Sam Hey I LOVE your avatar! Gosh you are handsome. You also look confident in the photo, that's fabulous! Yes I know what ya mean, I definitely feel the blues in the winter time, and I agree that the sun gives me good vibes, lately I've been a bit paranoid about aging. As in I swear that ever since I turned 21 I now have wrinkles around my mouth and eyes. I know that's crazy, and actually I love it on other people. I think my mom looks stunningly beautiful with the delicate skin around her eyes and her laugh lines. I mean it when I say that I find every line in a person's face lovely. I haven't tried spray tan, but I agree it seems to be a wonderful alternative to tanning. It can look good as well. Yeah I know tons of people that will not let the blonde/tan thing die too, and it does look cute on some, but it's just so much maintenance haha. I'm too lazy to keep it up! :rotflmao:
 
I probably shouldn't rest today considering that I'll be cooped up in the car for a full day on Wednesday which would have been a weight lifting day...but maybe one day doesn't matter so much. I weighed in this morning after guzzling nearly 5 L of water yesterday and I'm down to 156. I'm ecstatic. Clothes are fitting well and I feel great.

you're doing really good :) as for tanning is concerned, i don't like tanning beds, if i really need to get a tan for something i put some quality tanning cream, like vichy, its discrete and doesn't make you orange like some tanning creams.

:D :D Oh Sara.. Wrinkles at age 21! As if... From your pics you looked nothing of the sort. In any case, as long as you take good care of your skin, you'll be alright, cos the rest is up to fate. But I moisturise all the time, both face and body. I even have 2 face lotions (Oil of Olay) - one for the daytime, and the other for when I'm going to bed. Even with my dark skin I make sure I sun-lotion it up - you can never be too careful. It'd be nice to not only grow old without getting skin cancer, but also to look good. We wanna be the hot old ladies that all the men (young and old) would love to get with :rotflmao:

I use a moisturizer with an SPF everyday, and usually reapply a few times. It eases my worries about premature aging somewhat and has given my face a great glow and texture. I also scrub my face with St. Ives about everyday.

I used to be better about the sunscreen. I should try harder as I sure dont want to age badly either! Wearing sunglasses all the time is definitely a good strategy to avoid squinting and crow's feet. I assume you always have them on living in FL (u betta..*fist shaking at Sara*.

Blancita You won't have to worry about looking good! I just bought a great new pair today, I LOVE them :cool:

My sister and I bought my mom a purple tailored top with some dark jeans today, also a black handbag and sunglasses. She's going to complain and pretend she doesn't like them, but I know she will! She's a winter and looks fabulous in jewel tones. I finally found my white summer handbag on sale for $88 and I am DONE shopping. Also I found a great black top for $7 on sale at Express. Whew...I'm finally ready for my trip! I hope you all had a lovely night! :hug2:
 
Grr can't sleep...and I have too much to do tomorrow to not be sleeping right now. I wrote a massive to-do list though so maybe that will help me get to bed. I'm posting my chart now because I'm up. Also I wanted to mention that I saw a guy I dated when I first moved here a couple years ago tonight. I know quite a few people at the restaurant my sis and I ate at (it's pretty and on the harbor) so I wasn't surprised to see him, but it's bizarre to me that I've seen two pseudo-"ex's" in the past couple months and each time, they've showed me pictures of their new babies:rotflmao: Crazy...

hehe funny about the exs. i also had periods last year when i saw all my exes in 1 week. that was just too weird. my friend also...last year she got calls from 5 of her exes who wanted to tell her they still feel something for her even if some were married or dated someone else...what the f***?

glad you had great shopping session :) i will also in a bout a week when i get to my bf's hometown. they have everything cheaper then in croatia so that's good for me :)

One of my exes going back to 1991, actually to be honest he was more like a very long term booty call, called me the other day. He calls at least once a year to see how I'm doing, which I think is so sweet. Then there's the last ex, I still love his fine ass. OMG. And he still likes me but circumstances got in the way..
 
Sara it has been awhile and I apologize - I was actually thinking bat how i need to pop in here again and then you visited me - ya knwo what they say abt great minds - your shoppin trip sounded great and successful:D:D:DOh and I am sorry you couldnt sleep last night:)
 
Hey Beautiful...hope you got some sleep! Glad the shopping is over and you got everything....I love the combination of an $88 handbag and a $7 top...funny cause I recently forced myself to buy a new handbag too....only it was the extra cheap kind (marked down to $5 LOL)...and just 'cause my friends hate it I'm starting to love it (perverse I know).

I scheduled and paid for all of my classes today, I'm finally taking a French course that I've been wanting for 4 years. I'm very excited. Bought all my books, cleaned my apartment, figured out who was taking care of my kitties, and I am currently in the laborious process of packing. I have 2 appointments tomorrow and I have to somehow manage to make it to spinning as well. We leave around 3am on 8/1. Wish me luck on doing well, I'll post on August 15th! Haha, even the guys know the importance of sunscreen..

Weird coincidence about the exes.. My ex's best friend called me a couple of days ago to tell me my ex had been asking after me even though he's married and has a kid. Very weird.. Still there's good exes too, so I guess I can't complain..

I don't think you should freak out over the fruit - it's all good. It's got loads of sugar and that was lunchtime! I don't get the egg whites though - did you drink egg whites?!!! *shock and horror*, or did you do something else to them? I'm CURIOUS! Get back from your trip quick so you can tell me!

Stopping by for some house keeping

Hey Girl,
I hope your having a knock out time!! We all have missed you around here that's for sure!! But as I promised, I have stopped by to wish you a safe return. I can't wait to hear all about it! I had a great time in Eureka Springs with my hubby last week, and it seems since I've been back, I haven't even been in my own diary. I'm very busy at work right now and I read in about 5 other diary's yesterday that they are all having the same thing in their neck of the woods, hopefully everyone will be back and plugging at it again come September. OH YEAH, before I forget to tell you, I FINALLY got my pool in working order this week, so it's SWIM time for me this weekend, HALLELUJAH!! And considering we have had 100 degree weather for the past few days, it's going to be a blessing for sure. Well, I better get going I have a lot of work to do. Talk to you later gator!!
