Hello everyone! It has been forever since I have been on here. Just reading some of the posts. Sorry to see that 1fatmomma has decided to end her time here. I was going to tell her that I don't even want to try to modify the calories in my rotation. I have been "experimenting" with some things. Since I work the graveyard shift, it is hard for me to have the three meals at traditional hours. I have tried eating breakfast when I got up from sleeping, then having lunch before I go to work, then dinner on my lunch break. I have tried eating breakfast at my lunch break, lunch when i get up and then dinner before I go to work....but sometimes I don't get up till six in the pm and then if I eat lunch when I get up, then I am eating dinner right before I go to work at 11pm. Seems like that doesn't work for me. Maybe I should have breakfast when I get home from work, lunch when I get up from sleeping, and then dinner on my lunch at work...But then I would have to eat my safe fruit while working....my brain is tired! That is what I am having a hard time with. I made it through a week of a rotation then "life" got the best of me. I have gone to Zumba at my local club and LOVED it! They do "black light" Zumba where they put up black lights everywhere and blacked out the windows...very neat! Plus there is just enough "light" to see where you are going. If you wear a white shirt, you shine in the dark!
I love the Rotation Diet and need to make it a PRIORITY!!! That is all there is too it..I was feeling pretty good. I was noticing the other day when I was hugging my son, he is getting a little chunky. If I fix the same thing for both of us, he can eat what I eat but modify it to his liking with more vegetables or chicken. But we would both be eating healthier! I have made the chicken divan from the recipie section and it DIVINE! and to think the sauce is made with yogurt! I also need to PRIORITIZE the fact I need to come on here everyday and share with you all my results. That is what makes a support group great. If no one responds, that is o.k because at least I will keep myself grounded as to my goals.
I like adding seasonings to my veggies...I try different spices I have in my cupboard and if I see one at the store that might look good, I will buy it to try. I still like my veggies steamed and have tried the Steamers in the frozen food section. Not too shabby...especially when fresh produce is out of season.
Well, I am off to bed this morning. Looking forward to starting up a new rotation, one where I can stick with it. If anyone has any suggestions on when I should eat, that would be great! Still trying to find a "schedule" that will work for me....
Thanks in advance for the support and suggestions!
