Sorry if the pictures are massive, ill fix it when i get on the computer.

Start weight: 154 pounds, 11 stone.
Current weight: ''
Goal: 10 stone.

I understand that I maybe dont loose a huge amount of weight (I don't believe my health is affected that much) but i need to tone A LOT - arms and thighs specifically. pictures also seem to make me look smaller.:S

I'll update pictures on 7th June!
 
You're beautiful, lmbb! (love your username btw) :D

Any idea of what you'd like your regimen to consist of? Are you thinking of going to a gym? Do you own any weights such as kettlebells or dumbbells?

At any rate, best of luck to you! Keep us posted on your progress :hurray:

Edit: Ok, I just read your diary post about your regimen, so you can disregard my above question(s) :) It sounds pretty good, but yeah, motivation is tough :\

Sometimes when I'm feeling in need of motivation, I just try to picture all the time in my life that I've wasted being unhappy with my health. How I've always had it in me to change and just didn't. I use that to keep me going knowing that I'm not going to waste another f'in minute of my life contributing to the regret I've accumulated from being overweight for so long. I've wasted a lot of years I'll never get back.

Make the best of the time you have now because you'll never have it again. Do you really want to look back when you're 50, 60, or 70 and think 'What if I had pushed myself a little harder?'

Regret is one of the worst things in the world.

LMBB, you are beautiful! I think this also.

Try lifting weights or doing body excerises (using your own body weight) like push ups, sit ups, hanging curls, and other exercises to tone your body. I've heard though, for the muscles to show (And I don't think you need to lose anymore weight, but that's just my opinion), you have to lose weight for the muscles to show. But to just get an overall toned look, I think body weight exercises would work good!


Frogged, as you know I was obese too. I also felt that the regret was because of my weight. But I found out later it wasn't, it was deeper. It was relations with my parents, addiction to food, addictoin to an online game (which I still have the addiction to). It's difficult but sometimes we associate being overweight or fat as regretful or that makes us less of a person. I wish I would've realized when I was fat, that I COULD get a girlfriend, that I COULD Do anything, because I could've, if I just believed it.

Now that I've lost a ton of weight, I do not feel any different. The feelings; the root of the problem, is still there. I still feel terrible about myself. I still feel women don't like me. I still feel addicted to this damn game. Frogged you're a great source of inspiration for others and you're advice has has helped me and others tremendously, we should accept ourselves though, look at ourselves in the mirror though, no matter how fat, and say we are beautiful, because we are!

Fortunately you already look nice just as you are now ^_^ So pretty and you have a nice shape too.

I read in your diary that you're 5'6 at 154 and your goal is 133.
I'll be watching your progress hun

But i am sure she is pretty.

I've got a sizeable arse too and the good thing about yours is that its perky, so that's something to be happy about. YOu don't need to tone it as such, you just want to lose a bit of the fat coating.

Toning is a something of a misnomer. What it really means or should mean is reduce the thickness of the fat coating and build up some muscle beneath it. It is only the fat that makes us look flabby, not a lack of muscle. But for all that its good to build up a bit more muscle because it makes us burn more calories.

You've also got nice long legs. I am sure you look pretty good even as you are but any extra kilos lost will only accentuate things a little more. For some reason when we are a bit on the lighter side, we look better. Anyway it looks like you haven't got too much to worry about.

Right now, I don't go to the gym - I'm far too shy for that. My dumbells are just 7.5lbs each, and if I reach my goal I'll hopefully upgrade them. I have a terribly old, manual treadmill which I run on and a manual cross trainer which isn't as fun ^^'

Thank you so much for the advice, I've read your story and you've done amazingly and you look great, I'm really happy for you! I have started trying to imagine how I could be if I pushed myself, and it does help (especially as I'm reaching for a chocolate bar or something :eek:) I'm thinking about putting posters in my room of women with great bodies, lol, maybe that would help too. I do wish I had started this earlier, though, I also regret the years I've wasted being unhappy, and feeling like I couldn't go outside, just because of the way I look. But oh well, we can't go back and start a new beginning, but we can start today and make a new ending. :)

SparkErosion - Hey, I'll definitely try some of those! I already do sit ups, and I really want to do push ups too but I think I'm too weak xD I'm going to keep trying though, I'd love to have some nice abs and biceps one day :)

It's such a shame you feel so badly, you have also had an incredible transformation and in time I'm you'll feel better, you deserve to. Anyone woman would be lucky to have such a determined & motivated guy!
We should all try not to judge yourself through other people's eyes. ^^'

Emerald - Hi! Haha, if you say so~ I checked your pictures and you have a great body, I can't see anywhere where you could lose weight! Thank you, knowing that people are keeping an eye on me should keep me on track :)

fourtyfour - Ha, that's what I was wondering :p I'm worried I'll be recognised if I show my face! It's more my thighs I want to tone not my butt, you can't really tell so much from the photos but they do need a lot of work, especially with all the bumps ^^' & lovely toned legs are amazing! If I start going to the gym, I'd aim to gain muscle in that area, not just tone it. I absolutely hate my legs, if I slim them down a bit hopefully they will look even longer - I'll be excited to wear a dress, heh. Something to aim for~~
 
You look lovely, LMBB - I'd honestly say that you don't need to lose weight, but obviously it won't hurt to lose a lil' bit. If what you care about is how you look, then you don't need to worry about that - you look fantastic already.

I believe that you can be pretty in other places than your face you silly billies.

You guys know what I mean. She has a pretty body. LMBB, you have pretty legs, a pretty shape and a pretty stomach ^_^ lol
 
Everyone on here is so lovely and full of compliments :') Thanks guys, I know it's early days but I really do feel more determined, after I worked out a little today I just wanted to go for a jog again straight after I'd finished xD

I think this is the only time anyone's said to me I have nice legs :O! I really hope I see some change next month :)
