Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

I think it's a sign. Find you a lovely lady, take her out for BBQ. and then hit the trampolines! That plan is surefire and I don't throw terms like "surefire" around lightly.

I would say trampoline then BBQ... the trampoline would be a good ice breaker and also you would find out if she was "up herself" or a fun approachable person... then the BBQ would give a nice chance for a chat...

the other way around - the food might not settle in the jumping...

Congrats on 289!! Thats fab! Agree with Omega - trampoline first then BBQ cause it might get messy the other way around LOL

BBQ you can chill and get to know each other after the ice is broken.

The "foam pit" in the add caught my eye.... am thinking a "foam-pit" just could be romantic...
.. and how great to be feeling fit & energetic...bet 'U didnt' see that one coming eh?...

288.5 on Febyooairy 1. So that's officially 7 months now and 86.5 pounds lost.

Personal training in about an hour. Pretty sure we're going to work on my quads today. My parents are also celebrating 44 years of matrimonial bliss today, so congrats to them. My dad suffered a heart attack and died 23 years ago, but fortunately for all of us he didn't stay that way. He then made a whole bunch of lifestyle changes (I'm guessing that qualifies as the proper motivation) and zombie dad is still with us today. He was 47 and around 225 pounds at the time, and now is 70 and around 195 I'd guess. So happy anniversary to them.

In other news, I was out and had some time to kill so I stopped inside Tommy Bahama's and was browsing. Asked a store worker what sizes they went up to in shirts and he said '2X.' My curiosity got the best of me so I found one and tried it on and it fit. The drop from 3X to 2X is probably the most significant out there, because for the first time in at least 10 years I can actually shop some in normal person stores. I didn't actually buy the shirt, which was a little jerky of me, but it's nice to know I could have.

You're a machine!

I can't wait to be able to buy button up shirts off the rack. I have button up workshirts that I wear in the field to keep from getting scratched up and sunburnt, but they come in 2 varieties : 1. special order 2. overshirts because they don't button.

No eyeball bleach required.. looking good, MrVee!!! You can really see a big difference in the comparison pics! A special location ..hmm?... interesting.

Agree with Jen renee, you are looking good. you got us intrigued with the special location.
thanks for sharing!

Well I have some good news and some bad news on the weight loss front. The good news: rather than head back the other way after several days of rapid weight loss (like I thought it would), the scale really decided to throw me this morning: 286

The bad news: that broke my model. :D

Anyway, I think I'm going to hit the mountains today. The forecast is sunny with a high of 75 (24 Celsius, 297 Kelvin), so I would be foolish not to go take advantage in some way. With the new mountain shoes and the extra weight loss, I should probably just float right up there.

Three weeks until the first baseball games!

Updating the signature to see the new projected 100 pounds loss date and it's: March 17. Oh dear, that's not at all good. I just knew something would go wrong. Combining a natural day to celebrate with St. Patrick's Day is a recipe for disaster! :D

Maybe I should just book a hotel room downtown now (won't cost much more than the cab fare...)

wow on 286 ! ... U show that math-model who is boss !!

March 17th for 100 ...hmmmm??? some green-beer for the celebration maybe???
If that night involves only beer, I will have gotten off a lot easier than last year. The folks from Jameson having girls in tight outfits walk around giving free shots of the stuff pretty much finished me off. And I would have had 100 pounds extra alcohol kevlar to protect me then too.
