Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

I'm on page 169 of my diary. Nice.

Anyway, 176 on the scale this morning as my attempts to undo much of the damage I've done the last few months are proceeding nicely. Pull workout today; IE, pullups, rows, curls, etc.

Have to remember to call my parents today. Hopefully typing that out will help me remember...

Forgot to weigh myself this morning before I ate. But after two cups of coffee, a bowl of oatmeal and a strawberry, I weighed 176.5. So I'm guessing I would have been down from yesterday's 176.

Off to the gym.

175 this morning. Today's my day off from workouts! Yay!

Heading over to the parents for my early birthday celebration. It's not until next week, but it's hard meeting up in midweek sometimes. So we're doing it today. Been saving up calories all week so that I can have birthday cake and not hurt my mom's feelings.

Okay, the last three weigh-ins were 179, 177 and 176.5. Birthday celebration on Sunday added some water weight.

Speaking of which, today is, in fact, my birthday. Going to begin the celebrations with leg day at the gym. After that, who knows.

Last two days, 176.5 and 177. Would've guessed today's would go down instead of up, but whatever. People have been mentioning that I look like I've been getting thinner, so maybe I'm gaining some muscle to give that appearance.

Any day I feel like I did extra good on my diet and exercise, I gain. I'd like to think it's muscle or just something inside moving around throwing me off but the days I lose something seem to come when I don't really expect it to.

:) You´re going to be ripped. Keep doing kind things for your body and at some point it´ll not only be lean, fit and awesome, you might even start seeing you´re a person who´s worth getting kind things.

177.5 this morning. Starting to get a touch confused. Today is my one cardio day for the week, so we'll see what happens. Not gonna freak just yet.

the scale is misleading. Ignore it. If you are eating healthy and exercising, you are doing the right things. The scale will go up and down and can vary depending, not just calories, but, among other things, water retention, bathroom visits and muscle gains

176 this morning. Checked my waist and it's at 30.7. That's roughly what my waist size was before in the 170 range, so it does seem like there's been some muscle added. This goes with the "you look even skinnier" comments I've been getting lately. All good signs.

I've had one beer in the last four months and that was only because a woman in a bar I was having dinner at offered to buy me one. I figured I should play it cool. Anyway it turns it was just because it was my birthday, but since I didn't go on a binge afterward and stagger home, I consider it a success.

A ranking of the non-alcoholic beers I've tried:

1. St. Pauli Girl
2. Clausthaler
3. O'Douls
4. Beck's
5. Coors (the only truly awful one and not really drinkable)

Unfortunately they all rank below a standard light beer like a Coors Light or Miller Lite. They're all somewhat sweet tasting. A 12 fl oz bottle of each is anywhere from 65 to 100 calories.

Apparently the State of Arizona forces bars to stock at least one NA Beer, which is a law I disagree with, but at the moment happens to work in my favor.

Today's completed workout: squats, deadlift, lunges, leg extensions, standing calf raises
