You're doing a great job! Just keep it up.

Dont go so much by what the scale reads, but by how you feel after working out and how you feel in your clothes.

i guess so- my clothes do feel looser n i feel great in myself after the gym but its so fustrating when the scales doesnt show ur hard work:( im going out with my sister tomorrow night as a treat
 
Change Of Plan

Wont be going out2night change o plan- kind of glad as it would have messed up my diet big time, im going to the gym today- even though i dont want to and i feel like a failure- i know its daft but if i keep losing only a pound a week(orstaying the same) i wont reach my goal in time:(

Are you on your period or just finishing, or due in the next 7-10 days? If so, most women retain water around the time of the month (I do) and it looks like they are not losing any weight but they are! Yesterday I suddenly dropped 3lbs and I had also finished my period that day. Funnily enough, drinking lots of water can actually help you not retain it :p Don't give up. Just think of how great you'll look for summer :D :D

i finished them about a week or two ago

edit - still had them on 21st of this month not 100% what day i finished them but i know the 21st was around the end of he cycle

was bold last night i went out

But today went to the gym and burned 400 cals and felt GREAT after it- so dont feel as guilty now ha ha
 
oh no

well as you know i went out sat night, and out of guilt i broke my ass in the gym sunday and monday(yesterday), I started running a lil on the tredmill and when i left the gym yesterday one of my calves hurt a lil, my fiance said that was normal, then last night i went for a brisk walk with my sis and half way there i got a shootin pain in my calf i had to stop, i limped the rest of the way home

Today it still hurts, im only home from work and though its not as sore as last night its still stiff and im still limping a little. I didnt go gym today(i normally go after work in the morn) but i dont want to aggravite it

its only 1 of my calves i dont get it

im scared this will ruin my exercise
 
Hi Liz! You're doing great, don't worry. And be sure to enjoy a nice long, easy stretch after working a muscle group. It helps avoid pain and feels so good! Fun to read your diary, I just wish I could hear your accent through your posts!
 
weigh day saturday

dont really know what to think this week i usually have an idea in my head but this week im drawing a blank...

weighed myself last friday morning and lost a pound and burned 200cals in the gym that day

Sat - was down about the only losing a pound and pigged out and drank

Sunday- slapped myself in the face and went to the gym burned 400

Mon - went to the gym burned 400 and walkin with my sis

Tuesday - no gym cos i had pulled my calf muscle

Wed - Gym burned 400

Today- No gym, just plain lazy :(

....

Basically 2mr im hopin 2 burn 400ish again and sat morn before the gym ill weigh myself

I was bold saturday last but since then was good regarding the gym and my cals - and 2 weeks ago i said any loss is weight loss, but then got so upset when i only lost a pound, guess i was disappointed.

Im hoping ill lost 2 this week- im PRAYING i will, 2 people commented on my weight loss 2 day, thrown out most of my 18 and 20 clothes, iv lost inches i know by my clothes and i guess i shouldnt complain, i feel a lot healthier in myself so i shouldnt be bitching i guess:)
 
Stick with it Liz!

It's not always gonna happen fast as we want it to, but if we stick to the right diet and workout plan it WILL happen. Don't let things get ya down.
 
just bk from the gym- burned 300- tried to go to 400 but my heart wasnt in it (+ i was wreaked from work this morn )

Trainer in the gym gave me a new exercise routine seen as the old one wasnt tiring me out anymore, and im trying to avoid a pleatux hence why i asked for it

Few things on my mind...

1. I think i need to get an online weight loss buddy, i mean i love this place but its not the same as having someone to discuss weight issues with whos going through the same thing. My partners been amazing but i cant talk to him about it as he is doing weight training and he doesnt understand what im going through, though he is trying his best to diet with me. Hes been amazing.

2. I go to the gym Mondays,Wed,Fri, Sat and Sunday . My trainer says thats more than enough and i should take Tuesdays and Thursdays off or ill pull a muscle(like when i hurt my calf last week) and it will eventually catch up with me, but todays tuesday and im feeling VERY guilty about not going to the gym, which is stupid cos i went for the last four days on the trot(Thursday was my last break)

Any thoughts????????????
 
Instead of going to the gym every day - on your non gym days - do something active but fun... ride a bike, go for a hike, instead of just sitting on the couch - go and be active... you don't have to break your neck every single day... and there's no reason to feel guilty about not working out every day

i guess so, i know its stupid compared to what exercise i used to do its 100% more, maybe i should praise myself for what ivce done instread of punishing myself for what i havnt done

As long as you don't get too stuck in the well I did this - so i can "misbehave for the next two weeks" it's all good...

there's always going to be things that you can't do or don't have time to do... don't stress over it too much -you do what you can and that's best for you for right now.

You're doing more than you used to do -and that's a very good thing...
