Yeah, i'm disappointed as well but really how well did we expect them to do? No Garnett, no Powe and they just weren't the same team as last year. With that said, they still should have beat Orlando. I dont see anyone beating the Cavs this year.

I had a kick ass workout yesterday and it felt great. I did full chinups. All the way up and down. I used to have to cheat and go half-way down but I can now do three full. That felt great. My amounts of weight is increasing which is a good sign. Back to the gym today for cardio. Havent decided if i want to do 40 minutes on the stair climber or elliptical.

I had a great 35 minute workout on the elliptical machine yesterday and it felt great. Ever since i started watching this video podcast about Mt Everest the time flies right by. They just got advanced base camp and are doing the acclimation thing. Highly recommend this podcast to anyone.

I hit the weights today. I love weight days.

Also, tonight starts three days of recitals for my 4 y/o. Can anyone say proud papa? I really dont know what to expect, she could get on stage and get the deer in the headlights look and freeze up. I wouldnt care if that happens. She has done an amazing job all year long and anything that happens will not change that. She really enjoys it so that is all that matters.

you will LOVE watching her in the recital...my kids did skating (ice shows) with me growing up and we are now doing them together as adults..I am still as proud as the day they stepped on the ice.

I gained 4 ounces Matt...should i be mad at myself (;-) LOLOLOL...just one of those things i guess

Way to go on the chinups! I can't wait until I have enough upper body strength to even try one. I'm kind of surprised by how weak my biceps are, or maybe that's normal in women? I don't want to be the incredible hulk or anything, but I shouldn't be struggling doing 12 pound curls.

Pretty standard low carb, only fat is a little more controlled as well

How below maintenance are you?

for my numbers, being a pretty active guy, im about 1500 below maintenance during the short cutting period

How long does it last?

its a 7 day cycle, repeat a max of 6-8 times before a 2 week maintenace break.

Are you hungry on this diet?
Im hungry on every diet... well because typically i cut 1000-2000 calories a day

but its basically only 3 and half days of hunger, and the rest is pretty much maintenance, maybe even slightly above for 2 days.


I love it because,

I get to lift heavy
Its only a rough 3.5 days
it will help me keep muscle.

it has structured variety

This is why i prefer it over the rapid fat loss program (which I also bought) You know its only 3.5 days of harsh shit before you get a break... eat a house full of bagels, and still lose weight!

as far as being advanced.... the hardest part i can imagine would be for most would be the accuracy requirements for good results. I'm an avid food scale/fitday user so im used to setting up ratios and sticking to them.

if you use fitday and a scale thats advanced enough. I'd say RFL is way more advance because you are hella hungry.

example day for me

27 oz turkey breast
293g chicken breast
2 pieces of string cheese
250g broccolli

coulda had a few more carbs... but im pretty hard core.

it was all pretty much like that, maybe more chicken breast on other days.

but broccoli is the magic food :)

yeah... my monitor says im about 15... but i seen some guys at supposed 15 i think i might be higher. im pretty lean in most places except the abdomen. i figured hell id try it.

i went from 177 to 167 and then back to 171 after the carb up.

Something about partioning in individuals with more fat may be an issue. I think i did ok. I'll see whats up after this next cycle.

If not Then i guess im gonna do RFL.

What does that come out calories wise? That is one crazy diet. I could never eat like that. I need more variety. I'm sure all days aren't like that. Glad to see it is working for you. Keep it up.
