Weight for 7/23/2023: 292.2

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs (260 cal.), 5 Strips of Bacon (250 cal.), 1 English Muffin w/Butter (200 cal.), 1 side of Home Fries (120 cal.),
6 cups of Coffee (100 cal.), 1 cup of Lite Orange Juice (50 cal.)

Lunch/Dinner: 5 Slices of Pepperoni Pizza (1250 cal.), 6 Pieces of Garlic Bread (600 cal.) , 2 Cherry Cokes (400 cal.) from Cici's Pizza.

Drinks: 3 Waters.

Exercise: 40 minutes of Walking

I went to Cici's since I haven't been there in a while. I ate a lot but not too much. I also did a little cleaning unfortunately I have ants. I hear spraying vinegar works and I tried that which worked fairly well.

I ate a little too much though I had quite a bit of veggies which is good. Tobi had her nails trimmed so she wasn't too happy about that.

I did okay but I had a little too much vending machine food. I was going to walk more, but with this heatwave it was very difficult.

I ate a lot of junk today and unfortunately I was doing okay until the end when I decided to get some doughnuts after I had some beers.

I don't know why but I had a major sweet tooth the last few days. I was doing well most of Saturday then got a major craving for cake.

Lunch: 1 Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese (800 cal.), 1 Large Order of Fries (500 cal.), 1 Large Dr. Pepper (300 cal.) from McDonalds

Dinner: 1 Plate of Nachos (Tortilla Chips, Swiss Cheese, Sour Cream, Black bean Refried Beans., Guacamole and Picante Sauce, 710 cal.)

Snack: 2 Servings of Tortilla Chips (280 cal.)

Drinks: 2 cans of Pepsi Zero, 1 cup of Water.

Exercise: NA

I didn't eat as much as usual, but what I had wasn't the best. I was going to make something with the ground beef I bought, but it was late and I made a plate of Nachos which probably wasn't the best thing, though at least I didn't eat until I was stuffed.

Also while I didn't do any walking I did clean the bathroom which I think counts as a little exercise.
 
I know those cravy days all too well, unfortunately. They always end in regret.

Well it was funny, I actually made the short trek to Wal Mart to buy 2 pieces of cake, and as I was walking around I didn't think of it as much so I thought of it as a learning moment. Next time Ill try to do something to get my mind off of it.
 
I need to be more careful because Saturday I cut my finger while cutting potatoes to make home fries. Not bad enough to get stitches but still a nasty cut. I'm debating on getting a food dicer.
 
Matt, do you keep fruit at home? Fruit satisfies my sweets cravings usually & I don't feel right unless I have fruit at least twice a day.
Be careful what type of food dicer you get. They can be scary sharp, especially mandoline slicers. I gave ours away.

I have some fruit, but what's weird is it doesn't really satisfy my sweets cravings.

Sorry for the delay in posting its been a busy week. My dads car broke down again, which meant I had to pick him up then take him back home after we dropped the car off at the shop. Tuesday we had to go to his financial planner because he wanted to add me to his accounts in case anything happens to him.

Also I ran out of medication because for some reason the pharmacy never got my prescription. Tuesday I was tired and fell asleep around 10.

I did okay until dinner time when I had to drive my dad to the car place and stopped by McDonalds. I also was able to get my prescription. I still went without it for a day in a half.

With me that usually means one of two things: either I bought fruit that wasn't properly ripe or I've been eating/drinking so much of the artificially oversweetened stuff (doesn't matter if it's sugar or sweetener) that the real deal doesn't satisfy anymore. Thanks for reminding me of that!

Oh, I just remembered there's a third option: fruit contains little to no fat so it doesn't make me feel like I'm pigging out. And sometimes that's a negative 🙈

I went to a meetup and had 2 beers. Like last time I was doing okay then I had the doughnuts on the way home. It could be effect of the alcohol.
