Losing 40 Pounds. 20 Pounds down!

Congrats and keep up the great work! Isn't it awesome to get to breeze past exercise that used to seem really hard?

Your tats are pretty badass! Part of me really, really wants to get a half sleeve, but I'm kind of a wuss about it. :p
 
Awesome man keep it up. This is going to be motivation for me because I'm around the same starting weight (Although I'm 6'3 so idk how tall you are) and have about the same target weight as you. You're gonna look badass getting buff with that tattoo.

ms.hodge... What were you thinking about getting tattooed? Honestly if I was you I'd get something a little smaller first to make sure you actually do like the way they look on your body and that everyone around you is accepting of them. A half sleeve is a pretty big decision! I'll post some more tattoo pics too when I get my new pics up!

Nice work man. I know what you mean about pushups and stuff like that getting easier. I weighed 279lbs early this spring but I'm down to 241lbs right now, just from eating smarter (every 3 hours but SMALL meals instead of LARGE ones) and drinking water instead of soda etc. I couldn't even do 1 pushup when I started and I can do 15-20 now, it's great. I've still gotta lose another 50lbs or so though. Keep on truckin' I suppose! If I can get down to 180-190 it'll be the skinniest I've ever been in my entire life, haha. Keep it up!!
 
So I got down to 198 now. It's awesome to be under 200 again it's been probably 4 years since I have been below. I havent taken a new picture yet because the difference isn't super big yet. I will post one next monday I should hopefully be around 195 by then!

I have been saving my Mondays to be not as strict on my diet... I have band practice and drink some beer and eat taco bell and somehow last Tuesday I had still lost a pound from Monday... Could this be a good thing by keeping my motabolism confused or whatever and not letting it plateau?
 
Added an updated picture of 197. I think I can tell my arm is getting a lot smaller and my stomach and chest are way more defined. What do you think?

I found some older pictures too I'll post them tonight.

I THINK IT'S A good idea to keep a day to splurge a little bit...i did that while i was on Weight Watchers and it always helped keep my metabolism 'in check'.
