Today I have eaten 2 dohnuts.

I just couldn't help myself.

Not the start I had hoped for :rolleyes:

Anyhow, I currently weight 89.2 Kilos (196 Lbs) and want to get down to about 78 Kilos (171 Lbs)

I have given myself a target of 12 weeks to achieve this in, meaning a loss of about 2 Lbs a week. I have been told this is realistic and achievable but would need me cutting out foods that are just empty calories and also exercising a lot more.

This will be the first time I have ever had to diet so to speak.

Any advice would be most welcome :)
 
2lbs a week is very realistic and doable. The only things I can advise is to eat less and exercise more, yet still making sure you get enough calories. Drink lots of water and maybe you should try keeping track of what you eat and stay on these forums for motivation if you need it. :)

This week has gone very badly indeed.

Although i have worked out 3 times this week (40 mins weights/30 mins cardio per session) I have done nothing but eat.

Unfortunately it is christmas and there are too many goodies to snack on. Not only that, there have been special events and christmas parties etc and resisting has just been too much.

I have to put and end to this.

No doubt I've actually put on weight.

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Just don't forget your protein!

Don't worry too much about this week with the holidays. Everybody had problems. It'll be ok. Just move past the "bad" week and keep going.

I've been a bit naughty and not recorded the past few days, but I am glad to say that over last week I lost about 3 lbs, so progress is being made.

I definitely better, but still don't feel great.

I think in order to feel great I need to go on a nice two week holiday somewhere hot by the sea.

That'd do the trick :cool:
 
Oh is that what's making me feel good? :confused: I thought it was controlling my eating that was doing it!! :D
