Mandie's open diary

Its been another tough day today. Still so much work to do and not enough time to do it in.

I started out well today..but..then it all went wrong.

Dont know whats the matter with me..I need my mouth wiring shut.

Heres my embarassing food diary for today.

BREKKIE - 2 slices of wholemeal toast, 1 scrambled egg without butter and a small tin of baked beans. ( I did start off well, thought if i had a good breakfast that I wouldnt get that hungry)

LUNCH - Wholemeal roll, filled with salad and low fat mayo. 1 banana.

Dinner - Jacket potatoe with low fat cottage cheese.

NIBBLES - (this is where it went horribly wrong) 2 club biscuits, 2 rolls filled with mash potatoe, 1 snickers bar, 1 twirl bar, and a bowl of ice cream.

NOW I FEEL SICK, GUILTY AND DISGUSTED WITH MYSELF.

Take a deep breath and relax... there'sno reason to feel disgustedwith yourself and there' sno reason for guilt.

The day wasn't bad, not calories wise, but do you know what you were feeling when you were having the candy bars and ice cream? were you hungry? you aren't eatinga lot during the day so I would be hungry...

I like Mandie (and I honestly don't like too many people :D, she's a very sweet girl who needs to be treated better than you treat her.. Stop beating her up... Give her a hug and take a step forward.

Lose the guilt, lose the feeling of disgust and keep going.
 
Thanx for the encouraging words Mal...I do want to do well....I was doing great until the stress at uni happened. Heres today food diary..

Brekkie - 1 weetabix with semi skimmed milk and sweetner.

Lunch - Wholemeal pasta, in cheese sauce (made with water)..a sprinkle of low fat cheese on top.

Dinner - Jacket potatoe with Tuna and low fat mayo and salad.

Nibbles - a handfull of midget gems...and grapes.

I have tried really hard this week with my eating. I managed to lose 3lbs!. Im really pleased.

I was a little disappointed that I didnt do better with the lose 2lbs a week challenge (I put 2lbs on in that month)..Ive signed up to do it again for July, so wish me luck..lol. Im gonna really try hard.

Next week Im gonna still try and be good. I want to try and fill this diary in a little bit more aswell.

I was a bit shocked that my old uniform for work was a bit tight on me..but..it gives me more insentive to lose weight now.v

Anyway, gonna nip off now. Good luck to everyone else!
 
Glad to hear you are doing the 2lbs thing again... me too. I managed to lose a few at the end, but certainly not two pounds a week. I see any loss as good & a step in the right direction.

We can do it.

Lunch - Spagehetti on toast (nimble wholemeal bread)

Dinner - tomatoe soup

Nibbles - 1 bag of crisps and 2 fun size bag of malteesers.

Hiya everyone..I was meant to go on a long walk today..but it rained..I managed to only walk for 30 mins. Better than nothing I suppose.

Brekkie = 2 nimble toast with 2 poached eggs.

Lunch = Jacket potatoe with low fat cottage cheese.

Dinner = chicken breast, boiled potatoes, peas and gravy.

Nibbles = 2 fruit scones.

Brekkie = bacon and fried egg sandwich (nimble bread..bacon and egg done in frylite)

Lunch = small jacket potatoe with tuna and extra light mayonaise.

Dinner = Large salad with chicken.

Nibbles = banana and grapes.
 
looks like you're putting together a few good days in a row - -way to go Mandie :) just make sure you're eating enough... :D
 
Hi Mandie! Just checking in on you. I hope your week improved. :hug2: Is there anything you like to do that you could try and turn into a comfort thing? Instead of munching? I do that too, and I have two things I can turn to...a walk if I have no kids around (or if I have access to a sitter!), or I scrapbook. Keeps my hands busy, and it's therapeutic. I know you're busy, but there has to be a solution.
 
Thanx again guys for your support. Ive managed to lose a pound this week..so thats good.

Thanx for your suggestions Dariqueen..I'll have to try that..lol. Things seem to be better now that my assignments are done and that I am coming to the end of my course. Although I am working shifts, Im still managing to try and curb my munchies..lol. Im going for an interview on Monday for a part time job..I really hope I get it.

Well..this week Ive had a few bad days..but..im not gonna let a few bad days ruin it..so Im back on track..lol. Im so happy cus Ive got a job that I really wanted.

Todays food diary is:

Brekkie = shreddies with milk and a small yogurt.

Lunch = 4 slices of wholemeal toast and spaghetti hoops.

Dinner = wholemeal pasta in cheese sauce and mixed veggies and 1/2 fat cheese sprinkled on top.

Nibbles = 2 toffee's

Sounds like your back on track today evryone has bad days the getting back on to the good days is them important thing and you have done that so good on you
