*Wonders if shes talking to herself- first sign of madness anyone?*

Looks like i went a little over the cals yesterday, but not badly.

Today i fixed up a couple of things- not having OJ with breaky. Bananas are high sugar too...So todays food is:

Breaky: 2 eggs scrambled with skinny milk, 1 slice of bread and a glass of skinny milk. (around 350 cals)

Lunch: Tin of tuna (100g) and 4 crispbreads (200 cals rough)

Snack: Zucchini chips- recipe on forum. Fitday doesn't like zucchini though?
I also ate a 40g caramello koala (200cal) mmmm, naughty bf for getting me choccy. But yummy.

Dinner tonight will be chicken, with pasta on the side with tomato and zucchini.

Exercise- 2 hrs at the gym, program day 1. Kung Fu tonight :D
 
So bruised from kung fu last night :( but it was fun while i was there! Very energetic too :D
But today i had almost no motivation to work out :( I still went to a cardio class but that it. Fitday says my cals are low still though which is good.

Going shopping later...in a phase where i wanna buy clothes, but i know i don't have the money for it and should wait a couple of months til i've lost my remaining weight. But my work pants are really baggy (3-4inches too big...)
But i guess i'll just look :)

Food for today:
Breaky- blended an Up N Go with some extra milk, an egg and a banana, then split it with my bf. (around 342 cals. high because of the banana)
I'm going to look into getting some frozen berries later at the shops and some natural yogurt and try Kara's breaky- sounds yummy.

Lunch- 2 sushi

Snack- another banana. I'm out of apples at the moment.

Snack- zucchini chips.

Dinner- don't know yet!

Hope to hear from people, but theres soo many diaries its hard to keep track of people.
 
Don't really wanna update this with the food for the last couple of days, feel so bad about it. I stepped on the scales today (not my weigh in day, i did this because i felt bad about the eating and i knew what it was going to say.) So it said 77. Thursday (again, not my official weigh day) it was 75.5, as it was on the weigh in day. I'm hoping the 1.5kg jump is just a bit of bloating and it will get back to normal on Mon/Tue (for the november challange too!). But it did make me get out of bed and go swimming before kung fu. So i've done lots of exercise at least. Still feeling a bit depressed though.

So the bad food, i guess...
Thursday night (rest of day was on last post) I had ramen T/A. It was yummy, maybe not that bad for me? A lot of water....

Friday's Food:
Breaky- Natural yogurt, berries and honey (it was yummy! I'll probably do this more often...)

Snack- Apple

Lunch- Chicken, cheese and light mayo Sandwich (toasted)

Snack- Cheese and chive scone (at work)

Dinner- 1/2 cup of soup, prawn cocktail. (Work)

Snackage...it was friday night, bad night of junkfood. I think i might try to bring carrot sticks next week.
So for junk food night, I ate a
Maccas sundae
Few cookies
Licorice

It doesn't look like much, but it made me feel bloated and yucky.
Actually feel a little better seeing that was all that I ate there...but still.

Today- Yogurt, berries and honey drink in the morning- added some milk. Won't next time though, was fine without.

Lunch- Fried rice (made at home)

Been swimming and went to kung fu today- its getting warmer in Melbourne though, harder to train. 30*C today.
 
Still not eating great today, went to a birthday party. Why must i subotage my hard gym work and rest of my good eating?
Ok, so we've started November now. I'll see how much I weigh tomorrow. I want to set a minimum loss of .5 kg (1.1lbs) a week. Have to see how this goes. Would of course like to lose more, but it would get depressing if i set it higher and didn't achieve it.
So we'll see how i go. I estimate i'll end up around 72-73 by the end, which would be great :)

Hope to go swimming tomorrow, want to try and boost my motivation/energy at the moment...I felt sleepy last week. Not only motivation to gym work, but also for my uni course. I have 3 weeks til my last exam and I'm not studying...Anyways. Hope to hear from peoples :)
 
Went swimming yesterday and got to the gym, so that was good. My weight didn't come down yesterday from the weekend, but it seems to have come down today.

Yesterdays food was good- had 1600 cals. Because i made skim milk pancakes mmmm.

Hope someone can tell me- I've looked through the board and come up with different answers for how many cals to lose weight. I'm roughly the same weight as Kara, which suggests i should have about 1600 cals, (which is pounds*15*.7 so it is pretty accurate for me too) but through another post it suggested about 10-11cals per pound...Actually I think i'm going to come up with the same answer here because I don't normally think in pounds, it just doesn't have the .7 thing at the end.
Wow, its so strange to think that in my teenage years, they put my mum on a diet that had roughly 1000 cals, and i also though that I should eat less than 1000 cals because of this. No wonder she didn't stay on it for long, such a stupid diet.

Maybe I haven't been eating enough then? I'll have to keep a more accurate log of my food with fitday. I also think i need to eat more vegies.

Anyways, its a public hol here today and i'm lacking the motivation to drive 30mins to the gym.. and i think the swimming pool 10min walk away will be packed too because of the hol. Ahwell,see how we go.

Food for today:
Breaky: Banana milkshake- needed to use up the banana (300)

Lunch: Salad wraps. I thought they were pretty healthy, next time i'll only have 1. (250cals each)

Snacks- Steamed egg custard bun. (250cals wasted but yummy) Hot chocolate

Dinner- Vegies (broccoli, beans, carrot, taro and roast potato) and 2 slices of roast pork.

End total- 1800 cals. 200 over :(

Exercise- walking around a huge shopping centre.
 
So today i want to exercise, but its November already. I have my final recital FOR THE WHOLE COURSE on the 20th....and i haven't practised nearly enough for it! And my band isn't ready or anything....so i have to do more of my course for the next couple of weeks :( I can't believe in 2 1/2 weeks i'll be finished my degree...

Food for today will be:

Breaky- Yogurt, berries and honey

Snack- Different Nofat yogurt

Lunch- Avocado, tuna and mayo

Snack- Apple

Dinner- BF wants Kievs. So Kievs, a little pasta and capsicum.
But my cal count is still low for the day :D I've put all of that into fitday and it comes up with only 1400 cals. :D Yesterday was a bit over anyways, so i might try to not eat any more than this.
Exercise- i will still go to kung fu tonight though :D

I've been trying to find some pics of me when i was 97kg, but all i can find are formal pics that don't show me too well. I also have one in a corset, but that also kinda doesn't show weight well...I'll post them sometime.

Looking back through the pics made me realise i haven't lost that much this year. Maybe 5kg or so? I really need to get my ass into gear *presents butt to be kicked*

So goallll setting time.
I have my last uni ball in 3 weeks. I currently weigh 76ish. 3 weeks...should be able to lose 2 kg, right?

*First goal- be 74 kg by 24th November.

If I do this then finishing the course and getting to the ball should be a big enough reward. I may also get some new clothes.

Next. After this, I should have 1 extra day to get to the gym. It will be 4 1/2 weeks til Christmas by this stage, so I should be able to lose an extra 3-4 kg by then, putting me at my goal weight!

*Second goal- 70-71kg by Christmas

Reward: Getting my belly button pierced and maybe a new bathing suit- depends on stretch marks...
 
Hey Lozza,

you are making some nice progress there! You should be very proud of you, you are exercising so much. I have just paid a fortune to do my dance classes so that will motivate me to go, I am just so zero energy (probably because I don't work out... it is so silly, no motivation, no workout, no workout, no motivation...).
And I think your goals are totally doable, the way you are working, you can get there!

Hmm, yeah middle of the week thing, its only so so...at least by Wednesday your on the down hill towards the weekend...
I was looking at what your eating, and maybe you need to eat more/get more nutrients? Im not sure, but that may help your energy and weight loss. But im no guru...

The goals should be achievable!
But I didn't exercise as much today, just went to a cardio class. My cals are low for the day anyway.

What I've eaten-
Breaky- Yogurt, Berries, Honey
Lunch- Tuna, Avocado and Mayo sandwich- i changed this because i don't think im getting enough fibre, but getting too much fat. So im eating less avocado at lunch and adding bread.

Snack- Apple

Dinner- Stuffed zucchini, Kara's recipe.

Any ideas of other changes so i can get more fibre?

Friday is normally my downfall day, so tomorrow im going to bring carrot and cucumber to snack on at the movie night instead of junk food. Will still probably have a cookie though...
I looked at carrots, and they may be the answer to my fibre question :)

Thank you for popping by, I know it looks like I eat too little but I think I eat more than it looks, because otherwise I would not be gaining. Maybe I need to exercise more portion control... though to me it looks like normal sized portions, but to me I also look obese so I know I have some kind of image distortion problem ;)!

Fibre: yeah carrots... legumes are great generally speaking and they have fibre too! You could also put those fibrous cereals (the ones that look like tiny sausages, Bran maybe?) in your breakfast yoghurt! I have never tried them and they always have wehat or barley in them so I can't but my (ex)boyfriend's family swears by those things. They are really high in fibre I think.

"Just" a cardio class sounds like a lot of working out to me! Have a great day, Camy

Hmm, yeah, i might try to add some all bran or something to my yogurt. Fit day says my fibre is normally around 10-15g a day...meant to aim for like 30!

So last night went well at the movie night, didn't eat too much junk food and stayed around 1600 cals :D Can probably do better, but it was still good- my weight didn't balloon up.
I've also lost the 2kg of water/whatever bloating i did from last weekend- my weights back to 75 :D, so .5 less than it was before the binge anyway :D

We'll see if i can keep that weight off over the weekend :)
Food so far-

Breaky- yogurt, berries and honey.
Lunch- Left over pasta from wed night. So many carbs...

I think i'll do chicken burgers tonight for protein, and lots of salad :)

Exercise- Kung Fu, in 30*c weather.

Todays food!:
Breaky- Yogurt, berries, honey
Lunch- Roast pumpkin, potato, some beans and 1 slice of roast pork. (At work) I also had some of the apricot crumble...but only a small piece 2 * 4cm at most.

Dinner- is kievs again. :( We bought a pack of 4 and the pack says not to freeze them :( There goes my fat through the roof. I'll do some salad/vegies with it though.

Even with the kievs the cals are low :D

Seeing M-Marie's tatt makes me wanna get a tattoo. I've always thought about it, but im too chicken...Maybe if i get to my goal weight i'll think about it again...not sure what i would get though.
 
I would love to get a small tat, either on my ankle or my wrist or my shoulder, but I know I will never do it because I am ridiculously chicken. I have wanted to pierce the top of my ear for years too, I even went to get it done and then chickened out, because they say it is painful.

Oh well. I did nto realize you were from Melbourne. Australia is top on my list of places I absolutely need to visit. Once I am skinny and awesome ;) I will come over. Maybe even next european summer (though it would suck that it would be cold... I would love to surf in Australia, and I only like to surf when it is properly hot!). When I was still with my boyfriend I planned our honeymoon to be in Australia, because it offers everything, surfing, beach, cities, animals, culture... now I will just have to come with honeymoon, which is cool too!

I think my prob with a tatt at the moment it i think i want it on one of my shoulder blades, but then it will be seen if im wearing formal dresses and stuff....not a great look. I'll think about it :D
Yeah, i'm from sunny Melbourne, where the weather here today is 34*C! 93.2F. Still meant to be spring..
I got myself out of bed though this morning to go swimming :D I'm going to try for this most mornings this week. Had trouble sleeping last night, silly weather.

But you should come to Melbourne! Can hit the beaches :)But yeah, only if its warm. Or you can try Queensland, they stay mostly above 25*c even in winter...


Oh, and I changed around my eating a bit now, so I add all bran in with breaky for fibre :) and I have chick peas, tuna and less Avocado for lunch- more fibre, protein and taking my fat intake down too.
My weight went down to 75, .5 lower than it was before binging and stuff :) only 1kg away from my mini goal before the formal :D(24/11)

Breaky- 75gYogurt, 25g All bran, blueberries and honey

Lunch- Chickpeas, tuna, avocado, and mayo.

Snack- Carrots and apple

Dinner- Ma-po Tofu (Tofu, ground pork, soy sauce and chilli) side of chinese broccoli. MM

My cals were around 1200 from this, so i had light ice cream :D mmm, and still 100 cals under.

Exercise- Swimming, Gym program 1
 
So Tuesday didn't go as planned.
I was going to go do a workout before the cardio class...but then got called in for a rehearsal that went over time. Only got to spend 40mins at the gym :( then went to get my hair done :D

Today-
Work is getting in the way of study and exercise!
I got called in to fill for someone, and its taken half my day :( Have to leave again in 45mins, should be studying :(

Tonight I'll get to kung fu though.

Food!
Breaky- Yogurt, berries, all bran and honey
Lunch- Tuna, Avocado, chickpeas and mayo
Snacks- Apple and carrots.

These are the same for both yesterday and today.
Dinner last night was Bbq chicken and salad, with ice cream after :D mmm

Today- extra snack, nofat yogurt with blueberries.
Dinner- Dunno yet. Maybe enchiladas.

Dinner ended up being t/a noodles. Anyone know cals for those? I had about 800 to spare anyway, so i think im safe...If not it will be a mild cheat day.
Edit- I put everything except sauces into fitday, and my cals for the day are 1350, so that allows 250 for any sauces they used.

Well done for having so much energy (and cals to spare)... man you deserve some kind of prize!

I have joined the 6 weeks to x mas thing, let's be hot for x mas my friend!!! I can't wait!

Thursday now, didn't get to the gym :(
I've got my last exam next fri, and i'm not working to hard on fitness til thats over...that being said, i still feel bad for not being as active...

Food- Breaky and lunch the same as other days.
Snacks- apple, corn on the cob.

Drinking lots of water :D Making me feel heavy though.

Yay, we can do the challenge :D
