I'm happy to report that I've finally broken through the 152 limit and I'm a solid 151. I haven't been focusing very much on tracking every little thing because I've been so busy. I have been working out around 3 times a week (last week I spent 3 hours in the gym in one day alone) and trying to eat pretty well. I've discovered not eating after 8 pm makes for a much lighter weigh in the next morning. Lol.

I'm going to Santa Barbara this week to testify in a Grand Jury trial so I'm hoping to enjoy some healthy central coast delicacies.

I'm probably going to continue to be busy but I'll be checking in to keep me accountable. When I go on the South Beach Diet again I'll probably start posting more to record how my body responds.

I'm back from Santa Barbara! It was great out there after all the trial stuff was done BUT man did I eat a lot. There were so many places I wanted to try!

Here's a sample of what I ate:

Breakfast Scramble from Finestra Cafe
Ceviche from Blue Agave
Pepper Mason Jar Martinis, gumbo, jambalaya, etc from Palace Grill
Goat cheese pancakes with smoked salmon, caviar and creme fraiche from Montecito Cafe

I am feeling super heavy AND very sluggish. I'm starting South Beach today to jump start the metabolism again. Also swearing off alcohol for the next few weeks to achieve optimum metabolism. Back to the gym too. I haven't been in over a week. Boo!

Today I'm headed to the Bob Saget Comedy Show and we might stop in at Disneyland for dinner. I'm thinking a salad with soup is right up my alley.
