Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

Congrats on the smaller sizes! It's great that you have the opportunity to resale your old clothes - I should find something similar!

266 this morning and the model says 266.1.

My day off from personal training today, but the weather is supposed to be absolutely gorgeous, so I think I'm going mountain hiking today. {begins yodeling}

Ah, nothing like a good yodel to refresh you in the morning.

Just as it's getting cold here, everyone is talking about the weather getting "gorgeous" :( No, seriously I'm happy for you! I'm glad we're going to be away for one month of it at least. Enjoy your hike! I wondered what that weird noise I heard earlier- you yodelling!

A good yodel? LOL ! You always make me giggle.

I hope you have a good hike, we are in for tornadoes today again....

265 this morning.

Bought a pair of blue jeans online yesterday, so I should get those in a cuppla days. Took some clothes into the second hand shop, they took most of them for consignment, so let's hope they sell!

Thinking about making a doctor's appointment. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with me physically (mentally? Different story), but whereas I usually would be going once a year for the annual physical, I'm thinking maybe in this special case I should probably go twice this year. It will be six months since my last visit on April 30, and at that point it should be about 60 pounds lost in those six months. That's an awful lot of weight and maybe this one year it will be worth it to get an extra once over since my body is making such a dramatic change.

I think that's a good idea. My friend recently lost a lot of weight and she went for a check up and found she had low blood pressure--Might be worth going just to put your mind at rest. Plus it's always nice when they weigh you and tell you how much you've lost ;)

Check your blood sugar and blood pressure. Main indicators. Make the differential diagnosis a little bit easier with a diary of how you feel, anything "off". Be descriptive too. Any hair loss? lost in libido?

I think I'm just bitter about my own $40 co-pay....

I have never bought clothing online (well except once when I was maybe 14, we ordered some stuff from the sears catalogue, so still not really online). I just wouldn't be able to tell what fits and looks good if I can't try it on! Plus sizes vary SO much. I currently have a size 8 and a size 12 that both fit me about the same (both too big)!!
Hope your jeans work out for you!! I really need to bring my old clothes to Value Village or something.

It's a little easier for guys, particularly with pants. With shirts sometimes it depends on the shirt. The last time I ordered they fit just about perfect.

Good idea re the doctor's visit. I thought my health would have improved considerably after I lost 36kg & I'm sure it did overall, but my cholesterol went sky high, which was a big shock! Good news on the smaller sizes & new clothes. How did the hike go?

Mystic made me feel old. There wasn't online shopping when I was 14. I'd never used a computer when I was 14 for that matter.

V outstanding work as usual 265 is outstanding! I imagine you'll be pleasantly surprised by your doctor visit.

Ah the Commodore 64, the good old days...

264.5 this morning.

I apparently have bradycardia (a resting heart rate under 60). Testing my heart rate with my heart rate monitor last night and a couple of times this morning while lying in bed, all three times it gave a resting heart rate of 56 BPM. Even when I sit at my desk and just look at the watch it drops down into the 56 or 57 range.

Now this is normal for athletes, but I'm 265 pounds regardless of how much I've been working out. Hmm...

It's the real you Mr Vee.....waiting.....just waiting to come out! I'm feeling slightly insane today & having trouble relaxing and/or feeling like I am organised for this trip. My resting heart rate is always under 60 too & I'm far from being an elite athlete (& almost 60!) I'll test it now on my iphone app, just for fun- it's probably through the roof!
It ranged from 55-59! I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves, but really I'm a woman of steel! OMG! :willy_nilly:

You're doing great!! Though your weight maybe doesn't reflect it just yet, you have been very active for a good while now and your heart can tell!

264 this morning. It may not seem like it with all the '264.5's but that's actually a new low.

Highs of 87 or higher the next 9 days according to the weather. So the mountain hiking is done for a while unless I start getting up real early. So I went yesterday and did well. They're resurfacing the basketball court at my health club, but it's a chain so I could drive to the next nearest club if I wanted to play.

Took my blood pressure at the grocery store and it said 138/77. That's not so good, but I'll take it on a different machine and see what it says.

Waiting for the windshield replacement guy to show up. :toetap05:

I went to the doctor recently and she said I had high blood pressure, but I don't know what it is now that I've been exercising again.

Went to two different stores with BP machines (ah big city life) and got readings of 139/78 and 135/75...

Hope the blood pressure looks better soon. I hear you about the hiking. It's starting to get hot and sticky where I am too, so I'll probably be on hiatus pretty short here soon.

262! on Sunday morning. This drops my "move the poise" date another day to June 11.

And today is rest day. No exercise but I have a lot of housework to do. One of these days I'll get around to hiring a housekeeper.

It's April 21 and it seems like this month has just flown by. I think with doing taxes and the job, I've been so busy it just made the time fly by.

Whoa! 262 is awesome! You'll be in the 250s in no time.

Whatever your BP is exercise and losing weight is what you need so it should be improving. I know I don't look at things like BP when I'm gaining. I need to take a look at mine. I bought a home BP monitor years back, but the cuff wouldn't fit around my arm (depressing). I need to dig it out and see if it fits now.
