Watch your Diet very carefully. watch what you are taking. Don't take oily or spicy food and avoid junks. A food rich in protein with proper balance of carbohydrates and fibers are ideal ... Try to drink as much water as possible...More water intake would flush out your metabolic waste products from your system and ensure your body maintains proper balance....Less Metabolic wastes in your body means that they would not inhibit the enzymatic reactions that occur within your body and thus help your metabolism go at its full power.
Also don't consume more at one go and make it a habit to take many meals....What happens is if you don't consume more at one go then mostly all your calories are going to be burnt and chances of unburnt calories which increase your weight and lead to complications are reduced.....
