Thanks for the encouragement ladies- Guess what? Perfect day today- BOO YEA!

Amsterdam- I bake everything myself! All my snacks are homemade- I have a thing for making up recipes. I never use sugar, all high in fibre, wholemeal etc etc. The prune and zucchini muffin recipe is actually for a loaf but it was really hard to cut so I made it into muffins... and it tastes like cake. Like OMG so good!!! I have the recipe typed up in my diary some way back, I'll look tomorrow and let you know what page it's on.

Yea I was SO surprised I had a loss- I was expecting to be up in the 68kgs again! Lol YAY, weight loss fairies blessed me today! :D

Have a good night all, I'm going to try my hardest to sleep... had the most full on gym session EVER so all hyped up. MUST...SLEEP....
 
Hurray, it's once again... FRIDAY!!!!! I do work, I AM in the kitchen... but today, I DON'T CARE! Woke up feeling awesome today, going to let it stick... no one brings me down today!
Ugghrgh Have the tired-ess legs EVER today... I know they are going to be killer sore tomorrow. Gym was rough last night- to start off we did a leg circuit... the first round was 20secs of each exercise with a 10sec break in between each- it was leg press, squats, burpees, mountain climbers, and sprints. Then did the same circuit again, 30secs of each with a 10 sec break... then again, 20secs with a 5 sec break... and finished with 30secs and a 5sec break. I was absolutely dead by then... after that he wanted to think of what to do next so he made me keep sprinting for the front of the gym and back and my legs just WOULDN'T work. Then we did a cardio-ish circuit- I had to do 20 squats on the squat machine, 1 min of skipping, and 1 min on the rowing machine... did that 3x. Then finished on the treadmill. 5mins only... but he set the freakin incline to level 9 and the speed to 10.5kms. I thought I was going to DIE... got a stitch at 4mins- he'd lowered the incline by then... but then he turned the speed up and I had to sprint the last minute. Owie owie owie!
I realised this morning that without intending to, I have been to the gym every day... since last Friday! I don't even know how that happened- public holiday messed me up I think! So definitely won't be going in today.

Todays plan:
Food
Breakfast- 2 pieces wholemeal grain toast, 2 eggs, 2 beef chevups
Snack- Banana, oaty fruit bar
Lunch- Wholemeal grain sandwich with mixed salad greens, cheese, tomato
Snack- Apple, spicy apple bread
Dinner- Stir fry with lean veal and mixed veg

Exercise
1hr walk
 
So today sucked a little- my acting out against the owner has come back to bite me in the ass... Had my hours MAJORLY cut back as of next week. Like I've been there since the beginning of feb and have worked 5 full days a week- usually if there's public holidays I'll work a Sat to get my hours... well next week I work 4 days and 2 of those are half days!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......... They had a meeting with the owner's of the franchise too and Wade said it was absolute crap and made me promise to hand in my notice first thing Monday. I'm going to have to anyway, can't afford to live on those hours!
Food was perfect calorie-wise, could've chosen a better dinner though... Didn't feel like cooking after I knocked off today, and decided to satisfy a craving... I had 2 pieces wholemeal grain toast with smoked salmon, was SO good. But 6 pieces of bread in a day is a little excessive lol. Oh well... still had 1000cal deficit, so I DON'T FRICKEN CARE! Another perfect day. 4 out of 5 so far this week, and 2 to go!!
 
That's really too bad about your hours being cut... my boss does the SAME THING but he is sneaky about it and puts the schedule up at the last minute so no one can chew his ass out for it! UGH stupid bosses. Hopefully you can work something out and get more hours or maybe have a talk with him to discuss what happened and just talk things out. Great workouts and food logs... keep it up! You're doing great :) Have an awesome weekend!

That's exactly how I see it as well! As long as I am under whatever. I ate some pie last weekend. OMG it was amazing. I only ate half but it was so worth it. I'm sorry they cut back your hours!:mad: Not cool at all. I hope works goes better for you soon.
 
I'm determined to make this weekend perfect!! I have gym this morning, going to the movies with hubby (using free tickets... so no need to spend money and buy food lol) and going out to the casino then a hotel tonight BUT... I am eating before I go! I've had my cheat day this week, not going to cheat again! Going out for breakfast tomorrow morning too, and yes it is a buffet... but just going to eat what I normally eat for brekki, I normally have a cooked one anyway so it's not going to bother me!

10mins jogging, 30mins gym with trainer

Breakfast: 2 pieces wholemeal toast, 2 eggs (or small amount of scramble) 2 chipolatas
Snack: Fresh pineapple, oaty fruit bar
Lunch: Wholemeal grain sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach
Snack: Apple, orange and raspberry muffin
Dinner: Stir fry with lean veal and mixed veg

Exercise
1hr gym cardio

Hey Lucy! Sounds like you are still doing fantastic!

Going to a casino and then spending the night at the hotel sounds so fun!! I love hotels so much- for vacations, I'm perfectly happy just booking a hotel room for a night or 2, even if it's in my own city, haha. It's so awesome that you are going to stay on track with your eating, regardless, too.

Happy Sunday morning everyone!

Uh oh... so truly fucked it up last night lol. Food was great- until about 10pm I was suddenly starving and tired but Wade wanted to stay up and watch a movie. He wanted to stop for food on the way home... and I wasn't going to get anything, but I got out of the car and weakness got me grrr... I had a small wedges, an icecream, a whole freakin block of chocolate... a handful of pringles at midnight :banghead: BAD BAD BAD!

Went to buffet brekki this morning and just had what I would have on a normal day, 2 pieces toast, eggs, and sausages. Then got home and went for a 30min jog at the gym, but my legs were too sore and tired to bike for half an hour. Going for a walk around the river with hubby this arvo anyway so wasn't too concerned (it's about 10kms, takes 1hr 45mins to walk) REALLY not hungry though, haven't had my usual morning snack or anything just because I physically feel like I can't eat!

Got some photos to post anyway! Me going out last night... AND... Well, I was gettingg ready in the hotel this morning before brekki, and they have a full length mirror there- In my bathroom at home I only have one to see my face... So I was kinda watching myself get dressed, and kinda went OMG- I'm starting to get abs! Like only serious beginnings of them lol, nothing too impressive yet... But thought I'd be brave and take a couple of snaps and post them on here. Eep! Please bare in mind- I had a major binge last night too!! (Don't mind the scar on my bellybutton- had a piercing a few years back, got drunk one night, don't know what happened... woke up in the morning and it was dangling by a lil piece of skin and covered in blood lol so took it out and have a LOVELY reminder of it!)
So I'd say in the dressed ones I'd be around 66.5kgs, and the stomach ones maybe half a kg more? Just a guess?
 
So forgot to add... I don't know what I'll weigh in at tomorrow, it won't be great... I'm hoping for 67kg or less so I can still make 65kg in 2 weeks. I'm going to aim for 7 perfect days next week though since I had 2 cheat days this week... should be a lot easier though as I have no plans for this week or weekend... I plan to keep it that way so I can concentrate on it!!
 
Hi Lundafuzz! Pictures look great :) You definitely seem on the right track. I'm crossing my fingers for you for 7 perfect days :)! You can do it!

Good luck with the weigh in....but I think your exercise plan is really working for you so don't let your weight it get you too down! i think you've gained/toned a bit of muscle!

Flumes- Thanks, have been totally getting my ass kicked at the gym for so long, it's great when hard work starts to show!

So weight loss never makes sense at the best of times... I mean, you can absolutely work your hardest and not lose... or can have a rare, freakishly weird week like me. I added it up and I only had a 2000cal deficit this week... so should have lost barely ANYTHING... but weighed myself this morning, and I'm 66.4!! (146.3lbs) Thats 800g- or 2lbs!! Woohoo, I'm so definitely getting to my halfway mark in 2 weeks!
And as I mentioned before, I'm going to make this week a perfect week... by that I mean a 1000cal deficit every day, and NO emptly calories!! Got to make each one count! 2 cheat days last week- two really BAD ones- would normally show up a lot more on the scale... for some reason I was lucky and it didn't... but not risking it this week!
Urgh Yesterday ended up pretty frustrating though, we didn't go for a walk around the river... hubby and I stepped outside and were walking to the car, when he realised he didn't have his keys. I don't take my bag when I exercise... so we were locked out!!! He rang a locksmith... $165 on a Sunday!! FUCK! There goes the rest of our money for the week! Just went back inside and watched TV all afternoon, felt a little bit depressed after that I think lol. Oh well!! Shit happens.
Ick I'm going to get totally soaked walking to work today, it's pissing down with rain. AND it's freezing cold! Great start to the week!

You are making some serious progress! Abs on show and all, well done!

Your diary is a very interesting read and has reminded me that this is not going to be an easy journey, hard work will be involved. I am trying to not think about the hard work bit and just get on with it and see where it goes, abs would be nice though lol :)

ForRealThisTime- I think I make it a lot harder for myself than it should be... I can't help sabotaging myself!! I think the journey is different for everyone... I'm happy I'm sticking with it, and that the weight is gradually coming off... I know my rate of loss is a lot slower than so many others, but I'm doing it my way. And I'm getting really fit and strong along the way! You really just need to do what's right for you!

Morning to everyone!!! It's Tuesday, I have today off... and hubby managed to get it off with me, yay! Plus it's pissing down outside so going to have a lazy day on the couch!!
Yesterday was a perfect day, hurray! 1 down and 6 to go!!!
I've already been to the gym today, really didn't have a great deal of energy for it though... probably because I had gym last night and I had tired muscles lol. So instead of going for an hour today and having tomorrow off, I did just over 30mins today and I will be going for 30mins tomorrow (don't start work till 11).

Todays Plan
Food
Breakfast: 2 pieces wholemeal grain toast, 2 eggs, 3 chicken chipolatas
Snack: Banana, oaty fruit bar
Lunch: Wholemeal sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach

Wow, those pictures!! You look fantastic!

Don't worry about the strange weight numbers or slow progress- it's only going to get harder the leaner you become! So in a way, it's kind-of a good thing, when you can't see those huge losses every couple days, because you know you haven't got a lot left to lose, lol.

I totally agree! I know I keep sabatoging myself too but that is life and it won't change so as long as I can keep it up on the other days then I'm heading in the right direction. Your progress pics are awesome! You looked so hot in that outfit you went out in too!! I bet you get hit on lots! Those abs are totally making an appearance! I wish all I had on my stomach was a little scar from a piercing - instead of stretch marks and loose skin that looks like I've popped out 5 kids! Totally envious of you girl - your smoking and doing so great and I can't get enough!! Keep it up! 6 more to go!!
