Little Scribblings of My Journey

Thanx for believing in me! Im scurrrrd! Really though. Im just thinking what am I going to eat??? How will I get exercise in when everyone wants to visit? Remember, its my stomping grounds and no matter what someone gets hurt if I cant see them.. like im picking favorites!!! Blahhhh.. :waving:

:seeya:............

I think that you will do great.
Here are a few things I would try to do that will hopefully help you out this up and coming weekend.
1. If at all possible (when eating out) try to suggest a place that you know will have at least 1 entree on the menu that will help to keep you on track.
2. Pack your non-perishable snacks now! Example; Almonds, 100 cal packs, snack size boxes of raisins, you get the idea. And take them with you everywhere you go. Don't be shy about pulling a snack outta your hat (hahaha) when at someone else's house. Or eat it right before you go in. That way when you are offered something you can honestly say that you are not hungry or at the very least if they do insist on putting food in front of you (my dh is Puerto Rican and I have learned that family gets easily hurt when I turn things down) you can just eat a small bit and that will be enough to satisfy the fam and friends.
3. Go ahead and eat everything that is served, just in tiny portions. This way you can have your cake and eat it too! LOL
4. Take your water bottle with you everywhere you go.
5. Whenever possible suggest going for walks while visiting.
6. And this is just me..........go for a run on the beach. Think of it as a seriously inclined treadmill. I guarentee you'll get the workout of a lifetime!
7. And most importantly...........have fun!!!!

:drool5: really .......... i call :icon_bs: lmao prove it

hahaha
Okay so here is a good example of just how much shaking there is going on with my booty.
While in Zumba class (Latin dancing/aerobics) the instructor called out that I was really doing a great job with shaking it.
And answered her back that it was hard not to. Since when I get that thing going it is just like the Energizer Bunny. It just keeps going........and going.......and going......and going
:smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:

Well at least someone is enjoying it! :sifone:
'Cuz usually I feel like if I get that thing going in one direction I will only ever be going in circles until is slows down. LOL

Just sliding thru..
I had a good past couple of days.. still on track but still very anxious about this weekend. I leave tomorrow morning and I will be back Sunday evening.. in time for my measurements and weigh in. The All-knowing and Ever-present God

You... are acquainted with all my ways.

— Psalm 139:3

What is God like? Where is He? Does He know everything?

Two key attributes of God are found in Psalm 139. We read these words from King David:

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways . . .Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:1–3, 7–10)

From this psalm and other passages in Scripture, we learn that God is omnipresent (He is everywhere) and that God is omniscient (He is all-knowing).

Now that can be comforting or frightening, depending on your relationship with God. If your relationship with Him is close, it's very comforting to know that no matter what you face in life, God will be there for you.

Whatever happens in your life, you can remember that it comes through the screen of His love with your best interests in mind. Remember that as you go through the difficulties of life.

You can have confidence in the knowledge that you are never alone. The all-knowing and ever-present God is with you

What a Blessing you are :Angel_anim:

I haven't posted since my little vacation. Im always full of anxiety when im trying to stay on track and I have something outside of my "box" going on. Afraid I will overindulge and ruin everything that I have worked so stinkin hard for.. I am very pleased to report that I actaully managed to LOOOOOSE while away in Cali!! I was stoked. It wasnt a huge loss but it wasnt a gain and im sure happy about it. I had a baby shower to go to and I did just fine. I had little bits here and there. It all paid off..

I had to take Monday off from the gym since I was exhausted!!!!! Back and ready to go on Tuesday I did great. Treadmill for about 1 hour. Finished up my week 4 of the c25k and yesterday I was thinking of repeating week 4 just becuase I didn't feel ready but I pushed myself and you know, for a change, it feels amazing to actually conquer!! I did the week 5 day 1.. hard, absolutely but not nearly as hard as I thought. I always have a way of underestimating myself.

I will have to say, that I have been slacking in the journaling department. Usually I journal absolutely everything I eat.. but I opened the sucker and I have several days missing... or only partial days filled out. I need to get back to doing so.

My husband is actually going to the gym!! hahah. Its great but I just cant believe it until I see it. I guess the boys at work are having some competition.. 7 of them weighed in and are trying to lose a few extra pounds. Im excited for him, but I can't help but joke around as he begs me to make beans every single day and just cant stop from snacking on goodies. I need to be supportive I know.. I actually would get hurt when he would not back me up in my goals soooo I guess this right here was my wake up call.. that was a little bit of "Search my heart o Lord"... ohhh His wonderous ways....
