Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

270 again this morning. Just back from basketball.

Model says 270 even this morning as well. Also added a new feature on to my model which predicts my current pants size based on the predicted weight. I bought a pair of 46 jeans on March 13, that fit perfectly at the time. So the numbers are scaled to that. So the dates when I shall need new pants:

May 3, 2013: 262 pounds, size 44.
June 26, 2013: 247 pounds, size 42.
August 24, 2013: 232 pounds, size 40.
October 27, 2013: 217 pounds, size 38.
January 5, 2014: 202 pounds, size 36.
April 1, 2014: 186 pounds, size 34.

And for grins:

July 7, 2014: 171 pounds, size 32. :)

Wow, you keep track of so much!! As long as it works for ya!

You
will
get
there-
size 34,
at least!
Not a dream at all.
Not an unrealistic projection.
Your path.

269 this morning. New low! Yay!

Did some mountain hiking as I got out early enough for it not to be too bad. 64 minutes and 51 seconds with an average heart rate of 134 (and a max of 167) for a total of 963 calories burned total and 847 calories net (total burned minus what I would burn typing on the computer). Will definitely try out some other trails if I can get out one or two more times before it gets too hot.

Thinking about going in for a six month checkup with the doc, rather than waiting for the full year. I feel like maybe with the unusual nature of my situation (106 pounds lost and 54 since I saw him last in late October) it might warrant going in after six months just to make sure something hasn't gone terribly wrong. I really am kinda winging this thing by myself. I feel great, so I'm probably good, but I'm a worrier so...

Have been toying with the idea of adjusting my diet a little. I'm very happy with the weight loss, but I wonder about my muscle building. I'm probably not getting enough protein for the amount of strength training I'm doing. This would probably only involve having leaner meats more often and pasta about half as much as I currently do. On the other hand, I'm having success beyond my wildest dreams right now so I'm a little hesitant to change much. Thoughts?

Whey protein is a low calorie and high protein. You can supplement your diet instead of changing it. It comes in plain, flavored, sugar or artificial sweetners. The plain unsweetened tastes a little like dirty socks smell.

I mixed the plain into oatmeal or cereal milk and it was fine.

I'm guessing that testimonial will not be making it onto their website. :)

I have some unopened, I should probably start using it. Looks like 100 cals per 26g, about 80% of that coming from protein. On cereal mornings, I can probably use it. I wonder how it would taste inside instant mashed potatoes? :ack2:

267.5 to start the new week.

After three days without personal training, I now have it for two days straight. Body feels good, or at least as good as its gonna.

My food scale was acting up yesterday, and so I fear it may be on its last legs even though it seems to be working again this morning. For me it's an important portion control tool. Will set aside a little cash for a new one when it's necessary. I wonder what kind of bells and whistles you can get on one of these...

Wow! Whey to go, MrVee! Your losses are truly AWESOME!

I'm never going to catch you if you keep this up! Have you thought about adding pizza to your daily cals?
Builds muscle, ya know... :D

I just don't want you to hit goal then disappear from this site... we need you setting the pace.

I won't disappear, I need somewhere to post gratuitous pics of my physique!

I actually had pizza last night by the way.

I meant everyday....every.....day. No point in doing anything half way, my friend. :)

I would like to see you find a person who weighs as much as you have lost (now or at some point in the future) and pose side by side in a pic. That would be pretty dramatic.

I'm way behind on diaries, so I skimmed to catch up. Great pics! You can see such a great change in them! And way to go on getting into the 260's! I like Don's pic idea by the way... you should definitely do that! lol!

Thanks Don and Jen. Maybe I'll go down to the and have one of the servers there take a picture with me, for educational purposes of course.

Anyway, the with my data fed in (going from 375 to my current model weight of 369.3) says that I will reach 185 pounds exactly on April 7, 2014; a year from yesterday. So I guess I'm now less than a year away from my goal if all continues to go as planned.

We have the same mini goal - under 250!!

You are doing fab - you probably gonna reach your goal weight as projected - so far it's been working out fine!

Um, glancing at the front page of that site, you may need to get two of them in your pic to match your 105 lbs lost. Just trying to help...
