Maddy's Diary

I love it when the sun comes out, but living in Washington State, well we have 2 seasons. From july to august it's summer... for the rest of the year its winter... lol. Its been rainy and cloudy for a couple weeks now. oh joy oh joy. I dont know what kind of turnouts you have at your stable, but in washington, even if you have a VERY expensive barn and super duper stuff, mud still is an issue. And I dont have a super duper barn. :) lol.

you're doing awesome. Way better than me on the eating part too. Keep it up! And go out and have that little bit of chocolate. We are women, and we never should be denied chocolate. :) lol.
Oh, and you can call me Jacqui. :)

enjoy the sunshine!

Hey Jacqui I know what ya mean about the seasons, we usually just have the one and thats WINTER!!! mmmm I live in the West and so its nearly always raining, but we can get lucky sometimes and have a little sunshine :coolgleamA:

I still haven't had the chocolate, I kinda got over my really bad cravings during the week. I wasn't thinking, it was just the time of month, so now I'm okay again. I know my day will come where I will have to have some, and I will give in to the temptation, but I just wanna be really good for the next two weeks, cos I'm really hoping to be down 10lbs for my next weigh in. I'd love to have lost 32lbs and if i lose 10lbs by the 15th, I will have reached that goal, and then I can set myself the next one hee hee never ending eh? Was reading your diary, your doing fantastic Jacqui keep it up. Oh yea, the horseriding was great last night. Alas my poor Jakey is a bit lame so I had to ride another horse, just not the same is it, but must say sometimes a change is as good as a rest. BTW I'm going drag hunting in a couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to that. Do you guys take part in any drag hunts over your part of the world?? Have a great weekend hugs xx

With how good you're doing, I bet you'll hit those ten pounds no problem.
Seriously, If I was doing as well as you, man I'd be, boom, done in no time. :)

And in the weather, we caught a break. Its a weekend, the sun is out, it's about 70 degrees out, and there is a slight breeze off of the water. Thank god! :D

I hope Jake feels better soon! And I hope it wasn't too bad of an issue? I know what you mean about having to ride a different horse, it's like getting to meet your partner all over again in a short time frame. Give Jake a carrot from me. :p I was having fun yesterday when Lily took off out of the pasture and just about knocked me over. THEN she wouldnt let me catch her. *rolls eyes* I had to go get a bucket of grain and give some to the other horses before she would even come close. She knew she was in trouble. lol.

Keep up the awesome work, you are doing so amazingly well it makes me a little jealous. :)

Hey Jacqui Jakie is grand now, he still a little lame though so I'm gonna leave him resting for another week or two. Some absolutely gobshite set off a couple of rounds quite near us and unfortunately, Jackie doesn't like loud noises and he took over and jumped a couple of quite high fences (very proud of him actually - they were very high lol), but unfortunately, one of our neighbours had barbed wire on one of his fences and he hurt himself on that and then he must have tripped, cos he is a little lame. I felt sooo sorry for him, cos he is such a lovely quite and happy horse. I think he is feeling sorry for himself also cos he just looks at me with his big brown eyes as if to say go on mrs. give us another carrott .... so I did and I told him it was from you ha ha He'll be fine in a couple of weeks hopefully. In the meantime, I have to ride one of the horses at the stable / barn .

I left a note on your diary anyways, so I'll talk to ya soon xx

Yikes. I hate stupid people who do crap like that. I used to work at a horse rescue on a local native american tribal reservation. That means, fireworks and shooting are pretty much legal all year round... what joy. Our neighbors were constantly shooting, or blowing things up, and the horses for a long while were pretty spooked by it. But, on the upside, they are now all accustomed to loud bangs. The people jump now more often than the horses... lol. But we also had our outdoor arena right next to the road practically, and people would honk while we were riding! I mean, seriously? *rollseyes*

Well tell Jake to take it easy and get better soon. :) We'll have to both get pictures of our ponies up at some point. :)

Have a great day!

Mexican rice mmmmm! How do you make that?

Unfortunately, I didn't make it, Uncle Ben did though. You just pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes and hey presto, its done. Its great for lunchtime in work, because I have to get my walk in and its nearly time to get back to work when I return from my walk, so its quick and easy, and I know there is only 400 cals in it.
