Lilly's journey...this time it will happen!

Hi lilly just dropping by to say hi.. Wishing you luck on a beautiful week... How that couch to 5k going?? Well hope all is well... Your doing good have you lost a lot of inches? Have you measured yourself?:grouphug:

Hey Ivette, thanks for dropping in. Work is pretty full on so I am finding it hard to get on here now. However I have settled into my routine of 6am workouts...Mon, Wed, and Fri I do C25k in the morning...I am in week 2 of this and so far, so good! On Tuesday and Thursday I do a 30 min walk in the morning and then 30min of circuit in the afternoons. On Saturday and Sunday I either do a bit of interval training, or circuit depending what I need to work on.

So today, did a 35 min walk, then did 25 min on my bike, 5 min warm up, 15 min sprint interval training and 5 min cool down. It is incredibly hot here in New Zealand at the moment and working out in the afternoon is a mission, I absolutely drip with sweat, even my arms sweat. I went for my walk this morning in the rain and I was still sweating, it was already hot at 6am!

My eating plan is going really well, I have incorporated some protein shakes into my plan to up the protein, and that seems to be working well.

Life is good, the changes in my body are happening slowly, but they are happening, I'll be sexy and skinny before I know it!

Hang in there, the heat wave can't last forever :( but you still done great with ya exercise :)

well the heat wave seems to have broken...at least for the last couple of days anyway. Been doing well with exercise and finished my second week of the C25K. I bought a resistance band and find that is really helping with my arm workouts. My circuits are beginning to incorporate more and more skipping as I get fitter, so that is a good sign. a typical exercise week looks like this now...

Monday - C25k (30 min)
Tuesday - 30 min walk, 30 min circuit
Wednesday - C25k (30 min)
Thursday - 30 min walk, 30 min hiit on bike (20 min on the hiit itself)
Friday - C25k
Saturday - 60 min circuit (skipping, bike, elliptical, swiss ball, stair running, resistance band)
Sunday - 60 min circuit as Saturday

It means I get round about 5hrs in, give or take a little.

The weight is slowly dropping off, and slowly is the key word I am literally losing a pound a week on average....at this slow rate it will take me a while to lose the rest, definitely will not be making that April 30 goal at this rate...oh well at least it is coming off.

Work is very busy, so I don't get on here as often as I like, but doing half my workouts in the mornings is helping with my energy levels during the day. It is still dark when I exercise, but it does feel nice when it is done.

o.k quick entry, completed 6 hours of exercise this week...woohoo.

On the 3rd week of the c25k did day one today, went well.

Food all on track.

Life good!

Great job on the workouts lilly!!! Wow you are one motivated women... I can see it.. Good job... I know what you mean soon it will all melt away.. It really will.. I believe it for sure... :iagree: You've lost a little more weight too and I'm sure you've lost a hell of inches... Keep it up chickee.. :)

:)

yep really looking forward to this next challenge.

I was supremely happy with my 6 hours exercise, but have made myself cut back to a maximum of 4...i tend to get addicted, first food, now exercise...lol

Well had a break this weekend from the diet, wasn't too bad, but did eat some chocolate and KFC so not too good either...:smilielol5:

Anyway, did not first 30 min of week 4 C25K this morning, have to admit I was worried because the running component goes up a lot this week, but I suprised myself and coped really well, must be getting fitter.

Will do my circuit training tomorrow morning for 30min (all the time I have in the morning) as I have a meeting and won't get home till about 9pm...leave for work about 7.15am, so long day tomorrow, best to get the circuit in during the morning.

Eating all good today...I generally don't have a huge problem staying on track, but I must admit having takeaway and chocolate was heaven....hopefully it won't mean bad things for my weight loss. Apparently my weight loss so far is perfect, and at this rate I should be able to keep it off, last time I lost it too fast and stuck to a 1200cal diet even though I was exercising an hour a day...not healthy and the main reason I put it all back on...I realise that now, even though I'd love to see the number drop faster, I am satisfied to know that this is a healthy lifestyle journey.

Enough of my rabbiting....bring on the challenge!

Thanks all for stopping in, it is great to have challenge buddies, I do promise to try to visit diaries later in the week....had a meeting until 9pm tonight and then parent teacher interviews tomorrow...should get a little time after that maybe.

Circuit went well this morning...so far only an hours exercise this week, but hey it is only Tuesday, I am so liking this start the week on Monday thing, it was getting confusing before.

Little down on calories today...only 1133....so a major calorie deficit...not great!

my circuit is made up of the elliptical, stationary bike, stepper, swiss ball, skipping rope, and resistance band...sometimes stair running too. I do about 3-4 min on one thing and then swap...try to do aerobic, then strength in that pattern. I find it works really well and I don't get bored. If I am doing the circuit for longer than 30min I will work some pilates in there to.
