update 19th december 2009
finally under 60kgs woohoo!!

59.8kgs/131.83lbs

update 27 jan 2010

56kgs/123.5lbs

a regular week for me now basically is 7 hours working out minimum. usually though, 2 hours monday, 2 hours tue, 1 hour wed, 1 hour thurs, 1 hour friday, 1 hour saturday

obviously always eating healthy, my chopped vegies and egg whites for breakfast and lunch
snack is fruit and diet jelly
dinner is fruit and jelly and diet yoghurt
plus 2 protein shakes per day (at only 114 cals each not too bad) and so incredibly yummy, just add a bit of ice in and voila!
i drink a lottttttttt of green tea, decaf (grrrr addicted or wat, its insane)
and have had to cut back on water as i got fairly crook wat with cutting out protein and drinking far too much water (i saw a doctor and she told me i desperately needed protein and
to cut back from 8 litres of water a day to 3 max), and yes i also went and bought a stack of protein shakes
i average about 1630 calories a day and eat exactly the same thing ever day
but i wouldn't have it any other way, i never ever get bored with my eating routine (refuse to use the word diet anymore, this won't ever be something i'll 'go off of').

i think thats about it!!

PHWOAR took me a long time to weigh up the pro s and con s of posting those. ok, i'm just doing a detailed 'outline' of my circumstances. will post shortly.

WOW! You look amazing! You are my new inspiration. I have a similar shape of stomach to your before one and you give me hope that I can actually shrink it. Incredible, incredible, incredible! I can't wait to read how you did it!

well to begin with - always sounds silly when i say it - i bought a treadmill and became 'intimate' with it. hahaha. sorry. but seriously - it became a big part of my life.
i have it in my room next to my bed - so no excuses ever.
i wasn't really confident enough to go walking outside.
so i started on the treadmill - obviously eating healthy. i was never really that good with portion control. i'm still not though, thats always going to be my downfall :( but i figure if its just a plate full of vegies that can't be AS bad.

so the treadmill - started 4 hours a week, approx 6 kms a day.
from mar 08 - june 09, i wasn't seeing really wonderful results so it was a fairly laid back exercise regime. ie - nowhere near enough to burn off wat i was eating.

to be honest, i lost 10 kgs in sep 08 thru stress. my appetite disappeared, i kept exercising as normal, ate as much protein as i could when i could actually stomach a meal.

i regained my appetite after that month and stuck with the 4-5 hours on the treadmill. basically i maintained. nothing special.

then in june of this year my appetite disappeared again - but only for a short period. that loss of a few more kilos - probably about 8kgs, was the boost i needed.

i started to up the treadmill usage to 2 hours a day when i could manage (weekdays that is), so approx 7 hours a week. i upped the speed, so maybe 7 kms per hour that i was on there.

gradually, over the last few months, i've ditched the treadmill. i invested in some workout dvds - mainly biggest loser ones. now i've got them all. depending on my recovery time from the weekend, i'll do 2 hours minimum a day 5 days a week. if i can manage on a saturday morning i will too. from cardio to weight training at home.

as of last night - i ran/jogged for an hour non stop. then again this morning.

it has taken me since june, but i am officially fit. this is what i'm doing this all for now. for my health, fitness and strength. and i look forward to my run every single minute of the day.

eating wise - i'm very regulated. breakfast currently is scrambled eggs, no milk, with tomato and onion.

throughout the day i monitor everything fairly closely - basically 4 apples, a banana, approx 300g weight watchers yoghurt, a milo, a coffee, a coke zero.

then dinner is a lean cuisine with frozen vegies added.

thats weekdays - on weekends it always varies but i never have anything other than subway.

all up i would on average consume approx 1400-1500 calories on a working day.

i've still got about 5kgs/11bs to lose. i'm 167cm high, which is approx just under 5 foot 6??

i drink a lottttttttttt of water, too much i think, trying to cut back as i think its flushing out everything. was averaging about 9-10litres a day so cutting back to about 6 or 5 if i can at the moment.

so basically, for me it was getting fairly obsessive about exercise, but i'm the sort of person that thrashes things - but now that i'm doing it with exercise and fitness i cannot complain!!!

You are gorgeous and you skin is beautiful. Awesome job on your success. I do have a question since I'm starting out around the weight and have a similar goal, do you have any problems with saggy skin or did it snap back?

hahah now this is quite embarrassing to post
i was going to do full length
i'm keeping them on file
but not sure if i'm quite ready yet hahaha

so i've been paying a LOT of attention to core exercises in the last couple of weeks - now i struggle to a core workout that i find difficult. its definitely my favourite.

so this is my tummy now

[img=http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/2536/randomi.jpg]

thats me pressing on it with no tensing.
i love working on my abs and tummy. no matter if i've just done a 2 hour workout i always set aside at least 15 minutes of crunches non stop.

in short - lunges can bring me to my knees no matter wat, but i'll do crunches til the cows come home, which i'm guessing would be the same for most.

You look awesome girlie!! seriously great work. I weigh 75kgs but I'm nothing like you look at 75. I'm 5ft.3" and I need to get down to 50 kgs. I started off at 79kgs. Good luck on loosing the last 5kgs. May the force be with you. lol.

thanks so much you lot, i really hope i can provide a bit of thinspiration to those who don't have AS much to lose. and i have quite an active social life, what with drinking, which can set one back a lot.

and i also smoke sigh. i know if i really really wont to get serious about my fitness -i've got to quit that...

Yeah, I have lost a little weight and have kept up a healthy lifestyle - but as with you the drinking kinda puts a damper on that! I know it's not healthy to drink to tipsyness (or beyond) but I just can't give it up when everyone else is doing it! I do love my wine lol

its so depressing sometimes to think how much better i would have done if i'd kicked booze a long time ago. if i have a big saturday night, i'm usually too tired to work out til monday night. if i don't drink saturday night, i will work out sunday night, monday morning and then all the way through the week. if i don't drink on a friday night - i'll work out instead, and thus not be tired and hungover so that i can't workout saturday morning.

but then. i would spend the rest of my life working out and never socialising, right??

tsk tsk.

What The Fuck !!! You have completely changed. you used to look like 45-55 yr old women and now you're so pretty. You look as if you're a teenager. You have done a tremendous job. You're my new inspiration girl.

Once again, Remarkable change. You must be very proud of yourself.

BTW.. are you single :D lol

haha thanks guys - yeh i looked so tired and yeh a lot older than my age before.
definitely single - not much point in a fella, too into my fitness at the moment haha.

hopefully one day i can balance it all out a bit, but right now its too much fun imo...
