Weight-Loss May - June 20 Weight Loss Challenge: How Much Can You Lose by Start of Summer?

is it to late to join??

I would like to join. I am ordering turbo jam and think that I need something to make me do the workout everyday. I weigh 249 and my goal for the end of June is 239 lbs but my ultimate goal is 125lbs ( I know I have a long way to go). I have never posted in a forum before so I am new to what information is needed, please let me know if I need to do anything else. :)

Ok, this morning I was 129. I feel really cappy.. ususally when I try this hard I get better results but I am not going to give up. I went to Loheman's today and tried on jeans... YUCK. I didn't buy any, and told myself I'd go back and get 2 pairs of fancy jeans on sale when I reach my goal -- which I hope to do before July 1st.

At your weight, 2 lbs in a week is very good! Remember, no such thing as a bad loss. Only reason some of us lose weight twice as fast, is we weigh twice as much and have alot more to lose :)
 
*sniffles* There has been no change in weight this past week. My current weight still remains at 195. That's ok though. I've kicked up my cardio a notch. I should see a difference on the scale at next weigh-in.
 
Thats ok people, remember, you WILL NOT lose weight every week! Don't give up! It happens in cycles.

I had another good week myself. ( Secret: I sold my crappy car two weeks ago, now my primary mode of transportation is my own two feet :eek: )
 
Hey have good news, got back on the scale later today after a rest room break and ta da, 137!:p made me feel better in more ways than one, hahahaha.
 
Sorry I didn't post my weight yesterday, but it was 124. WHOO HOO!!! Two pounds down from this past week. That means I have 9 pounds to go. I can't wait until next week's weigh-in. How's everyone else doing?

ah well... least i didn't gain. i was horrible this week...
pizza 3 times. plus a sushi buffet dinner for mother's day. ~___~;;
salad for me all next week!

Thats exactly true! Sometimes I go a week or two with seemingly little or no weight loss, but yet my belt will tighten more than it did the week before. Its sort of like your body is making adjustments for previous weight loss, and once it does this you may have another huge unexpected burst of weight loss much like I've had the past couple weeks. One thing I like about this challenge is, its long enough so that as long as everyone understands that weight loss is a cycle full of success and failure and don't get discouraged, EVERYONE here can lose weight for summer! Great job to all whether you've lost lbs yet or not!

If anyone notices any errors in their weights on the 1st page, please let me know, theres so many participants now that I'm starting to lose track sometimes :)
 
Ughh wheigh in is 177 same as last week, but I was sick as a dog for 3 days last week, so I didnt do my regular exersize routine, oh well next week will be better :) (provided I dont get sick again:p )

You and me both roadrunnerrita!! I'm going to the beach on July 15 for sure with my whole family so I'm going to get my body as ready as I can for that trip! I have only 9 lbs. to go - possibly less since I haven't weighed in a couple of days.
