So since I've been going to the gym, I pack a cooler the night before of my post workout snacks. Depending on what type of training I'm doing for the day, I try to pack a protein rich snack: 1c 1% cottage cheese with sliced fresh fruit, Sheryl's Ghetto Banana Burrito, Wellements Bavarian Chocolate Whey Protein Powder w/ 1c 1% milk. After leaving the gym I have a tendency to run errands directly after. Instead of starving for a couple hours or buying something to eat that's shitty, it's nice having it on hand.
Today was a good day. I ended up doing a bit of cardio, then worked on my back, shoulders, and biceps. Alexis was there once again to watch over me and to give me pointers. She was cute. She told me that she really thought I was funny and was wondering if I was interested in hanging out some time. I'll definitely take her up on the offer, because I don't know anyone around Binghamton and well, it's nice having a female friend who is a personal trainer. Wohooo! (And if she's a lesbo, then yehaw for me on Temporary Lesbian Days! hahaaaaa jk)
So enough BS.... off to today's accomplishments.
Workouts:
- Turbo Jam (20 min)
- Elliptical Trainer Level 12, IT (5 min warm up, 40 min, 5 min cooldown)
- Weight training: Back, Shoulders, and Biceps (machines and free weights) (40 mins)
- 2 hours of awesome, "holy moly I'm wearing ankles for earrings" kind of sex
Meals:
Breakfast:
- Alaskan salmon locks (not farm raised) with low fat cream cheese on a whole grain Thomas Bagel
- nectarine
Post Workout Snack:
- Wellements Bavarian Chocolate Whey Protein Powder in 1c 1% milk (250 cal)
Snack: (ate while running errands, 2.5 hrs after protein shake)
- container of 1/2c 1% cottage cheese with fresh pineapple and grapes (270 cal)
Lunch:
- 93% lean ground beef hamburger patty on a hamburger bun with tomatoes, red onions and mustard
- sauteed zucchini slices, green beans and portabella mushrooms
- leftover red beans and rice (510 cal)
Snack: (Sean came home fiending ice cream)
- 1 small sugar free/ fat free chocolate soft serve (cone not eaten)
(200 cal)
Pre dinner snack:
- english muffin with 1tb peanut butter (195 cal)
Dinner:
- whole wheat pasta with chicken breast and homemade tomato basil sauce
(305 cal)
Total Calories: 2,195 cal (1990-2340)
President's Challenge Pts Earned: 1,233 pts
Notes: I snacked like hell today, but it's alright. I stayed within my calorie range. I went to the mall earlier this morning and for the first time, I was able to choose a few pairs of jeans and tops and actually fit them. I was doing my infamous ghetto booty dance in the changing room when I got my ass (and no, it wasn't "muffin toppin' " or anything.. haha) into a pair of 11/12 size jeans in one of those Charlotte Russe type of stores. It was huge accomplishment for me! WOOHOOOO! Tomorrow I'll hit that Arc Trainer and hit the weights for chest, triceps, and abs. Goodnight, everyone....
