Mass + strength - the mass?

Once you have reached the desired size threw weight training for optimum size gains and change to strength training for strength at like the 4-6 rep range would you lose the muscle from the mass training you did? or would you have a higher possibility for better strength because of the mass you have developed in your body and keep the muscle as long as you where do some kind of training other then like just high cardio? Is it also posible to stay cut but while strength training and still gaining strength?

you wouldn't lose the mass, no.
and I'd rather say strenght training at like 1-3 reps (atleast for the big lifts).
Now you will gain muscle with any rep range if you eat a surplus, so I assume you really just mean changing the main goal.
 
If you have been doing a certain rep range for a long time, changing up the rep range for strength could really shock your body and possibly result in big mass gains for a while until it gets used to it again.
