Lucy's Diary

Decided to plan out the next week so I know I'm eating almost exactly 1000 calorie deficit every day, and so my exercise is mapped out... so this is what the next 6 days is looking like:
Friday- Exercise: 1hr walk, Calories: 1750
Saturday- Exercise: 1hr 45min walk, 30mins gym training session, 2hrs + dancing (going out) Calories: 2200
Sunday- Exercise: 1hr walk Calories: 1700
Monday- Exercise: 1hr walk, gym 45mins Calories: 1900
Tuesday- Exercise: 1hr walk, 2.5hr dance class Calories: 2000
Wednesday- Exericse: 1hr walk, 30 min jog (aiming for over 4.5kms this time!) Calories: 1800
So that's the plan! :D
 
UGH had the worst sleep EVER last night, took me hours to get to sleep and I still had that headache that hung around all day. I was so amped up after my gym session as well I couldn't turn my brain off!! And my kitties decided to have a much more active night than usual so had them running all over me and meowing for attention!!! So yes, it's 6am and not only am I up, I've been up for a while!!!
Training session was a bit tough last night, we did boxing though which was soooo much fun!!
ANYWAY some good news, I weighed myself again today and was 69kgs, wooo!! So lost half a kilo this week. Also measured myself again and I've lost some cms- thought I'd share:
18/2/10 19/3
Bust- 97cm 95.5
Waist- 77cm 75.5
Abs- 92cm 91
Hips- 97cm 95.5
Thighs- 61cm 60
Arms- 30cm 29

The other people in my group reckon I look like I've lost heaps every time they see me so must be getting toned, yay lol.

Anyway todays plan was to stick to 1750cals and exercise is a 1hr walk.
Breakfast: Soft rye wrap with 2 slices cheese, an egg, tomato, 1 cup of spinach
Snack: Banana, homemade oaty fruit slice
Lunch: Sandwich with 97% FF deli chicken breast, tomato, 1 cup spinach
Snack: 1/4 rockmelon, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner: Lean veal steak, greek salad with 30g feta, 5 large black olives, capsicum, cucumber, and spinach leaves.
According to fitday my total is 1756 so done well!!!
 
wow so despite the serious lack of sleep last night and my mega flat mood yesterday, im super full of beans today! So hope its busy at work, I want it to be over with cuz yay, I have the whole weekend off! I seriously need a new job, I'm putting it at the top of my to-do list. Just under losing weight of course :)
I actually have plans this weekend, tomorrow morning I'm wallking round the river with hubby, then we are going coffee tasting, got my training sesh in the afternoon and I've actually planned to get takeaway after that lol, my cheat of the week. Only doing that cuz then I'm going out dancing for probably most of the night and my cal intake needs to be 2200 for the day... Planned what I'm having and everything! Going to Nandos and they have the nutritional info for their food on the website. Its my fave takeaway ever and its not even that bad for you. Yay! Then Sunday I'm either going kayaking or hiring a pedal car with a friend :) trying to get creative with the exercise!!
 
So had a shitty day today, work was slow and boring, got verbally abused by a customer.... BLEH! Plus haven't seen hubby for a few days cuz he's on lates and finishes when I'm already sleeping, and I'm hormonal lol. BOO!!!! Life really isn't fair sometimes, I haven't really talked about what's going on in my life now currently... my now best friend that I met when we moved up here has liver cancer, we found out on my birthday just over a month ago. He's on drugs to stop the cancer growing or spreading until he has surgery in June, so he can't drink (a huge reason why when I go out I don't drink either- obviously there's no pressure there when the people you go out with don't drink) And one of his oldest and closest friends that he went to school with (my bestie Wade is 29 so a bit older than me) was randomly killed the other night because some dumbass driver was going 85kph in a 50 zone and drove around a corner too fast and swiped him, and poor Wade had to go and identify the body because his mates parents were out of the country until a couple of days ago. The funeral was today. So that's my rant, that life is pretty crap sometimes and it always seems a million times worse when you feel like crap.:svengo:

It's too much :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Just reading this makes me feel to take some illicit drug and I've never tried any! Glad you're feeling a bit better and I was really happy to see that you managed through all of that. I also think abstaining to drink in front of your friend speaks volumes about your character. Seems you're made from the good stuff :D

I really feel you on the lack of sleep part. I'm afraid with all of my posts my grammar is suffering because of it! Nevermind the incomplete sentences and a zillion emoticons :D

Woohoo about to go trekking around the river again with my poor husband lol... all this exercise he's getting I'm surprised he's not getting grumpy with me- he HATES exercise. And loves junk food. And is skinny (grrrr)
On todays menu:
Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 slices of cheese, small handful of spinach on 2 pieces of toast
Snack: Banana, homemade blueberry muffin
Lunch: Soft rye wrap with 97%ff deli chicken breast, tomato, mixed salad greens
Snack: 1.5 cups of chopped fresh pineapple, fruity oat slice
Dinner: Nandos chicken breast pita (hot!) and a regular chips

Exercise: 1hr 45min walk, 30min personal training session, 2+ hours of dancing tonight (depending on how late we stay out!)

Busy day anyway, didn't get grocery shopping done the other day so doing that and driving out to go coffee tasting at Yahava Koffeeworks (mmmm sooo nice!) We got a super awesome coffeemaker from my parents as a wedding gift, what can I say it gets well used :) I'm down to one a day though, I used to have 3-4!! And I drink it with skim milk no sugar :Angel_anim:

lolol :) This made me laugh. My husband is skinny also :p The other day when I was packing his lunch I put one of the Nabisco 100 cal cookie things in his bag because I know he likes sweets and he had no other sweets left, and when he saw it in his bag he took it out and started freaking out because he thought it was a diet thing to make you lose weight:rotflmao: I assured him that the cookies are regular cookies they just decrease the size to have lower cals. lol

Did the food shopping, bought myself a treat for tomorrow... got smoked salmon to go with my eggs at breakfast, YUM. OMG I would live off that stuff if it wasn't so damn expensive!! Grrrr hubby managed to sneak a lil bit of junk in the trolley, a tub of icecream and 2 packs of hot cross buns... I'm staying strong though!!! Determined!!
I can't wait for tonight either! Actually really looking forward to my training sesh (somethings going on there!? WHAT!) then coming home to have a shower, eat some takeaway (o WOW I've been craving Nandos all week long!) then get dolled up! Hanging out with the people from my old job tonight first, it's a going away thing cuz a few of the employees I was friends with are changing store (I still work in the same shopping center) So looking forward to that! Then taking my dear Wade out dancing!!! YAY!!! Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!!!!
 
Thought I'd post this quickly- last time I lost weight I went on a mini break with my husband (boyfriend back then) This was me about halfway there, think I was just on or under 65kgs! What a difference!

It's ok I'm pretty damn hard to offend... I don't think I've ever been told I look like a celebrity before, but that's pretty hilarious!!

Ok a couple of changes to yesterday, my friend Wade that I was going to go out with told me he was insanely tired and probably wouldn't last long out, so I changed my takeaway a little to something a bit lighter (still had chips lol) and we were only out til 9 and he started falling asleep- think it's a side effect of the meds he's on. So came home and had an early one :) Didn't get my dance on but still ate well within my calories, fitday says I burned 3078 yesterday and ate 2143- so nearly my 1000 deficit still!!

Here's todays plan:
Breakfast: 250g fat free nat pot set yogurt with 1/2 cup raw homemade muesli
Snack: Banana, homemade fruity oat bar
Lunch: Soft rye wrap with smoked salmon, mixed salad greens with shredded beetroot and carrot, egg, tomatoes
Snack: 1/4 rockmelon, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner: Chicken breast with cheese and mushroom sauce, Greek salad with 6 olives, 25g of feta, 1/4 capsicum, 1/4 large cucumber, 1 tomato, 2 cups of spinach leaves

Right now I'm enjoying my super awesome coffee that I bought yesterday... YUM!! Trying to convince Ash to walk around the river with me again today, lets see how that goes :smilielol5:

Haha thanks, I was sooooooo fit here I think most of me was muscle. You actually can't really tell in this pic but I carry most of my extra weight on my chest (trust me, it's not something to be happy about) when I got down to 60kgs I was still a DD... So right now they are even more ginormous :ack2: I swear they weigh a few kgs each! They make it sooo much harder to exercise- specially since I'm a fan of running- and buying clothes is a bit of a nightmare... but yea just my body shape I guess. You know how people say if they have a binge they feel bloated or their jeans feel tighter? I get the same prob only with my boobies busting over my bra! Also carry a heap of extra fluid the few days before my period and they get so painful and heavy.

I'm trying to find pics of me at my goal weight but most of them are just head shots, I have no idea why I didn't take body shots at my goal!! Grrr guess I never really thought I'd be here again to need them for inspiration!!
 
Thought I'd show lol, this is one of the pro photos from my wedding on Oct 17th last year, I was around 71kgs and I'm wearing an E cup bra (still am right now but happy to say it's getting a little bit big!) At my absolute heaviest (85kgs) I was wearing something ridiculous like H cup or something!
 
You still looked fab at 85kgs. I think we have a very similar body type. I also have big boobs (DDD, sometimes E) and hating it right now. You're so right it's hard to shop for a large up top and a small/medium waist lol... It does make exercise annoying but I usually wear a supportive tank top under my workout shirt during exercise to keep everything all together. Look at it the positive way: when we lose the weight we won't be flat chested!!
 
GAAAAAAAAH just wrote up a HUGE post and the computer ate it!!! Trying again...

Sunshyne- Yea I'm still an E but can definitely see/feel them shrinking with the rest of me! WHen I work out I wear an older bra with a heavy duty sports tank over the top- they don't move at ALL when I'm working out lol!

Food today:
Pre gym snack: Protein shake with skim milk, 4 vita weats with l/f cottage cheese
Breakfast: Soft rye wrap with smoked salmon, 1 egg, tomato, 1 cup mixed salad greens
Snack: Banana, fruity oat slice
Lunch: Wholemeal grain sandwich with 97%ff deli shaved chicken breast, tomato, mixed salad greens
Snack: 2 kiwifruit, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner- Vegetarian red lentil lasagne (made it yesterday, will let you know how it is!! Going to cut it into 8 serves and freeze most of it) Maybe a side of spinach salad

Exercise:
50mins at gym (was HARD today!) 1hr walk

Thought I'd share my gym workout that I do on a Monday for anyone interested, this is the workout my trainer created for me to do whenever he's not there. And it really fricken HURTS! I'll include weights/distance and compare every week to see myself improve :)

Leg Press 3x15 sets- 6kg today
Seated Row 3x15 sets- 5kg today
Chest Press 3x15 sets- 6kg today
Lunges 3x16 sets- 7kg dumbells in each hand today
Fitball squats- 3x25 sets
Deadlifts 3x20- Used a 20kg weight today
Rower for 5mins- Level 6 and went 0.892kms
Ex bike for 10mins- Level 6 and went 3.46kms
Bridge twice for 1min each- I don't actually have any way of counting exactly a minute so just counted to 60 and tried my hardest to stay up there, I made it for the first one but fell on about 30 on the second lol
Then I stretch :)

Ok so we are in the hugest storm EVER right now, like it's absolutely completely insane... half the city is flooded, insanely loud thunder every 2 seconds, HEAPS of rain, golf ball sized hail... FUN! I love storms lol.
Uh oh... I've been bad today!! I got my period this morning and was headachey and tird and just kept wanting to eat eat EAT! I tried so hard all day to be good, and I ate everything on my plan... but then after dinner I got into EVERYTHING. So had a full on binge, not even going to say what I ate!
Just going to put it behind me and push on. I think that I've been doing really well so far as this is the first binge I've had since I started! I'll just be an extra good girl tomorrow and hope it won't affect my Thurs weigh in too much. Bleh.
 
Sorry about the binge. I also had one yesterday and it's such a crappy feeling. Just blame it on the T.O.M. lol

I did think about the impact on my weight loss, I guess I've been creating a 1000 deficit every day and if it was so bad I ate 3000 over then in the week overall I should technically still be 1/2 a kg down? I'm hoping!!

Anyway I'm on damage control today. Got a text from my friend I'm supposed to be doing dancing with tonight and he had some reason for not going tonight, so not dancing again! Exercise today will just be my daily walk, so 1hr.

Food will be:
Breakfast: Soft rye wrap with 1 egg, 97%ff deli ham, tomato, and 1 cup mixed salad greens
Snack: Banana, fruity oat slice
Lunch: Sandwich with 97%ff deli chicken breast, tomato, and 1 cup salad greens
Snack: 1/4 rockmelon, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner: Red lentil lasagne (which was really nice BTW, will post recipe up when I get a chance!!)

So you can see I won't starve but the calories come in at 1471 on fitday.com. I don't see myself being too hungry today anyway so should be just fine! Depending on how I feel I might even get into the gym tonight
