's sooooo nice, and I needed a new one and BADLY, my other one was starting to rip in the inside, it was pretty bad. EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
Kim

VBF, No I haven't weighed in yet, I'm so freaking paranoid I can't stand it. Right now I'm just judging by my clothes alone, and Monday I promise I will weigh in. I PRAY it's a good one!! And I'm so looking forward to a new routine regardless if it's weights or not, but you know I HATE WEIGHT TRAINING, I would rather run 10 miles non stop. LOL LOL Thanks sister!

Sounds like you're doin' great! Congrats on being able to zip into a size 8! :D

- Sunny
I know I couldn't believe my big butt got into that skirt, but you know it's probably just one of those makers that run big for the size showing on the skirt, you know what I mean???? I'm still wearing my 9-10 capri's even though they are baggy in my legs and butt. HAHAHAHA I just can't break down yet and buy new stuff, I'll do it come winter and that's a PROMISE!! Thanks Sunny I really appreciate you stopping by today, that means a lot!
Kim

Hey Kim,

It's good to have you back. I hope you enjoyed your trip. I also can't wait for you to weigh in. My time off definitely shifted the weight in my case, so I'm sure it'll work for you too :)

Give this note to your trainer:

Dear Kim's trainer;
You and I both know that regular weight training will turn Kim into the svelte, hot, sexy Mama she is. Please make her weight train until she LOVES it, and all three of us will be thrilled at the results! Sincerely,
Valerie.
;)

I agree with Curves, I think the weight training will definitely firm up your shape and bring out some of the curves in all the right places. I hear you on not buying new clothes, I wore baggy clothes for months and months before I went and got a bunch of things I fit in now. Unfortunately they're getting a tad tight now and I really must nip that in the bud since I'm no where even near my goal weight. Can't wait to check in Monday and see whether the scale is being nice to you. Have a good one Kim :).

Damn, I hope so!! As much as I hate weight training I'm really going to focus on it. I had my assessment last night, you know all the measuring and what not, and then they made me do as many push ups as I could in 1 minute. I did like 29 or 30, the guy's jaw dropped. I was embarrassed, because I thought that was bad. I guess it's actually decent. LOL LOL he said most that come in "girls" can't do more than 10. HAHAH I know most of you on here can rock many, many more, so I'm not bragging trust me!! Then he did the same thing, but it was crunches in a minute, I only did about 28 of those, but I took my time. He also had me go to this "step bench" and he had this ticker going making this click, click noise and he wanted me to step up and down for three minutes at the pace of the ticker then take me pulse. It was okay I guess around 100 I think. I wish it was around 80 that would have been excellent. This is the funny thing, just going into this super hot ass room and knowing he was going to measure me, put my BP threw the roof. It was like 148/90 some crazy high amount. I checked it at work about 7 times through out the day today and it never got over 130-70, most the readings were 126/70 so that's norm for me, but can you believe the anxiety of knowing I was going to be measured put my BP through the roof. WOW, I was freaked out. I guess I have "white Coat" syndrome, but not on needles. LOL LOL anyways, I start the weight program on Friday, I hope it works. Tonight I'm going to group groove, YEAH!! I've missed it so much. I'll probably run or bike afterwords. Yesterday I just did the assessment and biked 7.5 miles in 30 minutes, it said I burned over 450 calories, I was happy with that I guess. but, I'm going to work hard tonight. I better get going I need to wrap stuff up here. Thanks everyone for your continued support!
