Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

We need to get you on the talk show circuit and soon. Your recent huge weight drop following nights out drinking beer is the stuff of legend.
I can see the headlines now:
"American Obesity Epidemic Ends Thanks to the Beer Diet!" :patriot:

Hey mrVee, how do you predict waist size? Is that formula in your spreadsheet you shared a few months back? I still use your spreadsheet and LOVE IT. Would love the waist size equation to if you don't mind sharing! :)

I found a data sample online and created a formula from it (and then modified it to fit my current numbers), but unfortunately it only contained men. For someone my age and height, it worked out to roughly seven and a half pounds per one inch lost. So to lose 10 more inches, I need to lose about 75 more pounds.

I think it's probably much more difficult to predict waist size for women based on weight regardless.

Anyway 261 this morning as the dehydration has disappeared.

Have a very busy week ahead of me.

Sorry for the rebound, but it probably just puts you back on pace.

Do you have a title or link for the data sample?

Also I've managed to lose an inch for every 3.2 pounds lost. I guess that's a product of carrying almost all of my fat at my belly and going from sedentary to highly active in that time period. That or I'm due for a massive stall in inches lost or massive drop in pounds to reach that average.

I would be interested in the link for the data sample too Mr Vee. I'm also jealous of your beer consumption and your ability to lose weight... how do you manage that?!

Meebers bejeebers am I sick right now. I dunno what the hell I ate, but from about 7 last night until now my stomach's been doing constant backflips. My 100% personal training attendance record may be in doubt, but I'm thinking I'm going to go give it the ol' college try in about an hour anyway.

258.5 this morning, though, truth be told, who knows what the hell my weight means right about now.

I made it. He took it 'easy' on me and we did 25 minutes on the treadmill. Worked up a nice sweat and didn't feel sick. Hopefully I've already seen the worst of this.

Hoping that this little ordeal means I'll be out of the 260s for good now. Certainly helps with the diet, I have to force my self to eat something...

I can't believe you made it to your workout even while being so sick! Hopefully you'll get it out of your system soon. Feel better!

Feeling about 100 times better this morning, so I think I'm finally past this thing.

256.5 this morning, which makes a bunch of sense all things considered. Will leave it at that. My weight has jumped around all over the place the last week.

Beautiful weather today and no personal training, which usually would mean a trip out to the mountain. But on top of mountain is definitely where I don't want to be if this thing comes back.

Behind on work and a busy rest of the week means I have to work like crazy today.

Well done on making the training session despite the illness. Nice of the trainer to go easier on you although considering a 25 minute training session on the treadmill easy is another great indicator of how far you've already come.

Hi MrVee, I've wanted to read your entire diary for quite some time now, but haven't been able to. For now, I just read the last several pages (will try to further back soon). Your dedication is remarkable and you're yet another great inspiration to have around here. Especially the fact that you put in a workout even though you were so sick. I personally, probably would not have been so tough about it. Job well done there! And, I'm glad you're feeling better now. :)

In one of your recent posts here you mentioned how frustrating it is when the scale stalls and that it's important to not give up. I agree 100%! I had a previous stall at around 211lb. I had a big drop down to 203lb, but now I'm stuck at around 208lb. The scale is playing a dirty trick on me! I know I didn't eat nearly enough to gain 5lb that quickly and I've been exercising enough to burn some of it off, but here I am sitting at 208lb. It is frustrating, but I'm not giving up on myself. :)

Keep up the great work!

Just popping in quickly and then I have to split. 256.5 again this morning.

A quick note: this is day 312 of the process. The NIH model says I will reach 185 pounds on day 617, which, of course, is 305 days away.

For some reason being closer to the end than the start (time wise) is a nice little treat for me.

257 on Saturday morning. Tomorrow is Mother's Day and am playing golf with Mom and Dad.

And the good times are over when it comes to the weather I'm afraid. From now until fall the weather is going to alternate from: hot, really hot and really really hot. The bad news is that I don't quite have my beach body yet, the good news is that we don't actually have any beaches.

No workout of any kind today. Rest day.

Enjoy your rest V! It has been crazy mild here so far and I'll take it. I wore a sweater to work this past week, in May. That was no biggy in Seattle, but East Texas is usually humid and mid 90s by May. No complaints here. Sorry your summer has arrived. As someone that has to work in the peak of the heat outdoors I can tell you that you can adjust to the heat, but you lose that adjustment with being out of it for just a couple days and it still sucks even when your used to it. It's just less dangerous.
