i wonder what the calories burned per time is. or if different positions make any difference. haha. woo, is my ac on? its gettin hot in here.
 
I bet some positions burn more calories than others, just based on difficulty.
that's where my yoga training comes in handy!

I think around 100/200 calories per hour.
and I mean, who stays for just an hour?

so basically you are saying turn the weekends into heavy duty "cardio".

haha, yeah monday is the start of the new week, ill be hitting the cardio double time this week with my weights. gonna be awesome tho for sure

yeah i fell asleep.

i ran 5 miles this morning, holy shit! i just zoned out watchin cnn on the tv. finally looked at the clock and realized it was 7. woo hoo. bout to take a nap tho for now, i was up a lil late heh.

oh yeah, i forgot today is the day of me and one of my coworkers month weight loss race. here is the first weigh in

so you have a challenge with a coworker? totally cool!

i think it's always great when the challenge is with someone you actually physically interact with on a daily/regular basis....it makes things that much more competitive and makes you want to work harder.

a few weeks before i joined the WLforum i found a long lost acquaintance who also weighs about the same as me and we agreed we'd start on the weight loss journey since we could like join a gym together and push each other on. But the girl went AWOL on my a$$ even before we started...it turns out she was all talk and no action. i mean, i totally understand if she wasn't ready, but at least she could have let me know instead of just leaving me hanging. But it didn't matter anyway because i knew my time had come to do something about it all, so started on my own, which was tough...then i found the WLforum which was just heaven sent and at the right time. it's comforting to know that we're all working towards the same goal you know?

anyway, i'll keep checking in to see who's kicking who's a$$ in the mano-a-mano contest...lol! go team mike!
 
thanks cherry. i will be fun but pointless. i know i will be talking shit to him all day at work everyday hahahaha
 
i miss it. i grew up on mt hood in oregon yo. i lived in wash for a good while as well before making the lifestyle change known as being a texan haha.

i just inputted all of my activities, well major activities including my job, into fitday.

it says i burn 6100 calories a day. im only taking in around 2400. odd.


of course some days my work might be less strenuous than others so i guess that will fluctuate of course.
 
uh cardio today was great, i went crazy. 776 calories burned in 40 mins.

weights today were also nice, my abs are poppin. ugh, but feel great.

was gonna run for about 20 mins afterwards, but i stayed up late so i figured i should slow down and let me get some rest and hit it up tomorrow
