I need to join the challenge so I can step up my game. Shew! My current weight is (as of last weigh in....1 week ago) 199. I will weigh myself in the morning and repost. My goal for mid summer is 170 lbs.
 
Ok...I weighed myself this morning and I'm weighing in at 195. YAY! HAHA!
That's not too bad considering I've been traveling and not in the gym that much in the past week.
This challenge is going to keep me VERY motivated!

I just want to encourage everyone by reminding you all that you ARE NOT going to lose weigh every week. Weight loss happens in cycles. Sometimes one week a huge loss, then none the next or even gaining a lb, seemingly for no apparent reason. This week I had a big loss that almost reached my goal, so I expect to lose very little if any over the next week. Don't be shy to post your weigh in just because you're disappointed with your results, because they WILL be inconsistent. Its just how it works!

So far as a group, everyone is doing great!
 
Current Weight: 161 (YIKES)
Summer Goal: *thats june 21st right? :)* 141
Ultimate Goal: 125-130 with either I will be happy!!
 
I'd like to participate in this challenge.:)

My current weight is 190, I'd like to lose 15 pounds by summer.
 
I would love to join if it isn't too late. I am at 138 right now :mad: up from my 135 (was so excited!). I want to be at least 128 by the time this challenge ends.
 
If it isn't too late, I would love to join in as well.... I'm 209 as of today....my realistic goal is 199 by June 15.... seems very feasible to me. I have to set myself mine goals, otherwise, the 34 lbs I need to lose seems overwhelming!!!
 
I'd like to be a part of this challenge as well. I am currently 272 lbs and I would like to loose 12 lbs by the 30th which would bring me to 250 lbs.

Thanks for adding me! I am very excited now I have something to kick my booty in gear! I did 50 squats, 15 reverse lunges, 30 sit-ups and 8 side holds, 8 push ups and 8 reverse push ups. I am excited. I know it isn't not nearly enough to off set what I ate today but hopefully it helps out!
 
Thats some great effort Mesh! I haven't myself so lifted a finger as far as exercise besides walking. I'm ready to tho, I am approaching my lowest weight summer in 2 years!
 
Ok, my goal is 196 and I have lost another lb. so here is my new ticker. I accidently erased my summer one and I'm not in the mood to make a new one. So, I'm checking in.
 
What day is the weigh-in for the summer weight loss challenge?

ps- yesterday was bad.. my roommate and I had an impromptu dinner party and she is a fabulous cook- ate about 2200 calories. Today has been pretty good, I'm done with dinner and at 1500. Didn't work out today, but I am going to study tonight and work out tomorrow. Sometimes I think "maybe if I study more my brain will burn enough calories to lose weight". too bad I eat too much to make up for it.
 
The weigh in day is tuesday, give or take a day for your convenience. Between monday and wednesday, weekly.

2200 is not bad for one day. Just consider it your splurge day for the week. I often consume over 2000 in day when I'm active. Then if I'm home doing nothing not working or anything, I'll have well under 1000.
