Maryann's trail....Rotation Diet "version"....

Hi all - Pants try- some success ! 1 pair capris, 3 pair shorts, 2 pairs jeans, 3 pair dress pants - all too snug last time I tried them on....now fit !

Yay!! I love having my skinny (er) clothes fit!! I also just tried on a few things and I can now fit into all the clothes I bought when I was at my lightest last time!! Feels so good and very motivating, cause now I want all those clothes to become too loose!
 
Hi all - Busy Monday for me...

yay loose clothes ! may we all be blessed with some !! ( I like your thinking MR) ( it sure was nice trying mine on & actually getting into some of the next size....yee ha. )


....day-off work today ( stat) - but spent all day working on pharmacist stuff - ( an application for an enhanced level certification -I've been working on it in bits for months now- just want to get the darn thing done..)...most of it is done now ! yay! but spent most of my day on butt - typing and reading.- will need just another hour or so to finish up .(hopefully tomorrow).

Calories today - good - 1,480 - budget is 1,600 - so have room for a little fruit snack.

exercise - eeek -none yet - going to hit the treadmill for 1/2hr before bed....that's just life today-just didn't have time.

Love the picture of the pants, and happy that your old "new" pants are starting to fit again! Congratulations on pulling out the smaller sizes! It is very rewarding to do that!

Hi all - Happy Tues ( although it feels like a Monday to me ( yesterday was stat off work-lieu of Remembrance day).


Back on track today - did my noon walk -30mins.exercise

calorie budget today: 1,200 ( lower cal day )

- low-cal day "hungries" kicking in - having a cup of mint-tea & a snack of snap-pea pods & greek yogurt dip -

calories planned for today: 1,165 ....so will make within budget. ( will just keep the cups of tea rolling if I get hungry again)....

AHey Maryann, looks like you're having a good week! Hope the weather is cooperating and letting you get outside some for exercise! Don't you just love a good outside walk after hitting the treadmill? I do! I have caught a cold here, so I tried to run it out this morning on the treadmill..I don't think it worked, but I did feel better...just still stuffed up...not the way I like to travel, but not much choice.
Looking forward to more of your fun pictures!

Hi all, Happy Thursday !


got busy last nite - so no evening treadmill ( I was working on marking/feedback on assignments on the moderator work I'm doing - interesting stuff- but had a deadline-needed to get it done)-so was too late for treadmill by time the work was wrapped up.


so yesterday - Exercise -

got in my 1/2hr noon walk (* yes - I do love walking outside in the fresh air Sarah - I far prefer it over the indoor treadmill )(it was milder - around 0 - I really enjoyed it.)(but no treadmill)

food - total calories I had were 1,235

( budget was 1,600) - so was under a fair amount - had a lite bite intending to eat full supper later & just got distracted and forgot -( I rarely, almost never forget to eat - so that was odd....)


this morning - down 1 pound ! ....go figure - didn't expect it - as have been getting only 30mins. /not 60 for exercise daily this wee... nice suprise .

~ I will be sure to get in the higher-calorie total today ( 1,600cal budget) (as too many days low cal might give me the dreaded slow metabolism -set in "starvation" mode - I want to avoid that).

Congratulations on the 1 pound down..you are coming right on down!! You are so right...get some calories today so that you don't screw up your metabolism...you want your body to work for you, not against you! Good job on the exercise...it's consistency...that's the key!


I will be traveling this weekend and next week, so won't be on much...just know we're thinking about you and cheering you on!

this weekend -going out both Sat & Sun ( Sat with friends, Sunday is my brother's 50th Bday )- so lots of "challenge" food/booze wise...but I will focus on "healthY" - stick to nothing fried, no sweets-Except for BDay cake - 1 slice... ( I find allowing myself a "treat" for important events- I feel less deprived, and am happier to stick to "good" the rest of time.

Hey all - Happy Saturday - ..Treadmill 1/2 hr done. , now some housework...


Going to check out the menu on-line for the restaurant tonite -make a strategic plan for my dinner out - with reasonable calories.

Hey MR - thx for the moral-support for eating out...I sure will need it !


...I checked the menu- personal size 6" thin-crust marguerita ( plain-just bit cheese&basil) pizza is around 600cals+ small green salad/ ital.drss on side100 =~700 ....



my breakkie today- 300 & lunch is around 400 ...so will be around 1,400 for the day - not too bad.


( might even treat myself on a couple handfuls "shared" popcorn at the movie...

- but need to be careful to keep it to only 2 handfuls max. -(theatre popcorn notorious for cals- we usually get no butter anyway...hmm...maybe I'll bring along a little paper-lunch bag - 1/2 fill it & when it's empty- I am done...portion controll...that's a good idea - I will go grab one from the kitchen now..)

Hi folks, Monday ( ....I'm tired.....)



thanks Cate & Mystic for the support - the weekend went ok ( & I checked-out your veggie garden pics Cate - oooohhh- lovely...& the view at your place is just gorgeous- I want to retire there...! )


- my supper-out/movie nite - ended up having walnut-harvest salad & tomotoe soup (around same cals as 6"pizza+green salad),(I felt more like salad- and salad was less fat/less carb than the 6"pizza.), my popcorn plan worked - had my "personal little bag" & then was done.

- Sunday was easier - home-made meal (not restaurant)- my sis-in-law made ham/potatotes/2 salads...I kept to smaller servings & filled up with the salads, BDay cake - she had 2 - one was chocolate, but the 2nd was a fruit trifle - so I had a bit of the fruit trifle - did not taste very sweet & had lots of berries....


I am up 1 lb. this morning...but am hoping it is mostly water weight from weekend eating out ( ham-salty, popcorn-salty).... plan today for my noon walk, treadmill, and healthy eats....

Eeeek - fell "off" track a bit today-

well, day started off pretty good - did my noon 1/2hr walk , breakfast & lunch calories - good - 235/545....


..but then - went into city ( had errands/meeting)- got hungry - got a sandwhich at drive-thru ( 560cals).... still not too terrible - (didn't have any fries or a doughnut.... )


...but then- ran into old friend...she suggested grabbing supper & a visit - didn't have heart to say no ( or tell her I'd already had my calories for the day)....


...so...chinese food - 3 spring rolls , rice, curry shrimp, chow-mein.... and...my day total is around 2,300..... (haven't felt this full in many months.... )


( I checked on the IBM weight simulator - my maintenance calories for my age/current weight is 2,500......so , guess it could be worse...not a loss-day...but not over maint.cals for me either...so I blew 0.3/lb potential loss today...not a major deal in the big-picture of my life...


...in the big-picture of things - I think it was the right choice for me...she is an old dear friend, meant a lot to her for us to have the visit - would have been a "distraction" to our visit to impose my diet choices on our supper ....today I chose to pick People as my priority - over my own weight journey- But it was My concious Choice ...I took an evening off- ...but didn't feel guilty - as my "indulge" was my choice - with intention - in support and comfort and companionship of an old dear friend - friendship counted more than calories tonite.......

and tomorrow- back to 3 checkmarks -

.... & on the bright-side - my metabolism got a real- good boost today ! ....

I did well today but I have had worse days than you in the last few weeks!! As long as you get right back on track, no harm no foul!
