Friday:

Breakfast: Cereal and french vanilla decaff
Snack: Zone Bar

Remark: Every time I forget the Turkey Bacon in the morning I am hungry at least an hour earlier...:( I wish I wouldn't be so forgetful.

Lunch: Sandwich with Turkeybreast, Cheese and Tomatoe

Beverages: another french vanilla decaff and water
Exercise: two laps with the pup
 
Weekend was not too bad.


Friday night we were invited for dinner, which was a big meal with dessert...
Pork Roast & Gravy with mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, red cabbage, plus salad greens and beet salad - one of my favorite meals, so I ate :eek:
Dessert was an apple-blueberry crisp with vanilla icecream (yumm)

Saturday
Breakfast: Turkey Bacon & Eggs and Toast
Lunch: Sandwiches
Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookie
Snack: Turkey Bacon
Dinner: Left-Overs from Friday
Snack: Chocolate Chip Cookie


Sunday:
Breakfast: Cereal with Blueberries
Lunch: Irish Stew and Toast
Snack: two slices Wasa with Nutella
Dinner: Steak and Zucchini and Macaroni and Cheese
Dessert: Yoghurt with Blueberries

Didn't get much exercise again as the field was flooded again
Drinking is always not that great on the weekend
 
Monday:
Breakfast: 4 Wasa with Nutella, one mug french vanilla decaff and a glass of silk
Snack: Zone Bar
Lunch: Sandwich
Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookie
Snack: Yoghurt and a mandarine
Dinner: Probably left over macaroni and cheese

Beverages: breakfast and water
Exercise: two laps
 
Wow, Lisa, sounds like you've been doing better than I!

My diet has been a disaster the past few months because of too many commitments and not enough willpower :-((

I AM sticking with that high protein breakfast routine I began some time back and that does keep me going. I have changed some of the protein bars. I see that Atkins must came out with a berry oatmeal bar which is incredible.

What has screwed me up big time is that I strained ligaments in both wrists from lifting bags of soil and now I can't do any weight training at all. what a bummer.

Of course, like you, I have the dog, so I get at least two good brisk walks daily ;-)))

so nice to hear from you again. Sorry about your wrists, that doesn't sound very good:(

My exercise is still just as bad as it was, but I walk and play with the dogs and I don't sit down a lot, so I think I am doing ok.

My diet is not that great anymore lately....too many carbs... I am working on changing that again.

I had a Oatmeal to go bar earlier, but I didn't like it very much. It tasted too sweet...

Hope to hear from you again sometime:):)
 
Update Monday:

Dinner: Left-Over Macaroni & Cheese...bad I know

In the evening Training with the PUP - I was exhausted and believe me, I got my resistance training in this time:). There were more larger dogs this time, so a lot of new friends to meet and constantly trying to go see them. MY arms are getting strong, just sometimes I have a balance problem, so I have to work on that:D:D
 
Tuesday:
Breakfast: 4 slices Wasa with Nutella, mug of decaff french vanilla and silk
Snack: Zone Bar
Lunch: Salad
Snack: Apple
Dinner: Hamburger (selfmade) and Miso Soup

Beverages: Water, juice with water
Exercise: three laps total and a few other exercises, maybe 5-10 minutes total
 
Wednesday:
Breakfast: 4 slices Wasa with Nutella, and a mug of CafLib
Snack: Oatmeal to go and three apple rings
Lunch: Sandwich and Salad

Beverages: water
Exercise: three laps so far
 
Thursday:

Breakfast: Waffle with bacon and egg
Lunch: Taco del Mar - enchilada with rice and beans and soft taco - split with hubby
Dinner: Salmon and Zucchini
Snack: Yoghurt with Jam

Exercise: two laps
Beverages - not enough:eek: - some pop, some water
 
Friday:
Breakfast: Cereal and Turkey Bacon plus Hot Chocolate
Snack: Zone Bar
Lunch: three slices of Pizza
Snack: Salad
Snack: Mandarin
Snack: Special K Bar
I am still hungry:(:(:(

Dinner - don't know yet

Beverages: Water
Exercise: two laps
 
it has been quite some time, since I have been here. The break wasn't intentional and I didn't want to hide and bad diet choices. I don't have a working computer at home - yet - and I got so busy at work, that I just didn't have time to update. And then last week Thursday my work computer started having problems, so I couldn't start posting.

It's haed enough trying to keep up reading with all the new members that are here. I think it's great - the more the better.

I will not try and update the past two weeks, I don't remember half the things I ate and did anyway. So I will make a fresh start starting yesterday (23-11)

Actually one thing I have to mention - I started exercising - not a lot, but it's a start for me anyway. I did about 20 minutes on Monday and so far only 5-10 minutes today, but I am hoping to get a few more squats and push-ups in. I do the push-ups against the wall for now, cause the ones on the floor are still too hard for me, and I fear I use a bad posture doing them, which would only result in different problems.

So....back to the diary portion...
 
Wednesday

Breakfast: Cereal and 1/2 glas of juice
Snack: 2 Wasa with Nutella
Lunch: Wrap with smoked Turkey and Cheese & apple
Snack: Oatmeal to go
Dinner: Salmon, rice and green beans
Dessert: small piece Mocha Almond Cake

Beverages: juice, hot chocolate, water
Exercise: some wall push ups and some squats and approx. 45min Tai Chi
 
Thursday:
Breakfast: Cereal
Snack: Wasa Crackers with Nutella
Lunch: Sandwich with Turkey Breast and Cheese, plus some Cucumber Slices
Snack: Zone Bar
Snack: two french truffels
Dinner: Veggies with Shrimp and Egg & mashed potatoes
Dessert: 1/4 New York Style Cheese Cake & 1/4 other cake

Beverages: decaff coffee, water, juice

Exercise: none


 
Friday:
Breakfast: Cereal, decaff coffee
Snack: Wasa Crackers with Nutella
Lunch: Sandwich w Turkey Breast and Cheese (forgot the Veggies:eek: )
Dessert: 2 x 2 French Truffels (they taste so good and are so so bad....)
Snack: not sure yet
Dinner: We're going out - I'll have to see the menu

Beverages: Decaff Coffee, water

Exercise: None... Our property is flooded so I can't even walk around the field with the dog...

I am not sure of the history of this web site but it appears to be here because of you and AllCdnboy. I think you two are ingenious!!!!! This has been such a turning point for me....,that lil boost that I needed to get me going, but most of all keep me going. The way the two of you take the time to go through and read up on everyone and make us all feel welcome and accepted despite our "issues", it just wonderful. Keep up the awesome job you both are doing for everyone here. A heart felt,,,THANKYOU!
 
Weekend wasn't all that great - eating wise. I went shopping and kind of forgot lunch until 3.30PM and then had a small sandwich and cheese cake:eek:

The rest of the weekend was ok - except for more cake

Monday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal (package) and decaff coffee
Snack: Wasa with nutella
Lunch: Sandwich and cucumber
Dessert: 4 french truffels
Snack: Yoghurt
Dinner: Bean Burrito
Snack: piece of chocolate

Beverages: decaff, water, juice mixed with water
Exercise: 1 lap, 15 minutes various exercises and stretching, puppy class
 
Tuesday:

Breakfast: Oatmeal and decaff coffee, Fruit Juice with water
Snack: decaff coffee and cake
Snack: Zone Bar
Lunch: Sandwich and Cucumber

missed snack
Dinner: selfmade meat patties (yumm) with rice and zucchini
Dessert: 2 pieces of chocolate

Exercise: none
Beverages: lots of water, decaff coffee and juice with water
 
Wednesday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with Protein Powder
Snack: christmas cookies a colleague brought (way too many - felt sick afterwards:eek: )
Lunch: Sandwich - forgot the veggies at home
Snack: Cookies (2 more) and French Truffels
Snack: two more cookies:eek:
Dinner: Wrap with lunch meat, cheese and leftover veggies


Exercise: 20 min various exercises, stretching and other and one lap with the dog.


Beverages: water and one mug of decaff
 
Thursday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal Package with Protein Powder and a mug of decaff
Snack: Wasa crackers with Nutella (right when i got to work:( i need to eat a better breakfast...)
Lunch: Sandwich and Cucumber
Dessert: Cookies (the boss brought a whole box)
Dinner: Wrap with ground beef, cheese and ketchup




Beverages: 3 mugs of decaff and water
Exercise: approx. 10 minutes and one lap
