Hey everyone! This really isn't a weight loss journal per say, because I am now down to 129 pounds (I started off at 172) but I still would like to loose a little more weight, I'm 5'2 and am big boned. I want to flatten my stomach and tone my legs just a little bit more, but for right now, I feel absolutly great at the weight i'm at. I'd like to get down to 126-127 before school starts on September 6th. I would just like to post what I have been eating and doing for exercise on here to help me stay on track, and I am totally open for any advice as far as food and exercise go.

Today so far:
Breakfast: 50% less sugar Apples and Cinnamon Quacker Instant Oatmeal, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup vanilla soymilk, 1 cup of coffee with splenda

Lunch: Salmon salad: Leftover salmon, onions, carrot strips, fat free bluecheese dressing on top of lettuce leaves, 1 plum,

Snack: I plan to have 1 cup of fat free popcorn sweetend with a sprinkle of cinnamon, you can actually have 2.5 cups for only 130 calories, but I think 1 cup will be plenty

Dinner: Don't know yet, but I think I will have a south beach diet chicken pizza with 8 medium strawberry's, will report on dinner later

Exercise: Today is actually my day off, but I think I will jog around my neighborhood 2 to 3 times because I won't be able to exercise on Tuesday (family trip) next week I plan to start doing push-ups, crunches, and squats 3 times a week. I also go to Curves for the other 3 times a week.

Welcome!

Welcome aboard! Looks like the key to your wonderful weight loss success (CONGRATS by the way!! ;) ) has been a GREAT PLAN! You've done an exceptional job! How long have you been going to Curves?

Thanks!!

Thanks a bunch Diva!! It's always very motivating to get encouragement like that. I really love the plan that I'm doing because I don't starve myself and I eat absolutly delicious food in the process, and I feel so great about myself, especially when I'm exercising. I've been going to Curves since last October, so almost a year now. I love working out over there, the people are very friendly and encouraging, and I feel so comfortable because I'm around other women who share the same goals with me. I'd rather go there then a regular gym anyday. Again thanks so much for the encouragement and compliments :)

Way to go! You're at my ultimate goal weight right now, I'd love to see before and after pics if you're willing...I'm large boned too, and it would give me an extra boost to see what I will look like by this time next year!:)

I wish I could post before and after pictures of me, but unfortunitly I can't post pictures on the internet. I'm just in here to report that I did in fact have that south beach diet pizza and 8 medium strawberry's for dinner, and plus a low carb breyers ice cream bar for desert (170 cal.) I chose not to exercise today because of my own lazy self, but plan to get back on it tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great night.

Hey everyone, just comin in to report my food and exercise for the day..

Breakfast: 50% less sugar Apples and Cinnamon Quacker Instant Oatmeal, 2 watermelon slices
Lunch: Went out to eat with mum, had some salad with a little bit of chopped egg and carrots and no more than a tablespoon of italian dressing, some rice (don't know what kind it was, I think basmati) and a little bowl of Asian soup (broth, noodles, hot sauce) it was all small portions so I think I did fine
Dinner: 6 inch Sweet Onion Teriaki sub from Subway (from the 6 grams of fat or less menu) 1/4 cup of blueberries, drank water all day long (as I do everyday)
Exercise: Went to Curves. It turns out that we will have to do our family trip either on Wednesday or Thursday because I have my school orientation tomorrow (can't miss that) so I'll be able to go to Curves 3 times this week then start running and doing my crunches and push ups and squats starting either Thursday or Friday, so it's all good. Im gonna have to exercise my butt off these past few days (gonna be indulging on our trip) since it's a one time deal I don't think I'll feel to guilty LOL. I hope everyone is having a great evening!

(By the way has anyone heard of this fairly new musician named James Blunt?? I just got his debut CD today and it is AMAZING!!! I really like this guy!)

Once again....

Once again a GREAT plan! Keep up the great work!

Yes, I like his song "Beautiful" ;)

Have a great time on your trip!

Thanks DivaMommy :) My progress so far...

Breakfast: 3/4 cup of honey nut cheerios, 2 watermelon slices, 1 cup of coffee with splenda

I usually don't have a mid morning snack, but I'm going to go to my school orientation at 11:30 and then going to go to Curves after that so I won't be having lunch for awhile. Will report on the rest of the day later :) Have a good day everyone.

Lunch: 1 turkey sandwhich w/ 100% whole wheat bread, Hormel Natural Choice meat, lettuce, onion, mustard, 1 plum,= 300 cal

YAYYYY I just got back from Curves. For some reason I really didn't want to go today (sometimes I just have those days) but I did it anyway!!!! I ended up having a 100 calorie Balance Energy Bar for a snack instead of an apple, it was really good! And it really gives me an extra *umph* hehe, hope everyone is having a great day.

Dinner: 1 lean cuisine chicken tuscan pasta, salad with onions, carrots, and south beach diet ranch dressing

Man I sure hope that I don't overinduldge to much when we go on our family day trip on Friday, wish me luck! :)

GOOD LUCK family get togthers in my family are hell, so i wish you all the best, and stay away from gramas who overstuff ya:p !!!!

hey michelle, thanks for stopping by my journal.

Wow, congrats on your success so far, it's always great to hear of people who've managed to get rid of their extra bagged... the physical variety of course ;) (emotional baggage is another story lol)

Thanks Mike!!! I appreciate your reply, yeah I feel really great so far! I just have ot keep it up!

My progress so far:

Breakfast: 1 cup Banana Nut Crunch cereal w/ vanilla soymilk, 1 cup of coffee w/ Sweet N'Low=280 cal
Lunch: Smart Ones Angel Hair Pasta, 1 medium green apple=280 cal
Snack: 1 medium banana=110 cal

Exercise: None today. Today is usually my running day but I actually decided to give up running because I want to try out this new work out I saw in a magazine, it looks like it could really benefit me. I wouldn't be able to run anymore in a month anyway because of the weather turning (I hate running in the cold, it hurts my lungs) and I know I wouldn't have time because of school and homework and my responsibilities at home, and this work out takes only 1 half hour and I can do it absolutly anywhere, so I'll still be doing something. I'm going to start doing this after our family trip tomorrow, so it'll be Saturday. I know I'll need to burn off all the calories I'm gonna be taking in tomorrow, LOL. Have a great evening everyone.

Thanks hillbillylee!! It sounds like your doing excellent on your weight loss as well! Just comin in to report dinner everyone:

Dinner: 6 inch roast beef sub w/ mustard, lettuce, red onions, and pickles (from Subway) Can you guys tell that I absolutly LOVE Subway? :)

Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop in real fast before my family and I leave on our trip. I'm really really exited! We were going to stop for breakfast when we got to where we were going (We leave at about 10:25, but I figured it was a better idea for me to eat a little breakfast this morning so I'm not tempted to overinduldge at (second breakfast) and at dinner. I'm really going to try to be as good as I can with my food intake because it's gotten to the point where I don't even like overindulging anymore (is that weird?? hehe)

Breakfast so far: 3/4 cup of Organic Oatmeal Flakes w/vanilla soymilk and 1 cup of coffee with sweet N'Low-110 cal
