Miss Ladybugs Diary

Popping in here on your diary to say hi (I replied to your post in my diary, already!) and see how your Tuesday is going! Hope its a super day! :)

Phew, that is a relief about AF!

Can't wait to hear about the new weights program. Good that you're taking a break, you'll get back into it when you return from holiday and I think you'll actually benefit more from taking this break than if you over-trained. Its so counter-intuitive though .

How long will you be gone on your mini-holiday? What ever happened with the friend, are they going or did they back out?

Happy anniversary!

Talk to you soon my sweet friend :).

I just wanted to ask you if you your scale works - LOL...No gym for 3 days or the rest of the week - WOW...Does your body know what is happening to it - HA HA HA

well it looks we're in the same mess lol...maybe i need to have some rest too, or just kuck up my workouts...however i won't be able to do that until september. what can i say mediterraneans and our siestas lol
its great you'll start a new weight program. its hard but i just love what weights do for my body :D

Hi Ya girls!!! and guys!! heheh can't leave them out, they get cranky! :) I'm doing really well on my 5 day without exercise. What's strange is I've had more comments about the way my body looks this week, then I've had the past 4 weeks. My body must be in changing mode again. I've been on the run just about every day since last weekend. I had to drop off that bridal gift, stop by the pool place and then run back home to clean up and start dinner for the family. Oh and I'm trying to do a load of laundry each night so I have clean sheets and comforters to put on the beds when my mom comes to stay, you know how that is. I've also worked a lot on the yard. So even though I haven't been going to the gym, I haven't sat still either. I'll be leaving Thursday after work, and I won't be back until Sunday night. So I will post all about my weekend on Monday. I'm so looking forward to it, you have no idea!! Aunt Flo has pretty much left the building, so I'm feeling MUCH, MUCH better and less bloated HALLELUJAH! I'm going to try and flush out my system for the next two days, so I feel refreshed and No water retention on my vacation. I had my bowl of oatmeal this morning, and I'll probably have a slim fast shake for lunch as I did yesterday. So that would put me at 350 calories for oatmeal and 190 for the slim fast, and MAYBE I'll have a strawberry nutri grain bar for snack this afternoon, that will be 140 Calories, putting me at 680 for the day hours!! and who knows what I'll eat for the evening. I had the exact same thing yesterday, and when I got home I had ONE slice of Cheese pizza and some tea, and about 1oz of jalapeño cheese slices with about 6 crackers. That means I probably consumed hmmm 400 calories for the pizza and another 300 for the cheese/crackers, that gets me to 1400 or so, MAN can that be right??? Trust me, I'm trying to get up in calories, but I get full faster now and well, if I eat to much I feel horrible. That just blows me away, I felt like I ate 2000 yesterday. WOW. Well, Maybe I'll grill some chicken tonight and veggies. I need to get going I have a lot of work to do today. Later everyone!!!!!
Kim

Hi, Kim. "Time off" for you still seems like a whirlwind of activity. That's great you're getting all those comments -- you deserve them!

And glad you included us cranky guys! :D

Sounds like your break is treating you well...like Blancita says, it feels counter-intuitive, but even after all this time I still see visable body changes a couple days into an "no exercise" break...I'm so excited for you that you're starting with weights post vacation...because you lost so many inches with primarily cardio, I have a feeling that your body is going to have some pretty rapid and impressive "shrinkage" once you hit the weights....hope you have a fantastic mini-vacation with the hubby - you deserve it!

Good to hear you are enjoying your break still and keeping busy! You have earned your vacation! Glad you are feeling good too! yay on the body changes...funny how that seems to happen out of the blue...I know what you mean...feels good to see the progress! Not just in our clothes, but in the way our form changes! :)

Talk to ya later...

YEAH, I'm back!! I had a WONDERFUL time, it was so romantic and stress free!! I now wished I would have taken today off as I have so much to do at home, I won't be able to go to the gym tonight, can you believe that?? I've been a whole week now without working out and I feel GREAT!! my clothes are still fitting really, really good! And I'm not going to weigh myself until after I start back at the gym, there is just no reason for it. I walked my butt off while on vacation also, I swear we walked 50 miles those three days. HHEHEHEHE okay, it wasn't 50, but I'm sure it was enough to burn what I ate eat day. The breakfast they served at our B&B was awesome!! Half the plate was full of FRESH fruit everyday, like strawberries, cantaloupe, grapes, blueberries, blackberries, bananas and kiwi. ALL were TOP NOTCH in taste! Oh it was good!! I can't wait to go again! I don't have a lot of time to post right now, but I'll try to get around some diary's in the next few days. I hope everyone did really well this past week and I can't wait to see who stayed on target and who lost some inches and weight! I seriously think I'm still dropping inches even though I haven't worked out in a week, it's fantastic!! I'm going to focus on my NEW weight routine and making my upper arm area look good, that's my main focus, can't wait to see some good results. Well, I'm off to get things done. I'll chat at you all later!! CHOW!
Kim

Kim, that is so awesome. I'm glad you had an excellent time with your man, your husband :) The food sounds so healthy! I really hope your weight will drop, and soon! :hug2:

Hey Kim, I've been really busy (and stressed) myself. Haven't had time to come on here, but I did want to stop by to see how my friend's anniversary holiday went :). So glad you had a good time. Looking forward to hearing about your weight routine. I'm going to be starting back with the weights too, but I've also been too busy to get to the gym.

Welocme back and so good to hear you had a wonderful time away! Here is to getting on to your new program and having great success! :)

Hey Kim,

I'm real glad your getaway went well. It sounded perfect, especially when you were describing breakfast and walkign 50 miles! :)

I'm sure you'll see a change when you get back to the gym - I just had my first workout today after resting for 11 days and I'd lost a few pounds, so I'm sure your rest has done the trick.

I hope you're having a lovely week Kim :)
