It is so funny to see how
knee-jerk is my move to the scales! Every time I went into the bedroom yesterday, I would automatically look toward or step towards the scales - which weren't there because they're under the bed!

And then I would feel a little disconcerted, because I didn't know how to feel about how I was doing, weight-wise - which is a bit not-funny - but interesting, anyway.
So far this morning I've resisted, but yeah... turning to the scales is really embedded in my habitual behaviour/brain. Noted.
I'm going to keep on with the Big Push till Tuesday - and then I'll join in
But my Stoptober will be trying to
keep at wherever I am on Tuesday morning (unless it's up on the start of September!) rather than another big push just yet, or another goal of so many pounds for the month. I'll be concentrating on the exercise, including balancing, and on self-care and on managing socialising, I think. And maybe on not being too scales-centric.
The footy! No, probably not watching, but following the game in bits throughout - keeping up with the score. I think Paul Kelly and Vika and Linda Bull are
**brilliant**. (Our family team are the Demons.

)
I have to head out and do Saturday morning things now - I'll be back to have a pleasant time reading all the latest here once I've stocked up on tomatoes, etc!
