Hey Lisa, thanks for dropping by!!! Trust me I have PLENTY of stretch marks... A rather long time ago now, I was actually around 85kgs- which is around 190lbs- I think I was 17-18? Anyway I have stretch marks EVERYWHERE lol. They're just really old and faded and I don't let them bother me. My boobs are the worst though, they started growing when I was like 10 and didn't stop till I was 16, so I had ugly red marks all over them for years and I couldn't look at myself in the mirror! I've just accepted them and I don't even see them when I look at myself in the mirror. Just a reminder of where I've been I guess :D

Ick ok so guys... hate to report I was bad yesterday lol. Only got day one down!!!! Was having a lazy day with hubby and it wasn't even junk food- I overate on bran muffins and wholemeal toast and peanut butter and roast chicken breast just because I wanted to EAT!!! I'm back in fighting form for the rest of the week, I promise!!
Not going to the gym today, I realised if I go today then I'm going every day again this week lol. So today will be my day off!!! I don't start work till 11 so I guess today is kind of a lazy day too. I even managed to sleep in (anything past 6am is good for me... I didn't get out of bed till 7:30!!)
Job hunting is doing my head in... decided I'm going to go for part time work, there's no reason I won't get in to study so there's no point in finding full time work for a month and then having to find something else!! Going to resign on Monday I think. Eeee!!! Kinda excited though, I think having a psycho boss in a crappy job is underrated... they give you a kick to find something better :p

Breakfast: 2 pieces wholemeal toast, 2 eggs, 2 beef chevups
Snack: Banana, oaty fruit bar
Lunch: Wholemeal sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach
Snack: Apple, spicy apple bread
Dinner: Warm bean mix- small tin of 4 bean mix, 1 chopped tomato, 2 tbsp extra light grated cheese, tin of tuna in springwater

Ok guys... after just posting about how much I used to weigh, I thought I'd sort through some super old photos I have on my computer... just cuz I know how much everyone loves comparison photos! I guess it was good for me too to see how far I've come. There's not really any full body photos, I really hated myself in this period and deleted most of them... but you can definitely see it just in my face and boobs lol.

First 2 pics, I'm 17 and at my heaviest... around 85kgs. From memory I'm incredibly hungover there lol

The next 2 pics I'm still 17, a few months later, I think I'm about 5kgs or so less?

The next 1 is from my boyfriends (now husband lol) school ball. I'm still 17... This memory always sticks with me... I'm about 75kgs here, only when I went dress shopping I couldn't even get size 14s to fit me because of my boobs. I was so upset and depressed, I started crying in the shop lol... The dress I'm wearing my mum made for me.

And finally... The last one is me about 6 months later, just before I got my job at the gym... I'm around 75kgs here and this photo I used as my 'before' I guess whenever people asked me how much I'd lost when I started working there. Wish I could remember my old measurements, but the only one I remember is my bust haha!!! Probably because that's what shrunk the most... I was 108cms when I started- 42.5 inches.

Today ended up being a big day... I walked into work, and was told tomorrow I was in the kitchen again. Then thought to myself WHY am I still here? And resigned lol. So next week is my last week, yay!
Then I was txting my mum and telling her how much I need my car gone- been trying to sell it for a year- and she msged me tonight saying a dealership was going to pay me more than I thought for it... so my car is finally sold, YAY!!!!! MONEY!!!!!
AND hubby is up for a promotion- he has an internal interview next Wed.

I think it was all too much excitement... I ended up skipping dinner and eating 5 Tim Tams, a row (4 squares) of coconut rough chocolate, half a pack of malt TV snacks and a messload of icecream. And some toast. :banghead: Farrrrrrk!!!!!
Really got to get a hold of myself again this week- I can still have a small deficit.... so got to get through the rest of the week!!! 4 perfect days to go!

Congrats on leaving your crappy boss for good!! And look at all the good newsd that came after that!! Seems like a blessing in disguise! I love those old pics too - I really like the blond hair now and you look 100 times fitter and more confident now! I'm so proud of you and never knew you were 190 pounds before. I guess we all have stretch marks and eventually I will forget about mine too.
Ouch looks like we were both bad yesterday - oh well it's in the past now and we can both bust it out at the gym later! Hope you have a good night and I'll check back tomorrow to see a perfect day post! You can do it!

Well... Fuck. It's been about a week since I last posted... And about a week since I've had a perfect day. I'm not even going to tell you what my scales said this morning...!!! I don't know what pushed me so far over, but it happened, and I've decided to get over it.
Work has been really shit, SO glad I quit when I did. The place seems to be falling apart, I've been called in on all my days off and I was supposed to have a late start today- so stayed up a bit later to help hubby study for his interview- only to get called in yet again this morning to work in the kitchen. Grrr.... Just keep telling myself- 3 days left after today. I can do it!
Still job hunting, not overly worried about it now though. Can survive on hubbys pay till I find something, and if I don't I can get study pay in a month when I start studying anyway.
Hubbys interview for his promotion is today too, he's been majorly stressing all week and making me stress out lol. Fun fun!
Anyhoo- aiming for a perfect day today... Been an odd food day though cuz need to food shop tonight as we've run out of everything!

Hey there, sorry you've had a bad time of it lately. I also fell so way off track for half a week (and you are braver than I to even still use the scales after!). Good job for picking yourself right back up though. :)

Gosh, work sounds horrible, that's really good that you quit when you did! I'll bet you are really looking forward to being done with it. Hope your hubby's interview goes well!!
 
Lucy, sorry you are having a bad week. I'm having one too. Been in control of the eating but I don't seem to be able to go out and run. Hang in there, sweetie. This will pass.

Thanks Juni and Hanabi. Yesterday was a lot better than I have been!! Stuck to my food, I just had some peanut butter after I'd done the shopping last night lol. So had about a 850cal deficit- which I am very ok with!

Not much to mention today... 3 days of work to go, WOOOO!! Counting the days down now!

Ah ok... so still haven't had a perfect day yet... broke about even or just under on maintenance today so not great!!!
Aiming for the next 3 days to be perfect- then I'm weighing in again!!! Though I know it won't be great, TOM is coming next week... grrr... I hate how badly I fell off last time and this time is even worse!! Frick. Hoping that being unemployed I won't have any stress on me and can just concentrate on my fitness!! And then when I'm studying... I'll be studying fitness anyway!!! Lol. I can do this!
 
Well now, two days of work to go!! Hurray!!! Gym was HARD yesterday. I even whimpered a few times when I couldn't physically lift my arms above my head... trainer thought it was highly amusing.
Not looking forward to today, I have to close with the owner... which means 2 whole hours of hanging out with her. 2 whole hours of trying to keep her off my ass grrrr. I guess I only have 2 days left, if she's a TOTAL bitch I could just walk lol.
Oooh and I might be starting boxing!!! One of the girls I work with started the other night with her boyfriend and she said it was WICKED fun, I said me and hubby would tag along next time she went. I LOVE boxing, soooo much fun when trainer does it with me. It's like an hour long circuit, if I really like it I might do it a couple times a week with my gym training while I'm unemployed.

Good morning to all!!! It is a fantastical day- for today is my last day at work, hurrah!! Oh and yesterday was my last day working with the evil demon owner :p Yippppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Also as unsure of myself as I was last week- heading into unemployment etc- I believe I had several pretty good signs I'm where I'm supposed to be... Got home from work yesterday to a letter from TAFE (where I'll be studying) saying I have an offer of a place and enrolment is this coming Wednesday- no way I would have been able to get a Wed off work! Also fees need to be paid then... which I would not have had, but I sold my car last week and it was all finalised yesterday and I'll have the money in my bank on Monday just in time! :D Yay I'm going to be a student again!!! Lol at how much notice they give you though, ridiculous!!!

I have gym tonight too- for some reason the trainer is giving it to me half price?? Randomness... I told him the session would have to be at 4pm today, and he said that it was cool and also that he couldn't be bothered finding anyone else for it so it'd just be me. I offered him the rest of the money for a PT session (my Sat sessions are half price cuz there's 2 of us there for the half hour) and he told me not to worry about it. So YAY! When I get my car money I'm going to pay him like 8 weeks of training as well. Hoping to try boxing Tues next week... if I like it I might go a few mornings a week since I won't be doing much else!

Sorry I haven't been through anyones diaries this week, it's been a lil bit mental... will get to it over the weekend!!!

Oh forgot to mention I think my scales died!!! I tried to jump on them this morning but they wouldn't turn on. Don't think it's the batteries cuz it never said they were low... I dunno. Couldn't find the stupid charger so will wait till hubby gets home. Grrr frustrating!
 
It's Sunday... and I am forever free of evil owner!!! Went to the gym after work fully happy and hyper, and then had a really insanely hard workout and had no energy lol. Did mostly leg work, did a circuit of weighted squats, lunges, Romanian get-ups and sprints, then had to wrestle the trainer halfway across the gym... did that 3 times, then did a couple of leg machines- 15 sets of each going super slow which is INSANELY painful... could hardly walk after that, but then I got led to the treadmill and I had to do 1 min on treadmill either sprinting on like 16kms p/h or running at 12-14kms p/h on an incline of 8 (whatever trainer felt like at the time) then I'd have to quickly jump off and do 5 burpees and 15 squats, then I had to jump straight back on the treadmill. Did 5 rounds of that, OUCH! Then finished with single leg calf raises. So my legs were very dead after that!
Trainer is excited that I'm studying fitness though, says it suits me... and they're desperate for staff too so after I've been studying a few months I can get a job there! Lol. I'm friends with the owner too and she's already said the same thing- she's in my Mon night group session.
Boxing is happening Tues night, I'm excited!!! Really hoping it kicks my ass! I'm keen to get into other forms of exercise- dancing didn't last too long cuz Wade kept bailing on me lol so hopefully this will stick!

Haven't really got any plans for today- going to head to the gym now and do some cardio, and I have to walk out to the shopping centre to return my uniform today too... might do some baking. I think I'm getting sick, had a headache last night and got the sniffles a little today... could just be because it's fricken freezing- it's been like 1-2 degrees C every morning this week and today was no exception. There's freakin frost on the grass every morning! SO over winter!
