I was a runner way back, then last time I lost weight I was running about 30min 3 or 4 times a week. This time round I heard about the couch to 5k and it sounded like a fun 'easy' way to get myself back into it....now I've just finished day two of week 7 and still can't believe how easily I can run for 25min, and even push it at the end:party:....great programme couldn't recommend it more highly!

Wohooo, things continue to go really well! I am on week 8 of the couch to 5k, and finished day one today, this week I have to run 28min....and am able to do it fairly easily, so that is great!

Seem to be losing an average of just over a pound a week, that is a healthy weight loss so I am confident I am going about this the right way this time!

life is good, busy, but good!

:waving::waving:Hi LILLY!!! glad to see our doing wonderful!!! Keeping up with the health...:hurray::hurray: I am so so happy and proud of you.. Wow don't you feel great at 173.. You must be getting a lot of complements.. Well girly I wish you the best.. can't wait till we become skinny bitches together.....:iagree::iagree::party:

O.K, the six week challenge is over, so I can get back to writing in my diary. I am glad I hung in there with my currently very busy life and all, but am also really glad it is over, time to just get back to me and my programme and not worry about any other goals or challenges for a while.

I am only 2kg away from my initial weight goal....the weight I was before my first child, that feels really good!

I have the flu at the moment and while i did manage to fit in the 5hours of exercise last week I am currently debating if it is very good to be getting up at 6am to go for a jog tomorrow...maybe just a short one???

Other than being sick, things are ticking along nicely...exercise is a part of my daily life now, so it is a habit, eating well is pretty much a habit too, the only time I struggle with eating is around that time of the month....I seem to lose all willpower around that time, does not make it any easier that I seem to gain about 1kg during that week....very demoralising when you feel 'fat'.

Oh well, here's to the next few months, I'm hoping that by the 1st of July I'll be at my goal weight...however I am still not really sure what that should be...I guess I'll know when I get there.:coolgleamA:

ok, so I have not written in here for a little bit, have myself a wee break over Easter...but didn't eat any chocolate....go my willpower go!

Anyways I finished the C25k a few weeks ago, and then got the flu, so had not been running as often as I should, just sticking to my machines (actually I ran 5k when my flu was at its worse and I think I did more damage than good)

So my running fitness after missing a week dropped off....instead of getting defeated I am going to run 20mins for the next two weeks 3 times a week and then build to running 30mins again a week or two after that.

My problem is I am so damn competitive, I expect myself to be able to run miles after only a few weeks...I think I have got a handle on that now...

The days I don't run I will do my circuit...funny how I can run up 230 stairs without it killing me, but jogging really kicks my arse at the moment...it does amaze me how much a bad flu sets you back though!

Eating all on track, I am trying to wean myself off writing everything down...will see how I go, before when I did that I started to lack a conscience about what I was eating...this time I want to be able to self-monitor and no count calories religiously....I guess this will take time, I still have so much to lose!

Well....I have dropped off the face of the earth a little around here, just have not had time to get in and write in my diary, to be honest all of my diary writing and logging my food has come to a complete halt. I am still losing though, and still exercising....am now in the 160's so that is great! People are all noticing now, and that is a big plus, I actually don't feel 'fat' any longer. But I am determined to lose another 5kg...slowly but surely.

My running has not happened for the last couple of weeks, I was doing well but the flu played havoc with my asthma, so have been sticking to the elliptical and will start running again next week.

Hey Lillly!! I am glad to see your in the 160's awesome hah.. I finally made it to the 160's too .. We are doing this and doing it right.. I am so so happy for you.. and yeah I know sometimes we fall of writing in our diaries but it's really good for the mental. I think it really keeps me going to the other level.. I want to be so so fit... But I am super super happy for you..Thanks so much Lilly for all your kind words all the time and I'm so happy your doing good...
