Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

261.5 again this morning.

Went a little over calories at the parents' house yesterday, but whatever. I think I was probably still at a small deficit, but 'one-offs' really don't matter either way (as long as they don't start become 'two-offs' and three-offs').

Officially, yesterday was the first of the 'trips' this year. A high of 100 even. Nice to be able to do a little swimming to help cool off. Looks like we still have some decent weather coming for a few more weeks, but by the time May ends it's gonna be all sorts of hot. Nights will still be pretty nice though. Maybe I'll flip things and try and sleep from 9 am to 5 pm. I probably won't.

Personal training today, and I believe today is going to be the dreaded "legs" day.

High of 100? oh wow! defo swimming pool time! It sounds pretty hot to me.

I hope you had a good session with the personal trainer!

375-261.5 = ideal weight for a small framed, 5'1" woman according to a random chart found on google

so congrats on losing that extra human already.

261 on the final day of April. Let's go to the graph:

So very pretty.

More personal training today and the weather tomorrow is cooling off to 92, so I might be able to do some exercise outside tomorrow. One of my paychecks came yesterday! Yes!

Thanks for popping in FG. Yes I have lost more than a next-door neighbor. She has a dog that weighs about 45 pounds. It's a puppy and when it sees something that interests it, the dog takes off. I'm afraid that one of these days the dog is going to drag her bouncing down the street as she can't weigh more than 95 pounds. It jerks her forward pretty good, but so far she's been able to control it.

Nicely done! I have to start using my spreadsheet. I don't know why I haven't. You'll be in the 250s in very short order.

Mr Vee, I know the next time I check in you will be into the 250s - AMAZING!! You are really so inspirational and your loss is a big motivator for me.

I hear ya on the 37 degrees (100F) - its a killer and its only gonna get worse. If you have a pool near you, just jump in and do some exercise.

Stay cool:coolgleamA:

260.5 on May Day comrades.

It is the very first day of May, so that means it's time for pictures. The images you are about to see are graphic, viewer discretion advised.

First off a comparison from today and December:

Today makes 10 months of this little self improvement project. 304 days to be exact. Down 114.5 pounds, and down 50 in the last 5 months.

Baseball game tonight.

Today's weigh-in = 259! Into the 250s (dehydrated likely) I go.

Last personal training session of the week today. Glad this session is in the afternoon as my minor hangover should be cleared by then. Didn't drink all that much, but I was light on food calories yesterday in anticipation of the drink calories. It's always a stupid idea but I keep doing it. At least I tried to make sure my food calories were nutrient rich (lots of protein and vitamins, not a lot of fat or carbs) yesterday.

Starting to work just the smallest amount of jogging in. I feel like a little bit (a minute) here and there now might help better build stabilization muscles for when the weight drops and I can safely do more of it. It's the one thing where "weight is weight" regardless. It's just not a good idea to have those 260 pounds come pounding down on my knees and ankles repetitively for very long.

You are in the 250s!!!! wooohooooo! awesome job!
Thanks for sharing the pix - you look great - and so does your graph! Awesomeness!!! :D

Fairly mild out right now, so I'm gonna pop in quick and then head out to the mountain before it gets too hot.

Two straight nights of beers at the bar has caused the big drop, 257.5 this morning. Obviously it's water weight but it does suggest that the 261s from earlier in the week involved carrying around a lot of extra water. It's still fascinating to me how the scale moves in jumps and stalls. I guess that's why being patient is important: if you let a 'stall' get you down too much, you might give up even when something is actually in the process of working. Last Friday's weigh-in was 263. That's nearly three weeks worth of losses in one week, meaning that another 257.5 next Friday still has me way ahead of pace.

That's a huge drop. I haven't seen you have much of a rebound in weight in a long time. I hope it sticks for you and I hope you have a good time on the mountain. It was 41 this morning which is ridiculously cool for early May in east Texas. The weather is more like early March. No complaints here.

258 on Saturday morning.

Checking my spreadsheet full of numbers, at the current rate it looks as if my waist size should drop below 40" before my birthday in August.

Mountain hiking was good yesterday, though I wasn't quite as spry as my last mountain hike. I had been out wooing the ladies (IE making an ass of myself) the night before so that probably explains it. Not really capable of talking to a woman in a bar without at least three beers in me.

Anyway, thinking some basketball today, and then getting as much work done as possible before heading over to visit the parents.

It doesn't have to be beer. Apparently grasshoppers do the trick too. Good job on the Woo related activities!
