Lisa's Final Countdown, The Good Days, the Bad, & the Ugly

Trust me, it wasn't worth it. I was promising god last night I'd never eat it again if I could stop heading for the bathroom :X Well not really...just being dramatic. But bet it'll be a minute before I eat any. You can all laugh if you see it in my food logs next week :X.

Ah you poor thing! Getting sick off of pizza.....this isn't the first time, is it? Or maybe I'm thinking of the time I threw up 5 slices of Round Table pizza for no apparent reason : X

Papa murphy's regular crust always makes me sick but I didn't realize that it was the crust until now. But since I can eat the thin & crispy crust no problem what else could it be?

Ok I think I caught up on everyone's journals. It was getting crazy earlier trying to figure out which I'd been to and I was like omg people stop posting, lol. J/k. SO now to catch up here with all my fav peeps :)

Shit! I hope you're not getting sick either! Nice to hear you're still not drinking soda :hurray: I didn't get a chance to see your videos but I hope to, soon, take care! :hug2:
Whatever it was I'm shaking it off I think...the sinus pressure let up anyway. And still no pop :)
that is sooooo freakin' cute that he got you the rose *_*
i love cutesie romantic things <3
im such a hopeless romantic =D

wahhh dont get sick again!!!
rest up and feel better tomorrow!!!

Me too but my hubby isn't really too romantic. When we played mmorpgs he used to give me presents in game for real holidays :X. Seriously that's the first time he EVER in 8 years got me a rose just because. Well there was one other time but that's cuz he came home and found me in tears because of some nasty people at work. I rarely cry so guess it freaked him out, lol.
Hi Lisa!!!:waving:

I feel kinda funny because I hate leaving drive by's but I did just wanna make sure I stopped by! Hope you're not getting sick :( I had a touch of something that seemed like it sldi past me without much damage last week. Hoep it goes righ ton by you too.:hug2:

Hey a full paragraph isn't a drive by. And even if it was I'll take it! lol Everyone's support means alot to me, especially when they're really busy but still take the time to swing by, however short the message may be :) Glad you're out of the woods on bein sick. I think I shook it off too

What kind of pizza from Papa John's has 1,110? How many slices? What kind of crust? *grabs you by your lapels* TELL ME EVERYTHING! I want DETAILS!

LMAO...lapels...you're so funny :D I seriously had to chuckle at that whole image of you mauling me for low cal pizza info
Lisa,

Awesome!! Seems to me you're doing great lately. :) 34 pounds lost is awesome! :) I'm rooting for you all the way!!

G

Thanks George :) Can't wait to weigh in tomorrow so I hope it's more than that when I do. Still can't believe I've lost that much yet.
I think it's cruel that veggie pizza can clock in, in the 1,000s. Damn misleading names :( Do you get sick from the grease or what? I knw I can't eat pizza hut pizza [well I can but it'd just be torture] cause I always get sick, WAY too much grease, but I've never bought Papa John's so, the real question is, is their pizza good? lol.

The thin crust veggie isn't that bad, especially when it's for dinner and I have the calories. But just not all the time and not a whole pizza...I do half and half with my hubby so I can't eat as much. And I don't think it's the grease...definitely the dough of their regular crust. And I've never been able to stand Papa Johns pizza, always made me sick except I accidently tried some of their thin crust and that's good. It doesn't make me sick for whatever reason.

HaHaHa! ;)

Lisa and Everyone:

I SWEAR by these...You'll never want take-out pizza again..

<3 Stacy

Thanks Stacy, I'll definitely let you know when I get a chance to try that. Normally I only order pizza when I don't want to cook though so soon as I get my freezer stocked with precooked stuff I should be good. That pizza does sound delicious though.
MMMMM pizza, reading your diary today is torture lol, i havn't eaten real pizza in over 2 years.

Sorry Tru, you're not missing that much though. I could live without pizza after being with my hubby the last 8 years. Now mexican food...that's another story....

Ah you poor thing! Getting sick off of pizza.....this isn't the first time, is it? Or maybe I'm thinking of the time I threw up 5 slices of Round Table pizza for no apparent reason : X
Well papa murphys always upset my stomach but not like that. I think you're thinking of the spinach omelet I upchucked a few weeks ago, lol.

Wow..took me two days to catch up with everyone and I sure hope I didn't miss anybody, lol. I'm so tired though cuz I worked last night and couldn't sleep today. I'm about to head for bed cuz I have to get up really early and take the puppy in to the vet to be fixed. I know it's routine but I'm still nervous so I'll be happy when she's back home again. Take care and talk to everyone tomorrow :)

what mmorpgs did you play??? lol me and my boyfriend played one called angels online for like a few months... he quit and i continued to play and balloon up D: but then when i did quit it was a complete 180 i started working out and eating better

We played Ultima Online for over 5 years. My husband and I met on AOL but I guess we had alot of our long distance relationship playing the game for fun the first year. Ultima was good because it was fun and you could still have a life. You could get on for like 20 minutes and get back off. Well then my husband brought home World of Warcraft...or as it should have been called, gaming crack. And not only that they posted how much in game time you accumulated. I saw months of my life add up on there and stopped looking at it :X. We played that game for over 2 years...maybe 3. But it stopped being a recreation and just somewhere I went to escape because with me playing 6 to 12 hours a day I had alot of stuff piled up. When the newness of the game finally wore off and stuff on there started becoming drama too I finally was able to say enough. I quit playing and got my life back in order and my stress level came WAY down. I play stuff on Xbox that has an END sometimes, like the latest Fable game is awesome. And I like puzzle games but as boring as my life is I have alot more going on now than I did, lol. You'd be amazed though how many people are living their lives in those virtual realms. I wonder how much more I'd have accomplished if I'd not gotten hooked on them back when I met my husband. He quit playing them too when he saw me stop...he'd already gotten sick of them anyway. Just lost interest. So I should be glad he only plays call of duty, even if it is all the time at least it's with his real life friends so he's not completely cutting off the outside world, lol.

hehehe my boyfriend plays CoD too! and he was playing fable a while back... ive just dropped games completely... although i did play guitar hero a while back... but thats enough for me. im a big final fantasy fanatic! ^^ those are the only games i will play anymore... if i even get in the mood. i would like to get a wii fit... i think it seems pretty fun and effective from what people like motherof2 have said. lol.

=T yeah i remember cutting out the outside world... i would spend hours talking to people from the game... and ive wrecked alot of friendships in real life from not making an effort and coming up with excuses... but... idk... its not a big deal atm... because alot of my REAL friends dont live in arkansas... its not my home... its just a place i live for the moment... haha the effects being a military brat has on people...

have a great day^^

Yea I moved from Cali to Ohio and had no friends here so was easy to get online for the social aspect. Can't play mmorpgs and be in school though and I know if I started any up again I'd do nothing else and probably end up not going back to school next semester. Not to mention I know we'd end up eating convenience and fast food again cuz I'd be in the game, lol. Plus puppy wouldn't get as much attention :D And that wouldn't fly. Speaking of which, I had to drop her off at the vet this morning to be fixed. I didn't realize for some dumb reason I'd have to leave her over night and I when I left it really hit me and I felt like crying. Stupid I know but I've already been nervous and I felt like I was saying goodbye. Guess left over from the bad experience of taking our other kitty to the vet and not being able to bring him home. Course not the same vet and like my husband said she's not sick. I'll be very happy to bring her home tomorrow and I told myself to get a grip today and enjoy the day of not having to watch her like a hawk cuz we're still potty training, lol. Which is finally going well now that we figured out she had a bladder infection.

After I dropped her off I went ahead and went to the store cuz I knew I wouldn't go back out later if I didn't. I got a ton of fresh fruit and some salad veggies and some more frozen low cal lunch meals. Hubby asked for cookies ;/ So I got him what he wanted and put it in his big trunk where I make him keep his junk food....right on top of his magic cards, lol. And for me I got some dried fruit. I know you get alot more filled up on whole fruit but I thought it's healthier than candy and I apricots are not in season so dried is good. I also got some buttered popcorn rice cakes. They really sounded good and the butter/salty hit the spot when I got home for not a ton of calories. May be a good substitute for popcorn when I want something like that and don't have the calories left. Also got some lower calorie bread. My husband likes white and this is wheat but it's only 35 calories a slice...less than half the calories of what I've been buying for him. So he can suck it up that it's wheat cuz I can get a whole sandwhich instead of half, lol. I've been making sure he's happy food wise and cooking at home which he loves so he can handle a few minor changes that I'm making for ME. He hasn't complained too much about not having pop in the house. I've seen his regular 2 liters on and off but I think he's drinking less now too. I got some minute maid lite in a 2 liter, only 5 cals a glass and also some orange juice so with those and ice tea as other choices he might decide he likes the new variety. Ok so I'm blabbing on about my grocery trip, lol. Nothing else too exciting goin on...well except hoping our netflix movies come today, lol. Yay movie night!

Yeah in Ohio it is hard to make friends, I saw that with a lot of the out of state girls at OSU. It is because Ohio, no matter how many people live here, is always 6 degrees of separation. All conversations at every bar start with "where are you from? what high school did you go to? oh i know so and so" Seriously, Ohio maybe one of the most populous states, but it is also like a small town. Sometmes it is nice, but other times you just want to pack up and leave!

I'm sorry about the puppy wuppy! Is he still there? Do you need someone to pick her up (meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!) No? ok just asking...

I have that awesome 35 calorie bread. CRACK. COCAINE. Seriously, it is addictive. I don't know anyone who doesn't like it. Unless they are some crazy metabolism freaks, and they will still eat it.

Hope you have a great day!!!

I noticed that after I moved here too! But I thought it was just this area or something. It made it really hard here at first and I was so homesick for about a year. Good thing I was an only child and can amuse myself, lol.

Oh and you are so hilarious, lol If you ever do end up this direction since you're not that far we need to meet up so you can give the puppy hugz and smooches :) She was all happy this morning when I took her in, waggin and tryin to kiss everyone, lol. The vet assistant turned her and said "kiss mommy bye" and she did, lol. She looks really cute cuz I gave her a short haircut. She was gettin pretty wild crazy poofy and I figured it'd make their job easier for surgery.

And I think hubby will be ok with the bread. Just my store only had the wheat, not the white and he complains if it's not white bread. Last time I found the white kind at walmart and he never said anything....I couldn't tell for sure. I bought a mango too :) Don't remember ever having had one so we'll see if I like it.

I never got into games, because I was afraid of becoming addicted! I had a close call with Donkey Kong when I was a teen, haha! :smilielol5:

I understand about Vet Anxiety--I have head many horror stories! :( I don't blame you.......

Some whole wheat bread looks kinda like white, maybe you can trick your hubby someday! :biggrinjester:

I'm still trying to kick the gaming habit. I know it's how I packed on a lot of my weight. I spend all day at work in front of this blasted computer screen, then spend the evenings at home sitting in front of another one, gaming. There's one game I must absolutely have when it comes out & I know it'll be equal to crack to me: Diablo III. Diablo II is my favorite game of all time (and my boyfriend just doesn't get it). I've beaten D2 so many times, with different characters, that I've lost count, hehe. :leaving:

Yea I've heard it's awesome but haven't played. I may try it though cuz the game has an ending right? And it's not mmorpg is it? The problem with WoW is in order to enjoy the game once you maxed out levels you had to join a guild. The guild then made demands on people equivalent to a part time job. And while some of the raiding was fun, I spent alot of time on the game doing not fun things that other people demanded of me. Well then that sounds too much like work, lol. Initially though I just loved the escape of it when I first started playing. I was so sucked in and the graphics are so good that I felt like I was on a mini vacation. Anyway, we play D&D on weekends sometimes and that seems to fill the need for gaming enough for now. And it's sitting down offline with friends so considered a bit more healthy....at least by our friends anyway cuz they're not being ignored, lol.

I sat here thinking about my birthday goal and counted up the weeks...I have ten weeks and two days left. And while I've done great till now I think my weight loss is slowing down to 2lbs a week. Which I'm sure some of you think is alot but not for somebody my size.

Then I was looking at a few new posts today, two in the before and after section and I was seriously in awe. I thought geez, I really need to step my game up. Ten weeks...I can exercise for ten weeks. Of course I'd keep goin by then but I'm not thinking that far ahead, lol.

So I got up off my ass, found my mp3 player and set off only to find one side of my headphones was broken. I almost got in the car to go get some but then I thought nah, I should just walk to the dollar store. So I threw my cell phone in my bra cuz I didn't want to carry a purse and set off, lol.

Now last time I walked around the neighborhood but my hubby told me at the end of our street, which is dead ended to the main MAIN street, there's a way to walk through. And guess what? I didn't realize how well lit and nice the sidewalks are! Or how safe I felt because so many business and stuff around. There's even an uphill at the end near the store I was headed for so it wasn't all flat either.

Took me 15 minutes to get there and on the way I was thinking geez I'm lazy, if I skinny I'd never do this, lol. I saw a guy jogging down the hill going the other way and was like cool...ok I'm not the only nut out here. Got to the store, got my headphones and what a difference having music in both ears made, lol. Plus I think I was getting that exercise high :X. Then my boob vibrated and I had to stop (cell phone, lol). Hubby said he was on his way.

Anyways it was so nice just to be walking outside and it wasn't the torture it is to sit on a stationary bike or try and use my treadmill. And all the A-holes must have been too cold to have their windows down cuz nobody hollered at me. In fact the guy I saw running on my way too the store was going up the hill as I was heading home and he looked over and waved. Seriously he doesn't know how that made my day...I pictured him being like one of the forum guys here and was nice to get support in the community instead of "fat ass" yelled out a car window.

I was almost home and it started pouring down rain and the wind was blowing a bit but know what? I loved it! Tucked my mp3 player in my sleeve and put my hoody up and walked as the rain hit the pavement and the street lights reflected off it cuz it was getting dark. Plus I was listening to Enigma, which is PERFECT exercise music. If you haven't heard them try T.N.T. for the brain while working out, it's great. I was almost home and my hubby pulled up...I shoulda kept walking but I was in my neighborhood by then and the sidewalks were getting a bit awkward cuz they're muddy and broken so I got in.

End result, I WALKED 30 FULL MINUTES TODAY, and at a steady nice pace :D

Would be nice if the snow holds off now so I can get my routine going. Rain I can handle but sliding on ice is another thing, lol.

OOooh I love Enigma.... brilliant stuff... so relaxing, valium for the brain is right!!

Hey, way to go, 30 minutes walk, good for you!! And the main thing is you enjoyed it, so that means you're going to want to do it again.. and again.. and again....
Soon you'll be joining that friendly jogging man, oh yeah you will. Ever tried that Couch to 5K or whatever it's called? That would be perfect for you.
Errm I should be doing that myself, but I'm too chicken right now, lol.

Aww I do hope Lilly is OK at the vet's -- even if it is nothing majorly serious, it must have been heart wrenching to leave her. Please give her 15 hugs from me when you see her again... I am sending loads of best wishes & good luck to recover quickly as poss. Could you post pics of her with her new 'puppy cut' (hairstyle) when you can?? cos that would REALLY make my day! {HUGS}

Take care Lisa, have a lovely evening (or day ????.... haha, we're all in such different time zones in this forum, I'm never quite sure what time it is for anyone around here).... :seeya:

That is fantastic!! I'm SO glad you decided to walk to the store and to realize that most people are not going to pay much attention to you as they walk by and those who do notice are friendly! I honestly hope that this urges you to get out there again to exercise!! I am proud of you!!
