the weights tonight.. oh man.
I guess I got myself into a rut for the past two weeks. I've been working hard and running like crazy, and ive been getting results, but I just wasn't feeling it like I should ya know. Anyway, tonight was no exception, I left my house thinking "fuck! i need to lift, but I dont wanna" Anyways, I got to the gym. Hit up a few sets. still was thinking "ugh". I went thru my sets of curls, tricep extensions, did crunches and hanging leg raises. I was still not into it. I did my whole forearm workout, curls, reverse curls, etc. my hands were cramped, they didnt wanna close. it was sucky. I always end with a burnout on my bi's and tri's so I was warming up with some 30 lb dumbells and something took over me, i swear. I guess I broke out of my rut. I decided I needed to do down the rack dumbell curls for my burnout. If you don't knwo what they are they go like this.
You start with a weight you can curl 5-8 times, as soon as you can't curl anymore you drop down to the next weight. i.e. 35 lbs to 30 lbs and so on.
the hulk or something took over, i was like fuck this bullshit, im goin all out.
I went from 55 lb dumbells all the way to 5 lb dumbells. My arms were burning so bad at 30 lbs, they wanted to drop but i kept telling myself "you aren't a bitch, get that rep, get another."
I did the same thing on my triceps. My arms are swole haha.
wow, let me tell you, i felt like a champ walkin out of the gym. I'm ready to bust ass for the long haul.
