Hi Lozza

I just thought that I would pop over and welcome you to my new challenge. I'm so pleased that you decided to join us.

We have lots of other cool stuff over there so do have a good look around all our different sections. We also have lots of other great challenges going on all the time.

Dawn has promised to run an Amazing Race style challenge in January - so when the Advent Calendar finishes - something else "out of the ordinary" will be just about to start.

I try to read through some of the bigger diaries. Got about 60 pages through Steves up to the point where he's saying he feels sorry for the people attempting it :p But theres some good stuff in there.

3hrs of Kung Fu today! Might also see about the different sites to train at since I'll have a problem with Wednesday for the next couple of weeks. Means I have to meet new people...But it will also be good training at a different site.
More updates of food and bruises later. :)
 
I would have thought that it was easier to just make friends with the people that have posted a lot... They either have the big diaries - or had one or two big diaries that they have abandoned and started a new little one for a new phase.

Steve is perfectly approachable if you have a question. You can post something in his diary, send him a PM - or pop over into his forum. Heck - he even is among the ADF membership and pops in quite regularly.
 
Yeah, it would be easier just to ask them :) I'll get some questions going ;)

No bruises from yesterday :) The workshop was fun :)
Food for yesterday:
Breaky- same
Lunch- Scrambled eggs with multigrain bread
Dinner- Pork.
Snacks- carrots, Ice cream, 20g fudge, cheese
Not enough vegies yesterday. Didn't feel hungry. Drank a lot of milk yesterday, which may have been why I felt bloated, not sure. I seem to be drinking only milk and water.
I went a little over my cals yesterday- only by 100 probably. But the nutrition balance was out because of too much fat, see above snacks in red!

Today I'm very busy :( taking on some emergency teaching work, and then my normal job, i'll be tired.
Food for today-
Breaky, same
Lunch- Salmon sandwich- multi grain bread, low fat mayo, tomato.
Snack- 1 apple. 1 Carrot
Dinner- don't know yet, bf will make something for when I get home at 9:30.

Not to be creepy, but i just got finished reading your whole diary. Thanks for posting your meals! I've gotten some ideas from them. :)

Dinner tonight was roast beef, with carrot and zucchni.

My cals are low for the day- around 1300. But I don't feel like I need to eat more. My protein is down and a few other vitamins. Not getting enough Iron according to fitday...average 12mg out of 18mg over the past month. May need to eat more iron rich foods.

I also didn't drink as much milk today- only 1/2 a cup. Not feeling as bloated either. May have to test this over the next week.
Challenge starts tomorrow, wonder what will be my first picture goal!
 
So i'll try to keep this seperate from the advent challenge now.

Exercise- Gym + cardio class

Food-
Breaky- same
Lunch- Salmon sandwich, with mayo, tomato, multigrain bread.
Snacks- Apple, carrot, zucchni chips, Up N Go
Dinner- Meat + 3vegies round at my grandpa's place.

Quieter today, but tomorrow will be busy again.

Waist- 91cm
Calves- 38Cm
Thighs, near knee- 42cm
Upper arms- 28cm
Forearms- 24cm

Normally I just get them done at the gym with my reassessment, but I'll see how these compare in a couple of weeks when I get reassessed.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the nice guy at the gym. He was buff, and said that I had lost a lot of weight and I was looking good *swoon* he was so nice :)

Got up early for a walk today, even though the bed was calling me back...same with the chocolate at the supermarket.

Dinner-Pasta with zucchni, chicked and red kidney beans.
Snacks-Apple, carrot, fruit muffin.
Cals: 1547.
Nutrition split was good too- 53/27/20. best its been for awhile. Carbs could still go down/others up.
Why won't my weight budge?
 
Weight went down to 73 :D Finally :)

Food for today-
Breaky- same
Lunch- Roast beef sandwich
Dinner- Salad, Chicken rissoles, scrambled eggs, bacon and beef.
(Weird eating)
Snack- apple
Will eat some carrot and zucchni in a bit for vegies.
Exercise- cardio class + time on treadmill :)
 
72.5 :D New low!
I haven't weighed this little since about year 7 or 8 high school...might have even been heavier then!

Yesterdays food was pretty much the same. I was in the city for dinner though, but it was only with my bf so I got sushi! No fatty junk food for me :D
I also had some pecan tart last night :( My bf is good. There were lots of people waiting for a tram so I said we should just go get a cookie at subway. He said that If i'm going to be unhealthy, I may as well get a nicer cake from somewhere else. He also made sure I only ate half of it then wrapped up the rest for another day. :)

Exercise- gym workout. Getting a little unmotivated towards my current program. Only got 7 workouts left on it though, so I should finish it by christmas :) Might see about a shorter program next time :)

Today- Chocolate tour around the city. At least i'll be walking around. We'll see how it goes!
 
SOooo I had got down to 72.5, but due to bad eating the scales say im back up to 73.5. This may just go down again within the next couple of days though. It better :(

Yesterday was my dads 50th, so its not like I'm not going to eat cake (only had a thin slice) and drink some champagne. At least I ordered a salad when we went out for dinner. But stupid scales...

Ah well, time to get back on track...just in time for mum's b'day on Friday...
 
Got to the gym today :)
Getting very hard to do some of the weights, glad I'm going in for a new program in the next couple of weeks. Getting very worn out doing this program- which is making it harder to find the motivation.

Food for today was going very well today up until dinner- I was round at my parents place, and my mum was cooking from the atkins diet book. Soooo much butter and cream! My fats are so high today. And she still put the cream on the potato, which shouldn't be in the atkins book anyway?
Total cals- up around 2000 I'm pretty sure. Total logged is 1750, but I may have had more than that.
Breaky- Yogurt and all bran
Lunch- Turkey sandwich- alfalfa, tomato, mayo.
 
Feeling a little sick today. Still got to the gym- but it was a hard workout.
Also went to Kung Fu :D At a different place, so there was lots of new people :)

Food:
Breaky- Same
Lunch- Sandwich (turkey)
Snacks- Protein shake, apple, apricot, carrot
Dinner- Wholemeal pasta + bol sauce
 
Friday- Had extra time to go to the gym :D So I caught up on the cardio I missed the other day. Eating was a little off because of my mums birthday :D

Today- Not eating much....Breaky- normal. Lunch- Foccacia. Snack- Apricot and a protein shake. Dinner- Pumpkin soup.
Got to kung fu again today :D And walked around a big shopping centre for 3hrs looking for pressies :D

Weight- it was down to 72 yesterday :D But back to 72.5 today, probably because of the cake. It should go back down though ^^
 
Haven't been updating this as much, because i'm on the other forum more....
Todays food-
Breaky- Normal
Lunch- Roast pumpkin + potato. Beans. Soup.
Snack- cake :( work break up.
Snack- Protein shake
Dinner- Soup again
Water- 3L
Not sure if I'm going to make my christmas goal at this point. 2-2.5kg to go in less than 2 weeks. We'll see
 
Yay, weighed in at 71.5kg this morning! I might make the christmas goal yet!

I also tried on a few clothes that I used to wear when I was 14-15 and fitted into them! 2 mini skirts and cargo pants :) size 12-14 :)
Got to the gym today, did my program and a cardio class. Should get to Kung Fu tonight as well :)
 
wow, are you updating your weight everyday. that's a good stuff lol that you're doing. cause it will keep me remind also to always keep up my effort to loose some inches :p

Went to the gym today and managed to stay for a class as well :) just had a protein shake inbetween :)

Dinner- Chicken burgers

If I can get down to 71 tomorrow, then I'm only 1kg away from my christmas goal :D And I have been losing roughly 1kg a week during december, so its totally possible :D
Get to do a reassessment next week, see how I've gone at the gym, and get a new program :D Just in time for christmas...

Only need one more pressie for christmas now, so I'm doing well :D
