Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

197 is a new wonderfulness number. 197!! Glad your ankle is much better. Enjoy your PT, cheers, Cate.

Awesome Vee! When you look at the chart it hardly looks like you've deviated at all. Just a blip. When I sprained my ankle I had tightness, numbness, and the odd sharp pain for quite a while even up to my knee. I was a teen then so I'm sure it will take a bit for an adult. Of course you weigh about 105 pounds less than teen me. :(

And now things get weird. I must have peed about 1,000 times yesterday so I saw this coming: 195 this morning. Obviously a new low.

And that puts me at an even 180 pounds lost. 7.5 pounds from cutting myself in half, 10 pounds away from the tentative "goal" weight. Bizarre.

In any event, to put things in perspective, the 375 pound me would have thought 195 to be unfathomable and yet here I sit.

Man I'm stoked for you! You are out of the woods at ever swinging back to 200. 195 must put you back on or under the curve.

I'm still sticking with the idea that your body retaining fluid while it was healing the ankle. Regardless, WOOHOO!

196 this morning. Had 6 beers last night (4 regular, 2 light) while trying to chase some blues away so I figure I might have been about 150 calories over maintenance. Oh well.

Good job on the weight loss! You are making me even more motivated :)
Read your whole thread, and cant wait to see you on your ultimate goal!

194.5 this Friday morning.

After my regular workout yesterday, I played an hour of full court basketball. So that was one of those extreme exercise days. My ankle is a little tender this morning, but nothing too bad. Was thinking about doing a mountain hike, but maybe I should just take a rest day today. I have personal training tomorrow.

197 this morning.

Sorry about the longish (for me) layoff, not really sure why I wasn't posting. Spring baseball season started yesterday, so I'm probably going to catch my first game (hopefully of many) tomorrow.

Good luck to your DBacks, although I would hope you are a Cubs fan. I had WGN on cable in the late 90s. I miss Harry, Wrigley, and the loveable losers. Quite a trio.

198.5 the morning after my first date in a while. Was a little too nervous and I'm pretty sure it didn't go so well. She was fine, I was not.

Q, you're in the right church wrong pew on the team. Pulling for the White Sox but very realistic about their chances this year. I do root for the D'Backs just cause I'm here.

I was a White Sox fan in the early 90s. I was wearing a White Sox shirt when I first dated my wife. They had a really good run in 93. They missed the world series by 1 game I believe. That's also around the time I stopped following any sport consistently. I watched the Seahawks embarrass Denver in the superbowl and watched the Rangers back to back world series loses. Other than that I watch an odd game now and again. I sporadically follow some MMA and boxing. Watching sports has always been tied to drinking and snacking for me so it's probably for the best that I don't get back into it. I need to be more participant and less spectator. Come to think of it, that applies to much more than sports for me.

Good to hear you went on a date V, even though you don't think it went too well. Hopefully the nerves will dissipate & the next date goes better. Please don't desert us when you get to your goal weight. The forum needs more success stories. Cheers, Cate.

194.5 this morning. I like to see that number.

Today is March 1, which means today is picture day. I'll post them later tonight as I'm in a time crunch: personal training and then going to the Cubs baseball game with my Dad.

And I have no plans to go anywhere any time soon, Cate. I'll be here for as long as here is here.

You're pulling for the White Sox? You, sir, have just won my heart. I've been the enemy at many Cleveland Indians' games when I lived in Cleveland, wearing my White Sox gear, yelling for my boys in black...getting French fries thrown at me at times. You know, good stuff. Good stuff.
