Little John's trying again. And again. Aaaand again.

Yay for LJ! Going in the right direction you are. Curious to hear what you think about the hypnosis thingy, please let us know (though it´ll probably take a while for it to really take hold).

Maybe give yourself a healthy option in case the 8pm munchies are too strong. I once heard a motivational speaker who said that your brain doesn't have a mental image for the word "no". So if you try to envision yourself NOT snacking after 8 pm, you're really just picturing yourself most definitely snacking after 8pm. And the self-fulfilling prophecy begins.

Hope the hypnosis app is working.

You are getting very sleeeeeeeeeeepy. You don't want drive thru. You don't want to eat late at night. Cluck like a chicken!

So, 4-5 days of hypnosis, not quite in a row. Spoda be a daily thing. I'll say I'm getting a little traction out of the self-pity party, and I'm stepping away from some of my bad habits. I got the greenlight to start lifting and rowing again, so I'll be easing back into that again starting this evening.

Have avoided drive-thru pretty nicely, and the late-night snacking, while not 100% gone, has dropped, so I hope I'm back on track!

I rowed about 4 km, and lifted for about 25 minutes. Certainly not my greatest performance, but I feel good!

It shouldn't be your best performance this early on! Eaaaase back into it, LJ! Glad to see you back in the saddle, looking forward to hearing about your next workout.

Hi LJ. Glad you got the green light & are back here too. Also very glad you are starting to feel better, xo Cate

Checking in here. Belt's loosening a little bit, I've been avoiding the scale. Not exercising as much as I'd like, but I have been exercising. Food's been better, too.

I went for a sleep study pre-screen, and she informed me that my dropped uvula and oversized tongue are both indicators that I may have apnea. Taking the real test on Monday in a take-home version.

I don't want to say "I hope you have this medical condition" but I do really hope this will help you find your happy again: good luck!

Well if you do, you'll get a cool mask in time for Halloween. My guess is if you can improve your sleep, a lot of the other stuff will also become easier. Good luck.

Hi LJ. I agree that if you can improve your sleep almost everything else will become easier. I'm glad you are eating & feeling a bit better. Thanks for checking in, xo Cate
