So I've really not been doing ANY cardio...well unless you count cleaning my house hardcore "cardio", lol....only strength training. I weighed myself this morning:

WHAT?? How can I be building any muscle if I'm loosing weight?? DONT get me wrong I'm thrilled I'm finally seeing below 135...but I was all prepared to gain a few pounds. Hmmmm. Maybe its my eating...I haven't been eating alot...just felt :ack2: and stressed lately. I was measuring out and eating all of my normal calories...or so I thought.
Oh well, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.

Last night I stayed up entirely toooo late again!! DH went out w/ guys from work and didn't get home until around 10pmish and then I think we both fell asleep around 12...although, I also think I fell asleep standing in the shower.
I hope I'm up for going out tonight...I'm interested to see what kind of band DH's friends are taking us to see. ITS FRIDAY!!!!
 
I'm not even going to pretend to know why you dropped the pounds, but good job. :) Are you trying to build muscle for any reason in particular?

You know shoveling snow is actually really good exercise!
 
MAN what a lazy weekend we had!!! It was GORGEOUS out too.
Friday night we had our house guests over, DH grilled wings and they sat around eating and drinking beer. Then we all headed out to a little hole in the wall bar to listen to the band play. They were actually quite good. I was impressed considering I wasn't even sure who they were or what kind of music they played. It didnt all go as planned though. We were able to listen to about 5 songs before the police came and said there was a noise complaint and SHUT the bar down!!! What?? I've never been to a bar in the city and gotten kicked out b/c of noise?? AND we paid to get in to hear 5 different bands, we heard 1 and only 5 of their songs!!
Ah well...the guys continued drinking at the house and I passed out. I haven't been getting great sleep and I was craving my bed! I drank NO alcohol, yay me. I guess I fell asleep around 3am and ended up waking up at 7am. Our guests left @ 2pm and I never once got out of my PJ's ALLLLL day!!! I said it was a lazy weekend!! DH and I just hung out and cuddled, awwww. We watched a couple of movies, ate lunch and crawled back into bed and watched even more movies. It was so nice out we made big plans to go hiking Sunday. Whichhhhh we didn't do. Nope...again we stayed inside all day. I did some cleaning while he did homework and then when I got ready to go hiking he got a call from a classmate asking him to join their study group for the evening. I did a little bit of strength training w/ the weights we have at home and took the dog out for a little bit...but other than that...I was LAZY again on Sunday. I do however feel recharged for this week!! I def. caught up on all of my sleep!! Even though I was lazy I didn't over eat...so that was good.....however, I feel like a slug if I don't work out. I'm excited about the gym today.
It's monday...**sigh**

The gym was PACKED out last night!! Blah. I guess I should be gald so many people are concerned with their health...but MAN I HATE waiting for weights or a machine!! They have started a new class schedule, yay, so I'm looking into going to a kickboxing or step class once or twice a week. Only problem is the class starts at 5pm and I get off at 5 :( You would think they would think about that and have their classes start on the half hour...oh well. I may run late to the classes. They do have classes that start at 6 but none I'm really interested in... ah' well.

So, I'm excited...the girl that wants me to make her wedding cake called last night :) Yayyyy. This will be my first ever cupcake wedding cake!! I've overly excited. I'm doing it for cost only. I figure its great practice (of course I will make 2 just to get the final one perfect) and it may get my name spread around for future business. DH fussed, b/c he is all about the making of money now, lol...but I told him all successful business men/women put alot of sweat and money into the business before they actually see much of a profit :) I'm excited to have a reason to decorate cupcakes!! Its a true passion that I don't get to partake in often, due to having no one to eat them, lol.

So on my way to the bank yesterday I passed a sonics drive-in. They had (in flashing neon lights no less) a **NEW MENU ITEM: FRITO,CHILLY CHEESE WRAP***
really???!!!!???
I know we've said it before...Americans are obese and due in part to the fast food chains............but really, a frito, chilly cheese wrap??? what is that for the low carb people, LOL...**sigh** it makes me sick.

It's tuesday!!!! and I got all of my major household chores done last night :) so tonight is the gym, then home to chill!!
 
Make sure that the customer knows that she is getting a cut rate price. Reputation gets around by word of mouth, but you don't want someone thinking that you charge more to some people then others. A simple, "I'm giving you this rate because xyz, but don't let people know that I gave you this deal. I would normally charge XYZ." This way the person knows she is getting a better product for her money, and the next client who is recommended by her has an idea on what the real price is.

For the gym... skip the class and hit the weights. :D

I had one Amazing Valentines weekend!! I hope everyone else did too.

We ate yummy, bad for you food, but it was fun :) I weighed myself last night and was back to 135lb.
We spent the weekend in Asheville NC...just playing along the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, playing in the creeks and letting the dog run wild. I NEEDED to get away from the city and this past weekend was just perfect. We found some amazing hiking and backpacking trails that I'm already itching to try. DH purchased a sweet little map w/ all of the Pisgah National Forest trails...so I see some major hiking in the near future!! So DH is traditional in the ways of...he got me flowers for V-day...but he was practical and got me potted tulips, one b/c they are my fav. flower and two b/c he knows I HATE it when cut flowers die! Score for him!! He also got me a new BPAfree CamelBak water bottle, haha...I love my hot pink one, but have been wanting a BPAfree one for some time!! another Score for DH!!
We had a bit of alcohol on Saturday night while celebrating V-day in Asheville :blush5: I've not had a sip of anything but water, milk and the occasional glass of OJ since well before Christmas...but it made for a fun V-day night ;) So I didn't fret much over it!!
I took some great pics of the mtns and I may eventually get around to sharing those. My dream is to eventually own a little cabin in the mtns of NC, so we'll always have a place to escape and soak up the amazing views. Its so theraputic. I was doing fairly well on my "no sugar challenge" but friday we consumed some awesome keylime icecream and then Saturday we split the most amazing chocolate, caramel, fudge, pecan pie..:**sigh** heaven on a spoon!!
I've been pretty sore after my workouts lately...I don't know if thats good or bad. I've been doing the same amount of reps....and I "think" I am starting to feel a difference, though not really see one just yet.
DH has started to take his own weight/fitness into account and he's starting to work out after his night classes!!!! I'm stoked, now I'll not only have my hot fit hubby back but I'll have a workout buddyyyy!!!
I'm ready for the gym tonight after all of the sweets we consumed this past weekend!

eh' so its been a few days...or...a week...whatever.

I've been SICK!!!! My boss came down w/ some crazy sore throat/ cold mess and then my DH ended up with it...I guess being around the two of them I finally got my share. Yuck. My throat is killing me and I'm exhausted. I won't go to the doctor b/c my health insurance doesnt kick in unitl next WEEK...and I refuse to take time off of work...so here I am feeling like death at work :( :nopity:
I have been hitting the gym everyday!! yay me. I even did some strength training yesterday (feeling like poo) I know it probably wasnt something I should have done...but I feel even worse (emotionally) when I miss a day at the gym that I was scheduled for. I try to go three times a week...usually four and if I miss one, I just feel like blah.
Last weekend was nice but hectic. We went back up to our parents house in the upstate. We had a nice little visit w/ both sets of parents and I saw some of my cousins and my best friend...but all that driving and rushing around to see everyone is NOT my favorite way to spend a weekend...I would have much rather been in the woods camping! We were going to try and do that THIS weekend....but now the weather is giving us hell and it looks like that will be put off for a few more weekends (I'm not trained nor do I enjoy camping/hiking in anything below 30 degrees...unlike steve, haha!).
I weighed in at 137 this morning....hmmmmm...wonder if I'm finally gaining some muscle?!! Hopefully its that and not FAT!! I've noticed that my weights are starting to feel too whimpy...so I tacked on 5 more lbs yesterday and felt it this morning :)

Aside from feeling like crap...life has been going pretty nicely. It's thursday so I can't complain much. I'm still going to go to the gym tonight (for a few short minutes) and then I think its tomato soup and bed!!!!
