Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

The '####' thing usually means an error, but what it really means is that the column isn't wide enough to display what it's trying to say.

I think you have to put in at least three actual weights or else an error will result. 'Pred' means predicted weight and is the column that's essentially the result of the model.

Update: checked it and you only need two actual weights, to avoid the error. And obviously until you get maybe 15 weights entered it won't be all that accurate.

Here's what the model would look like with Quercus' numbers instead of mine:

292 on a rainy Saturday morning. If I'm not mistaken, that's a new low; always a good sign.

No mountain hiking today due to the weather, so it looks like I'll have to get a workout in some other way.

Have not heard back from the police on the theft of my $60 bicycle. Maybe I'm wrong, but I suspect that they may not be treating my case as their #1 priority.

Yay on the new low!!
I am still waiting for the police to send my accident report to my insurance and my accident was in SEPTEMBER!!!

Thanks for the weight model Mr.Vee! I'll give John Walsh a call about that bike. You have thoroughly kicked the 290s ass!

Thanks MrVee!!!!!!

Yeah, I don't think my stolen 27" iMac was a priority either. Being a tenant of a police captain came with zero benefits.

Well, whether this was wise or not, I have a report. I kinda know that Saturday mornings and early afternoon are pickup basketball games at the gym, because the kids are out of school and everyone else has the day off. And so I played some pickup basketball, and by "some" I mean over two hours worth.

Here are the numbers:

134 minutes and 42 seconds, minimum heart rate 75, maximum 175, average 151. Total calories burned 2410. Net calories (IE, calories on top of what I would have burned at home watching the food network) burned 2158.

It's now off to Mesa, Arizona to see some friends who are in town. We are going out to eat tonight, but frankly I'm pretty sure there's not much I can do to go over calories today. Probably will not do anything silly like french fries anyway, I'd just as soon feed my muscles with proteins and such if I eat a few extra calories.

Holly Molly - your exercise is awesome!!! Go you!! :cheers2::cheers2:

Well done on your new low!! You are doing this weight loss thing the right way.

292 again on Sunday morning.

Sunday is normally the day of rest for me, and after yesterday it's definitely one. Took a couple of Advil this morning, but even before I took them the soreness wasn't really too bad.

Super Bowl Sunday is in one week, and what that really means for me is that Spring baseball here in Arizona is just a few weeks away. I'm even going to fit in the seats at the stadium better. On my first game of the year, without fail, I feel like I'm 8 years old again. The smells of the stadium actually generate a picture in my mind from all the way back then; a day when it was opening day and I was stuck trying to come up with some believable way to feign illness and stay home from school to watch the game.

It's kinda nice that this year I get to experience it when I have so much else to look forward to as well. Hopefully anyway.

I can SO relate to the stadium seats dilemma.

Being and avid college football fan living in a town with a decent PAC12 team, I LOVE to see them play. But I usually opt for bench seating rather than the quality preformed seats due to the width of the seat and the lessened legroom.

Are you in Phoenix proper? I lived in Ahwatukee for a couple of years... also Tempe/Mesa.

Oh bless you!! :) Don't you just love that smell, a treasured memory - that transports you back to your childhood?

I don't think you ll have a problem at all fitting in the seats at all - you are doing really great!!

291.5 on a rainy Monday morning. It's an Advil morning I think.

Personal training times have gotten early enough now that it's like actually having to wake up and go to a job. Fortunately it's a one and a half hour a week job, but still. :D In any event, it's good for me and will probably make me feel like I have longer days with which to get things accomplished. But this early, my typing skills are roughly the same as when I'm drunk.

My goal for January 31 was 291 and so I need to lose this last half a pound by Thursday to make it.

Not a football or baseball fan so can't comment that way haha!
Well I think we all have these things in our lives that have always been there and bring us comfort. Sounds like for you riding is a lot like that. If there were gaps of a few months every year where you couldn't ride, when those gaps would come to an end, you can imagine how much you'd anticipate starting up again.

For me it's always been baseball. Now how I've followed the game over the years has changed dramatically, but even with all of those changes it still brings out that same comfort and familiarity.

Sometimes I notice I'm kind of a weird person. Math, sports, philosophy, weight loss and drinking. All in one bizarre package! :D

291.5! Hokey Smokes! Yay!
I am lucky my riding goes all year round, though the competitions do have a break and the big classes I go to watch happen during the summer months so you always look forward to that!

290.5 this morning. That's a nice drop.

No personal training today, but I'll need to work out. I think it won't be basketball as I should take it a little easy there after Saturday. I could do a weekday mountain hike, but though the rain appears to be gone, it rained so much this weekend it's probably still pretty wet up there. So I'm thinking treadmill today. I can hone my people watching skills.

On Friday I will have been at this for 7 months.

Awesome drop and congratulations on 7 months! At this rate you'll be 100 pounds down before spring!
