Miss Ladybugs Diary

Yeah you would think I would be a size 6 right Curves?? my body just doesn't pour off the weight no matter how many days a week I sweat at the gym, and your right I eat pretty damn good and I rarely go over my 1500-1600 calorie mark for the day.

Sometimes it is just a cruel waiting period - determination and patience...you did have that 5 lb drop...I get like that myself I work out like crazy and gain gain gain and eventually get a big satisfiying loss

Well - lol - Ihad multi quoted a few things to respond to but it seems I have lost them - anyway - good on you for those 2 hours int he gym - I bet you feel marvelous when you return home - what an accomplishment - you work out so hard...youw ill get where you are going for sure...

Reading your diary abt a relaxing saturday night at home watching movings and a sunday of reading and such makes me jealous lol - damn Iwant my kids to grow up - ha ha ha...I also gotta go to work tonight - yucky...

Anyway Im glad your weekend has been good so far and definately drinkt hat water and jump oin that bike you will feel great !!!

Thanks Cinder!! I know I have to be patient with my weight loss, but working out all the time and eating good makes you think you've earned it right. HAHAHA I'll be fine, even if my scale doesn't go down a pound. Really, I'm teasing when I say I'll be pissed. I know I've lost inches and really that's all that matters to me anymore. I'm wearing clothes I haven't put on in a few years, and that speaks a lot more to me than any stupid scale. As long as the clothes keep get looser I'll feel great regardless if the scale ever moves again. Really I'm not kidding at all. Don't wish for your kids to get older any quicker than they will already, because with age comes other issues all together, enjoy them while they are young, REALLY that's no joke!!! :)

I totally enjoy my kids _ i dont know what I would do wihtout them and my life would be pretty damn boring as well!!! I just get tired of going non stop and never gettin any peace or tiem to myself but that is just the way it goes :):):) You were a single mom yourself you totally know where i am coming from

YES I do!! And there were many, many night in there I wish I could go out with friends and not worry about being home the next day. It seemed like all I did for years was work, come home, make dinner, clean, take the boys to either sports functions or school stuff, go to bed. And wake up and do it all over again, for about 10 years straight. HAHAHAHA But, you know it was all worth it!! I hope that gave them a good role model to look up to. We will see. :jump: Our kids are the most precious thing we can ever have, and they deserve to be treated as such, then when they are teenagers, it will be time to kick some butt. HAHHAHAHA Some days I could just pull my hair out. HAHHAHA They are good kids don't get me wrong, they just want to do their own things, and sometimes they don't communicate real well and we always seem to get our wires crossed. It's actually funny sometimes. But, it's all good!

My oldest is turnign 13 it has already been like that for years - heres to teenagers...Im glad im still young...I think 30 will be when I get my grey hairs - a 13 yr old and a 3 yr old :):):)Plus im trying to change jobs...

Oh Kim I hope you’re able to get in your pool tomorrow! It’s so wonderful that you have fun, especially with all of that dry heat you must endure. I love hot sweltering weather but if I’m out playing around in it I must be near a pool or the ocean. Especially after mowing the lawn, jumping in that pool will be fantastic.

I feel bloated like that too when it’s super hot outside, and I’m naturally fair complexioned so I look all red too if I’m not really tanned. As long as you know it’s the heat and not you! I always have to remind myself of that, like if I forget to run the ac at night, I wake up all bloated and I refuse to weigh myself because I’m terrified I gained weight. Don’t stress, you’ve been doing so much hard work Kim, even if the scale doesn’t reflect a lower number (which I’m pretty positive it will) you know that you’ve been losing weight. Like you said, you’re losing crazy inches, THAT is really what matters. I know you know that though hahaha. But I’m so excited for you, I’m sure you lost! Aw you are such a good mommy ;o) Having a kid would be the hardest thing in the world. I don’t know how I could manage to eat healthily and exercise and focus on myself with a kid. I couldn’t! All you moms amaze me. :)

Sara, trust me you could do it. Some day you will see that when you become a mom, something just triggers and you become a person who can juggle and do it pretty well. Like with everything else in life, it just comes naturally, so don't be in awe of us, BE IN AWE OF WOMEN in general. We are all awesome.!! :jump: :jump: :jump: TWO THUMBS UP FOR WOMEN!!

I'm trying really hard to reach some weight loss, everytime I jump on that scale and I see a few pounds down, it motivates me even more,

This was me...well, still is. LOL! I'm in a competition with myself. "The scale went down half a pound, so let's try to beat that." :)

Hi Kim!
Housework, yardwork, movies, relaxing....sounds like a good weekend. My weekend is bizarre on account that I'm working. Well, pouring wine doesn't sound like work but trust me, it is! Isn't it weird when your weekends are all crazy-atypical? I hope the rest of my week isn't screwed up! J/K! Have a great day!

I hope your weekend is perfect!
The pool will be fun whenever you get it going, the sooner the better. :D
I send you very VERY light thoughts for your weigh-in tomorrow. Although the inches are definitely more important than the absolute weight, you have certainly earned to read a nice number on the scales as well.
:hug2:

Niltch, Noda, Nothing!!!

Thanks everyone!! WELL DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!........... I have lost a total of ZERO pounds the last two weeks. YEP, the scale is exactly where I left off. Am I upset NAH... because two weeks ago my belt was on the 3rd notch, today it's on the 4th and could easily move to the 5th if I chose to, but I like when it hangs a bit. And to think less than 9 weeks ago, I couldn't even get this belt on the first notch, so I'm losing inches for sure!! Plus I put on a pair of Capri's this weekend I haven't wore in years. I'm certainly getting smaller again, it's very exciting. And this exact thing happened to me in May remember?? for two weeks I lost NO pounds, but my clothes got baggy, then on the 3rd week I was down 5lbs. I KNOW in my mind I'm working out so much and so hard I'm probably turning all this fat into muscle, I know I am, so I'm not going to let it get to me that it hasn't moved. I'm alright, actually I'm pretty damn happy things are fitting real good and I'm wearing old clothes again, "OLD SMALLER CLOTHES" I think I lost another inch in my waist this past couple weeks, and an inch or more around my upper thigh. I think I lost an inch or more around my bust line too, because my bra's are all getting to big now and I'm wearing them on the last notch as well. It's all working itself out, even though pounds are not dropping off, the fat is obviously. Only time will tell if in fact my theory here is true. Like I said I want to be down a complete size by the end of this month and I'm just about there now. It would be nice if by next Monday my weight shows a little down, but I'm not going to freak out about it. I work out and eat really good, I don't think there is anything more I can be doing at this time. I've cut out everything I can think of, plus I work out 4 or more days a week for hours at a time. I'll just take it another few weeks and see what happens. I'm actually amused by this whole body thing, it's got me going Hmmmmmm, I need to figure this out. Another Challenge, I love those!! I had a bowl of mini wheats and 1C 1% milk this morning. I brought a PB&J with only 2tbsp peanut butter, light jam. Around 300 calories for the whole thing. I have apples and oranges here so I'll do fine. I'm going to drink as much water as possible. Maybe I didn't get enough in the past few weeks. Oh well, I'm thrilled clothes are looking good again. I'll take it a week at a time. Later everyone!!
Kim

Kim, sorry the scale gods didn't respond to my incense offerings, but it's great you have more than one goal! And having the clothes fit better is really the more important goal anyway, so congrats on that.

Thanks Tom, I feel the same way. Plus my cardio workouts kick butt!! I think I'm in better shape and can hold out longer than most the 20 yr olds in my cardio classes. My body will do what it will, but I feel and look better than I have in a long time and that's all that I really care about.

The scales are a load of crap. You have been losing inches, that's sort of where I was last month, but my weight stayed the same the entire time. But when the number starts going down, with your regimen and lifestyle, the pounds will drop quickly. I'm happy you know not to rely on it too much, because you're fitting into old clothes! That's such a sweet feeling! Good for you Kim and don't let the scales sway ya. :)

Hi Kim! Woohoo! Great news on the clothes all fitting better, looser....the scales are obviously not reflecting what is happening with your body. I think mine do the same thing...sit stagnant for awhile and then drop 2 or 3 at one time...but yet, the clothes get looser and my measurements show that I have lost inches.

Have a great day, girl! :)

Hi Kim, glad to see you excited and motivated. and most importantly, staying realistic and not letting some lame number get you down. things are happening, and you know it, and thats what matters. keep it up, and the numbers will catch up soon enough anyways.

Good for your inches lost and your excellent attitude. I only wish I could get into the gym groove again! I'll just keep popping by for some motivation. Guess I'll hit my elliptical later tonight..hopefully.

well i am happy for you for losing those inches. i feel the same way about it as you do. as long as i'm getting smaller that is good :D the pounds will follow eventually lol :D
but it is nice to see those scales move too.
hope you have a great day
Lena

I hate to make my post a repetitve one, but I have to echo what everyone else has said. :) You are doing so well, regardless of the numbers on the scale. It's working for me too; the scale is moving so slowly, but my pants are getting bigger. LOL! Way to go Kim!!

Like with everything else in life, it just comes naturally, so don't be in awe of us, BE IN AWE OF WOMEN in general. We are all awesome.!! :jump: :jump: :jump: TWO THUMBS UP FOR WOMEN!!

Hey there Kim! Thought I would stop by and catch up on things. I would have to agree.. women ARE awesome!! That's a fact for sure! I have been in awe of women ever since I was a young pup, or is that gawk... Hmmm?? LMAO!! Seriously, I never could understand how women could juggle everything and do it so well! Kudo's to all women! You're all great!

Okay, back to you! Glad to hear your workouts are going so well and I am really happy for you! Like Beth, she didn't drop too much weight over a couple week period but she looked and felt so much skinnier! You coud defintely tell but the scales didn't reflect.. weird how that works! Keep it up girl and keep smiling! :D

Take care!

Bruce
