So I just wanted to drop by real fast and say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone....I am truly thankful that I found this forum you guys are the best ...a true blessing!!! Hoping everyone who is celebrating this day is enjoying it with love and laughter...and a little craziness...it always helps!! haha....and to all my non turkey day friends...I am wishing you a day of same :)
 
AHey Tete just dropping by! A good tip for the holiday's, don't eat while standing up. Beat it into yourself that if you need to eat, only eat while sitting, it will cut back on mindless snacking around the kitchen.

I hope you do well this week :) and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

GET ON HERE NOW!!!!! You are not allowed to eat badly any more. I won't let you. I mean it- DON'T EAT RUBBISH! Start the diet again tomorrow. You can do it, if you don't you are going to regain lots of weight, and you will be sitting there padded out with fat, feeling absolutely crap about yourself and wondering why you didn't back on the bandwagon a couple of weeks after falling off. You can be on the road to being really slim right now- whats the point in waiting weeks or months to start again? Because you will start a diet again at some point, and when you do, and succeed, which you will, you will wish that you had done it sooner. So get prepared.... Plan healthy meals and find a fun exercise, and DO IT! NOW!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
 
AO rainbow it wasn't to bad this weekend...Had a really good Friday ....was negative 618 calories for the day.....Saturday started really good then we went out to dinner and a movie with friends and I am plus 211 for the day....so im still at a deficent for the weekend of 407.... Not great...but at least its something....I exercised 2 hours this week....shooting for 4 for next week.. I can feel my motivation coming back ...its not 100% but its there.....I'm determined to be 50 pounds lighter in 2011!!!
 
After a break its always difficult to get right back where we left things.But i see you are doing great,didnt overeat on the weekend and i agree with trying for 4 hours this week on exercise.it does wonders plus you get to eat more cals!!!!!

I always say i am too going to work out so much and never get to doing it.I will try this week as well!!!
 
I'm really glad. It just sounded to me like you had lost all hope. Which is why I was all shouty.

AJasper...we will get our 4 hours in this week....we can do it! :) :) :)

Rainbow....I did a hour of Zumba and an hour DVD walking tape....plus I was pretty active in general...not a lot of downtime this weekend.

Frogged...there is a lot of love behind that big text so I don't mind her yelling a bit...lol. :hurray:


So this is the first time I have sat in front of the actual computer in days....I have been using my phone as we are running around to read up on everyone......but its hunting season tomorrow and my youngest is a big hunter ...so we are getting him ready....and I am trying to get my house done, since I have one more day off for the holiday...so I got our family room done tonite....i tell you I got a work out....carried all the boxes up from the basement....and did all the decorating and the clean up....this was all my choice as I knew I wasn't going to make it to Zumba ...so I wanted to do as much my self as possible.

So here is my tree and fireplace...hoping to get the sunroom and kitchen done tomorrow...but those are just small jobs :)

wow, that simply cannot be your home, it looks like the cover of Better Homes and freakin Gardens! Seriously makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, you're very talented! Definitely just hit me with a case of holiday cheer!
 
AAweeee :grouphug: lol...thanks ladies...it is my house...can't you see the crazy clutter of a fridge in the back ground...haha...but my boys or the hubby have never gotten in to decorating the tree with me...they always say how nice...love the house all decorated....we just find other xmas traditions to do together...so i take the chance to have something girly in the house for a bit.

I actually had a facebook "friend" rudely comment on a photo of my tree once...saying "its pretty but I want my tree to represent my family...not a department store!" ....it made me feel really bad...and I probably inhaled 2 dozen cookies afterwards....but have since learned " to each their own" ...and am still learning the not to emotionally eat....especially this time of year!!

So making chili and chicken&dumplings today for the great big bad deer hunters....I calculated the chili at about 220 for a cup and the dumplings at 210 a cup....I am more a dumpling girl...haha...so I think its going to be that with nice big side salad for dinner....and my total should be at 1290 for the day...even enjoying my yummys....not to bad ;)

If I had the money to decorate, my tree would be so covered in white decorations it would be hilarious lol.

I agree that its nice when kids help decorate it, but when Lily is helping me decorate the tree I will be like a naz dictator telling her what things to put on each branch lol. The people who say stuff like that bitchy woman said probably just have appalling homes and they are trying to make themselves feel better. Like my mother used to dress me in rags, and she was always over vocal about people who dressed their kids nicely, like there was something wrong with it, probably cos she felt ashamed.

I have been having fun buying Christmas decorations, but mine are all purple and pink (and black and silver) to match my front room :)Wish they were more classy now looking at your tree.

You don't seem quite yourself, did everything go okay while you were on holiday? x
 
I saw the photo and said "that cant be from a real house!!!" it is absolutly GORGEOUS!!THE living room is like a christmass tale!!!!I wish my home looked like that all dressed up for the holidays!!!!

I cant belive you got that stupid comment on fb.....................what can i say?maybe your stunning xmass decorations just make some people feel bad about their taste and decoration choices!!!

Suddenly our little Canaan Fur tree my roommate and I picked up the other day and setup seems a little disgraceful in comparison, lol! We may have to put up some more lights or something! :p


Anyway, Tete, your setup is as lovely as you are! Your family is going to have a beautiful Christmas!

Thanks for the love ...lovely!!! ....you do have fabulous taste and your decorations sound so fun and youthful!! As to not being "me"....I'm ok...I think...haha...just busy....I guess....hopefully ...now you have me wondering..haha.

Thanks both of you...you both made me smile and giggle a bit :) :) ...anyone who knows me personally knows that my house is a home and it is well lived in!! and 99% of the time there is mud and messes abundant....lol.....I just like it pretty for the season thats all :) :)
 
A:hurray: Had an awesome day....1230 in calories and burned 550 at Zumba....feels great to have a steady game plan for a few weeks till Christmas. Looking forward to a hot new outfit for New Years....so I have to get this bumm moving!!!!!!
