It was a ridiculously long day. The band did great. They worked their asses off. Unfortunatly they didn't place in the competetion. I think they got hosed out of a 3rd place trophy personally. Not just because my kid is in the band either. It was a fun event though. We were all beat when we got home.

That's too bad they got cheated, but 4th is still really good.:jump:

My head hit the pillow a lil after 1:00 am when I got home. Then my phone rang at like 2:30 , a drunk friend of mine. I don't even remember what the call was about . I was out of it.
I swear it wasn't me!! I was sober and babbling to Sheryl late last night..:rotflmao:

I actually did ok with the concession stand food. I had lost .2 lbs this morning when I got up. I mighta blew that today though. :rotflmao:

Talk about happy! The entire state is on cloud nine. Even Tech fans I think :rotflmao: I listened to them on the radio but I'm going to watch the replay tomorrow night on tv.
We're ranked 10th ? Wow! I wouldn't think we would get back to sniffing distance of the top ten again. Thats great!

Oh gawd! That would mean LSU, Oregon, WVA, BC, Okla and about 4 others would have to lose at least one more game. UGA would have to beat LSU for the SEC Champ., and Mich would have to beat OSU to knock them out of 1st place. Still, they'd only have one loss compared to Mich's 2. Ah..but it's a nice dream, isn't it? :rotflmao: Right now I'm just hoping for a BCS bowl...lol--even that seems like a stretch--but ya never know. ;)

And, no it really wasn't me on the phone..lol. If it had been, you would've remembered--I promise...:D
 
Ok, so I started thinking about what it would take for GA and MI to play each other for the NC. As ridiculous as it sounds (especially to anyone who isn't a GA or MI fan..lol), it IS possible (althought not likely). GA is currently #10 and MI #12 in the BCS poll. Here's how the planets would have to align:

#1. Ohio St. would need to lose to Mich and possibly to ILL or Wisc
#2. BC would need to lose to Clemson and preferably one other loss
#3. LSU--GA needs to beat them in the SEC Championship, and a loss to Bama would also cement the deal
#4. Ariz St. needs to beat Oregon and lose to USC
#5. Oregon needs to lose to Ariz. St.
#6. Okla needs to lose to OK St.
#7. WVU needs to lose one of their last 4 games (definite possibility)
#8. Kansas needs to lose to Ok St. or Missouri
#9. Missouri needs to lose to KS st. or Colorado
#10 GA must win all of its remaining games and win the SEC
#11. Va Tech needs to lose one of their last 4 games (but not necessarily)
#12 MI needs to win all of its remaining games (incl. OSU)

So, what do you think the odds are of this occuring? :D

Oh lord! You stayed up entirely too late figuring out all of that :eek::rotflmao:

The odds are NOT in our favor of this working out. BUT, it is in the realm of possibility! I'm more worried Auburn than anybody. They always play UGA hard. I'm not as worried about Kentucky anymore. I can't beleive they lost this past weekend. If the team that played in jax shows up, we could beat LSU for the SEC. It's a tossup tho what we'll get from week to week. This win might be enough to carry them the rest of the season though.
Michigan can beat OSU. I've heard a couple of the so called experts already say that OSU will likely fall to Michigan.

I think there is a very good chance that Mich will beat OSU. In fact, I've been blabbering it all over the ESPN message boards...lol. I love to get the damn *uckeyes on there all riled up. :D I think that as long as both our teams bring their A games to the rest of their reg season games--they can finish 10-2. But OSU is a hell of a team this year. Mich cannot make mistakes against OSU and get away with it like they did in the first half against Minn Saturday. They need to play hard and well all 4 quarters--not just the 2nd half.

These next three weeks will be very interesting.:jump::jump:

Get this, a friend of my Dad called today and offered me his tickets to this weekends UGA game. He's a big booster and has great seats, I've gotten his tickets before. I had to turn him down tho because I got my kids this weekend and he only has 2 seats:
oh well, maybe next time.
