Sorry to hear about your bad day at work! At least you can be proud that you got it all done and stuck with your eating plan. Get a lot of rest tonight, eat some citrus fruit if you have any and drink your water. Hope you feel better tomorrow!

I don't know why hey but I'm suddenly incredibly motivated!! I haven't even given grabbing junk food a THOUGHT.... so incredibly weird for me. Ugh still have a snotty nose though... hey I drank 4L of water yesterday!! I didn't even realise it until I had to fill out the diary for my trainer- have to work out water intake for it.

Thanks for the encouragement Mizzie- if the kitchen lady isn't in today I will probably cry. I don't have a problem doing kitchen if they actually TEACH me... but I've been really thrown in the deep end with that.

I actually don't feel TOO bad apart from the snotty nose, so will still be going to the gym tonight. Haha had to really talk myself out of just getting up and going yesterday, I was ITCHING to... but decided that 5 days a week is absolutely enough. Had an early night which I probably needed too.
Reeeeeeeeally don't want to go to work!!!!

Food
Breakfast: 2 pieces wholemeal grain toast, 2 eggs, 4 extra lean beef chipolatas
Snack: Banana, prune and zucchini muffin
Lunch: Wholemeal grain sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach
Snack: Apple, wholemeal banana bread
Dinner: Tuna quesadilla
Snack: Protein shake with water

Exercise
1hr walk, 1hr cardio at the gym
 
Great Job on keeping the snacking for junk on the low!! I am always super impressed with your workouts!!! You are doing GREAT!!!! Keep it upand keep that motivation GOINGGGGGGG! Love the food log! xoxox
 
Thanks for stopping by Alta! I'm really looking forward to smashing out some cardio tonight... It actually makes me forget I have a cold for a while! And clears my head.

Thought I'd update on my work situation: kitchen lady has either quit/been fired, was too scared to ask the owner which it was... She just said that she won't be coming back! But we have a girl that works with us 3 days a week who knows kitchen and she was on today, I was helping her out which was sooo much easier than me by myself! We are in the kitchen again together tomorrow, and then Fri Wade is back so don't know what'll happen then.
My head is all super stuffed and snotty today too- at least I don't really feel sick it's just my nose. Hoping that today will be the worst of it, I don't ever really get sick so should be fine. It's only really bad right now cuz I'm sitting lol.

I think I'm broken. Lol seriously something is going on... another perfect day. Which has never ever ever EVER happened while I'm sick. And stressed. AND tired. Especially all at once. Oh and that's not even all of it... I got home from the gym (did 30mins on the treadmill and 30mins bike- cleared my nose and my head!! Until I got home again lol) and Ash had a family size pack of my favourite chips OPEN on the bench, and it was all I could smell... I didn't even think TWICE about them!!! It wasn't even like I decided not to have them, it was like I saw them and looked at them like they were anything else. Lol then I told him off cuz he's supposed to be trying to be healthy so he threw the rest out.
Just a little weirded out by myself... I wonder how long it'll last!! :D
 
WOOT!!! I'm so proud of you! That's when you really know you have this down. You are doing so great, especially considering that you are sick and all the stress at work. Keep it up, girl! The pounds are going to just melt off.

I was woken up this morning by a huge freakin thunderstorm... Ash woke me up to tell me that there was water leaking through the light in the bathroom and now the light wasn't working so I showered and got ready for work in the dark... and now I'm psyching up to walk to work through it, lucky me lol. I think I need to invest in a coat or something to walk to work in, the mornings are starting to get really cold!! (hehe more clothes) So today looks like fun!
I'm still really snotty today too so that sucks!! Carrying a roll of toilet paper everywhere cuz I ran out of tissues.

Todays plan:
Food
Breakfast: 2 pieces wholemeal grain toast, 2 eggs, 2 beef chevups
Snack: Banana, oaty fruit bar
Lunch: Wholemeal grain sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach
Snack: Apple, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner: Toasted soft rye wrap with light pizza cheese, tomato, capsicum, mushrooms, 4 bean mix, anchovies

Exercise
1hr walk, 10min jog, 30mins gym with trainer

Hooray, for tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!!!!! What a long week!
 
So I decided I've got my banana bread recipe where I want it, thought I'd share it with you all!!

Lucy's Honey Walnut Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 egg
200g low fat vanilla yogurt or fromage frais
2 tablespoons oil
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 small packet crumbled walnuts
1/3 cup honey
1 cup wholemeal self-raising flour
1/2 cup unprocessed bran
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1. Preheat oven to 160c (315F). Cover the base of a loaf tin (mine is 20.5cm x 10.5cm) with non- stick baking paper.
2. Place egg, yogurt, oil, and honey in a large bowl and whisk until well combined. Fold in the mashed banana and walnuts, then fold in the sifted flour, bran, bicarb, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. Spoon the mixture into the loaf tin and bake for 50mins-1hr, or until cooked through when tested with a skewer.

Nutrition info: (when divided into 8 servings)
Calories- 214, Fat- 5g, Carbs- 37g, Protein- 5g
 
Yes... today was another perfect day!!

Trainer TOTALLY kicked my ass at the gym today. OMG I was already so sore and tired- just cuz I'm sick and it's been a long week... but now I feel like I'm dying lol. Boo. Off to bed I go...

Woke up this morning feeling amazing (very sore body, but hey... I earned it lol) I'll have to tell my trainer he sent my cold running!! It doesn't even feel like I was sick in the first place!!
Lol anyone who is interested in what he actually made me do last night... started off on the leg press, did 3 sets getting heavier each time with a drop set straight after the last one (so after doing the heaviest the weight is dropped back and you have to do another whole set... it's the most painful experience but I'm getting used to it lol) Then he set up a circuit which didn't seem SO bad to start off with... 30secs of lunges with 9kg weights in each hand, 30secs of running step ups on each leg (1min total) and then 30secs of mountain climbers. He was counting each of my reps... then made me do the circuit through 2 times more and for any reps I didn't make it all the way again, I had to do a burpee!! Had to do 3 after the second round, but on the 3rd I TOTALLY lost it on the mountain climbers... my legs just gave out. He worked it out I had to do 20 burpees!! Lol. Instead he let me do 5 burpees, 5 push ups, 5 squats, then 5 more burpees... then we went to the spinning bike, I had to go 1 min as hard as I possibly could, then jump off and do 5 squats, 5 pushups, 10 side jumps... then jump straight back on the bike and go hard again. Had to do that 4x... then went down the back and did heaps of crunches and fit ball twists. Oh blaaaaaaaa... Was super painful anyway!!!

ANYHOO... My cold is gone, it's Friday, and Wade is back today!!! :D

Lunch: Wholemeal grain sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach

Good morning all!!! Hooray for weekends!!!

Yesterday was another perfect day... yay!!! Even though I went to the movies last night and was sitting between Wade and my hubby who kept offering me maltesers and popcorn... I was very well behaved!! I really liked Robin Hood by the way!
I just realised that in the crappiness of last week I forgot to mention a few things... TOM came about 10 days early, so I've had that on top of everything else this week. Think it started Monday? Didn't mention it cuz I haven't had cramps, cravings, NOTHING! Lol I think I get it at the same time as the girl at work now... I used to always get it same time as my mum and sisters but haven't seen them for yonks. And apparently my body can't think for itself and has to copy people lol.
Second thing... I applied to study next semeser!! Going to be a personal trainer!!! Hopefully... I've applied twice before and gotten in then didn't enrol as something always came up. REALLY hoping that won't affect my application!

Have a few plans today, got the 2 on 1 session at the gym this morning, then going shopping with hubby... need new gym shoes and a coat to walk to work in. The last 2 days it's been 2 degrees c in the mornings and my little dodgy jacket just doesn't cut it on the half hour walk to work. Then casino and clubbing tonight with Wade! YAY!

Breakfast: 2 pieces wholemeal grain, 2 eggs, 3 chicken chipolatas
Snack: banana, oaty fruit bar
Lunch: Wholemeal grain sandwich with cheese, tomato, spinach

Today was a bit of a naughty day... I ate everything right, but then had a large-ish tub of icecream after lunch. BUT- I had a craving, thought I'd let myself as it's been forever since I've had junk food... so had it as a cheat... and today I've finished on a 1050 calorie deficit so it didn't hurt. And- I didn't enjoy it as much as I used to!! It didn't send me bingeing or anything either which was also a little weird. I have somehow managed to take control of my eating, yay!!!
Also went for a 1hr walk cuz needed black tights to wear out tonight under my dress :D And I'm going out dancing and walking around all night too. YAY can't wait to go out!! I might post some photos tomorrow if I can be bothered taking some!!
 
Last night ended up being heaps of fun, got home pretty early but that doesn't matter. I didn't eat anything else so still well behaved- If I get through today all good (which I'm about 98% sure I will) Then this will be the first week EVER since I started that I had a 1000cal deficit every single day!! WOOT!

Thanks Xe! I think in the photos I can really see it in my face... and I'm getting a waist again!! Knew it was in there somewhere. If I'm at my 1/4 way mark tomorrow (I shoulda smashed it- fingers crossed) I'll take a few more pics and show off my arms too... I'm so proud of them lol. Also will post new measurements for this month!
